Really good customer service. Ive always found someone willing to help me find something whenever Ive visited the store. I love their rewards program as Im able to get discounts for materials I need to complete my projects. I was not aware they have crafting classes too. I glitter stainless steel cups and make personalized shirts and Im able to find what I need here.

Everything here is at least one million dollars. You can get about 25% of their stuff for a dollar from the oriental trading company. They do have some great items that are worth what you pay for them. Thus store is set up like an office depot store. Hobby Lobby is a but nicer but not as clean. Im not sure if Id visit here again.

This store compared to Ming avenue location is soo much better. Tons of supplies and kid crafts too. I wanted one if everything lol! A must for making summer vacation memories.

The focus of the store has changed. Fewer embellishments, floral picks and wedding items are just some of the things I noticed. Just feels different.

They need to work on there lines because they are always so long.

I really do love this craft store they have almost everything you could ask for in a craft and hobby store, however unless you prepare your coupon before your trip there you wont be able to get to them in the store and neither could the staff! Or else I would have given them 5 stars

Store is good for people who love art and craft, store could benefit from updating. Elderly staff depends on who you meet your experience may vary. Most of the staff is polite some member could show more respect but may be we are spoiled as everyone gets tired at work may not be 100% while dealing with 100s customer.

Super helpful employees who go out of there way to help you find whatever your looking for! Love this place

The cashier was friendly and helpful. My granddaughter and I had a great time wandering the entire store and left with a soap making kit.

Prices are high here, unless you are shopping sale items or have a coupon. A store employee dishonestly marked my order as picked up and I was charged for something I never received. Customer Service was able to fix this issue, but still the store did not follow the correct protocols. The aisles are often messy and product is limited.

Friendly staff, line can get long at times. Good amount of crafting items, and seasonal decor. Limited for sewing though.

I like this place would have gotten all 5 stars but they are missing coin collection stuff was looking all over for it and come to find out they just didnt have it . Other then that every cool place . Two thumbs up.

Sorry average rating for average visit nothing really exciting there but at least its a safe bet there was like 5 people and like 7 staff so at least social distances wasnt a problem

Did the woman ringing up my purchase actually ask me a specific question regarding what I was buying, omg she did! Kudos to her for being an excellent human being and enjoying her job, extra points for telling me how she failed when she was trying to dye some fabric, maybe she knew just how much I enjoy conversation and enjoy stories about personal failure. (seriously and specifically lol)

This location is my fav of the two in bakersfield. Well stocked and friendly employees. I always draw a picture in the fine arts section on the tester notebook of paper.

Lots of neat crafts like a craft store should have.

Prices are a little high, but they always have what I need and the quality is usually good. I bought a pair of floral shears and they broke with the first use.

They need to have better directions where to pick up online orders.

I only gave two stars not because of the quality of the store but because the staff is usually rude and uninterested in helping you find what you need..

Whenever I go out of town i always like to compare stores that i always go to in my neighborhood. The prices and the setup of all merchandise especially my best section, the clearance section, was great. But the service of the cashier while checking out was horrible! She would rush the next customer even before the first customer was still grabbing thier bags. And she did it like 3 times while i was waiting in line.....like hello 6 ft apart means 6 feet apart! She obviously was in a hurry to go somewhere but it shouldnt be on the customers time since we are having a pandemic!!

Nothing in its labeled isle! Online is completely WRONG! And product on shelf for most crafts not in proper places making it difficult to locate merchandise your looking for.

Fun items. Overpriced. The rudest people work there. I was going to leave since I was not going to buy anything. Towards the way out this older cashier left the register she was checking people out at and proceeds to aggressively tell me “did you find everything???” So rude and like she was accusing me.

Always able to find what Im looking for at this store

Employees are horrible at this store! I was humiliated by two female employees claiming that the male cashier who helped me out didn’t charge me for an item which he did and doubled check before getting my total. The female cashier assumed he didn’t charge me for one item. Had another employee chase me down then walked around the store shouting to the one female employee that assumed I wasn’t charged for a plant. I was so humiliated! They just lost a customer!

Bunch of rufe old bats who appointed themselves the mask-police. Amazon also has literally EVERY product for significantly cheaper.

Nice staff and outstanding offerings for those who live arts and crafts. My only gripe is that they do not carry Angelus brand leather and vinyl paint.

The ladies inside the store are nice and courteous, the store is kept well clean.

Love this store. Big, bright, clean, well organized and stocks just about everything a crafter could need. Always check the app to see if what you need is in stock in store before going. Lines can be brutal during sales, weekend peak hours and any holidays, 40-50 people in line easy. Even when the cashiers are all open, youre in for a long wait.

Its like Hobby Lobby, but with different variety of products.

WOW. I am in shock with how rude some of these employees are. A woman named Kathleen rang me up and insulted me straight to my face. She has a negative vibe and you could tell she hates her job. I spoke to the manger named Veronica about an issue... not impressed. These people are so rude. I dont know how this store is still open.

One of my faves stores

Lots of fake foliage and flowers (scented and unscented) a huge number of large sized (greater than 16×20) frames on sale buy 1 get one.And it looks like about 20% of their artists mediums stock is on clearance for the new season to bring in brand new products.

Crowded. People without masks or masks around their chins. People wouldnt even stay 6 apart in the checkout line where it was marked out.

There are always people walking around asking if you need help and its nice to have that especially if you are crafting and need some advice!! The male closing manager is very very nice and i usually prefer Michaels over Joanns. The prices can get pricey but theres always a sale or coupons available!

What to say? Arts and craft supplies, plus a ton of household decor items. Awesome Halloween decorations! They often have great coupon deals and clearance sales, not to mention affordable custom framing, with frequent specials.

Always find what I need. Even better I walk in on good sales.

I just went looking for wind chimes which I found but it is a menagerie of beautiful things.

When in to price a custom frame made. Talking about overpriced.

I wasnt sure about the item I bought, so I asked the cashier some questions on it. She was very helpful and patient. In the end I found out it wasnt what I wanted, and she patiently canceled the transaction and gave me back my money. I give it 4 stars because I couldnt find any personnel at the back of the store to ask for help. I had to wait till I was paying for my item in order to ask the cashier for help. They need to hire more people to help customers.

Was able to get in and get out quickly. Store employees were able to accurately guide me to the supplies I needed to finish my art work. Store was clean and organized as well

This is a newer, nice, also huge, full service, Michaels art store and custom framing design.And by art store I mean: aisles and aisles of many mediums of creation including (but not limited to) painting--on paper, art board, or stretched canvas, or unprepared of any of those-, pen and ink, markers, pencils, charcoals, chalks, crayons, grease pens, metallics, gels, also loose liquid inks and tablets or Bristol, or other harder surfaces for etchings or relief; scrapbooking supplies, including the usual books, pages, paper accents, stickers, etc, also cricket cutting systems and vinyls in every option you could want from solid vibrants to dulls to glitters and holographic; then theres the sculpting, thats about all I had time to see today Ill edit and add whatever I missed next trip 😁
