My husband and I had left Portland on a Sunday with a tire that had a slow leak. It held up through our drive to Baker City and into the next morning. However, we were on our way to the Owyhee Canyon area which is many miles away from any services and needed to have the tire checked out. I had made an appointment through Commercial Tire’s website and unfortunately, noon was the earliest time available. Since our breakfast spot was just down the street from the shop, we decided to stop by to see if they could see us early. Manager, James Free was friendly, understanding and accommodating and got us in right as they opened. They found a small nail in our tire and fixed it up. Thank you to James and his team for making our trip worry free!PS. The tire is still holding up after approx. 1100 miles (with a lot of gravel road).

It amazes me that this store has 4.4 stars. Worst customer service I have ever recieved. I will never use this store again. Anyone who wants decent customer service should probably rethink stopping at the Baker Commercial Tire. Even management doesnt care enough to take your concerns seriously. This place is a joke. Thank goodness there are plenty of other places in Baker to stop!

You much better then Lou Brothers i e Les Schwab service is better all over attitude was better and was cheaper trusted the service when I was done didnt when I went tolou brothersTook car in Lou Brothers to have a bearing changed on my sons car now it sounds like a coffee grinder after the second time they tried to fix it I dont trust them to do anything on any of my vehicles in fear that it might fall apart afterwards had to fix brake line after their work and they stripped out bolts where they work on the car I wouldnt take a wheel barrel or my kids Hot Wheels Lou Brothers a tire shop shouldnt leave you wondering if the things going to fall apart and shouldnt make more noises than it did when it went in thank you and God bless Lou brother is not cheaper does not have a good attitude and not very helpful youre taking your life in your own hand when you trust them to put tires a car or truck but doesnt want to take it when you say that its not right for what my son paid the thing should be running on like its riding on a cloud but it sounds like a coffee grinder going down the road it the day after we got it back from them you have the choice like I said I personally who do not trust them to put my life in their hands for all of these reasons

Customers should never be ignored. I went in to pick something up, 2 people at the counter. One entering invoices into their computer, looked up at me, went right back to the computer. He, G, knew the other person was on the phone with a customer, still, he chose to ignore me. She, A, though she was on the phone, could have acknowledged me with something as small as holding up one finger, the one moment please gesture that any competent customer service employee knows, and uses regularly when unable to greet someone vocally.Neither of them chose to acknowledge my presence, until A finished with the phone call. My item was retrieved and when getting ready to pay, I was asked for not just my name, that is understandable, they want to see if I have been a customer there before. I had not, and I will not be one again in the future. As well as my name, she asked for my address, my phone number and my email address. Is this commonplace now? I truly felt as if I did not give the information, I would not have been picking up and paying for the item I was asked to pick up. A customer should be asked if they would like to give their personal information, not be made to feel as if they have to give it.

We were so happy with James and all the guys here this past September. After a bad experience with a blown tire on our truck, while pulling our camper, they were rays of sunshine. They got us in quickly, and the price very fair. Baker City you have a real gem here!

The manager of this store, James Free, is amazing! Baker City, you truly have a gem of a man there! After a long day of truck issues and being stranded on the side of the freeway ALL day, James was an angel to save the day. After being rescued, and heading home, about 8:30 pm just outside of Baker City, the tire on my trailer blew. I called the after hours roadside service and limped the trailer into the shop there and waited for a call back. Meanwhile, James just happened to be driving by. He stopped to see what was up when he saw us sitting there. He went right to work finding the tire we needed, and replaced not one, but two tires on my trailer without hesitation! He had me cancel the after hours call, which saved me tremendously! THANK YOU JAMES FOR COMING TO THE RESCUE! Baker City, if you have vehicle service needs, your local Commercial tire is the place to go! No doubt James and his team will treat you right!

Had one of our trucks in there to have 4 drives tires put on took them over 2hrs to mount cause they had only one person that was doing the job while everyone else did nothing to help move this a long. Poor management. Dont stop here unless you want to loose half a day or more. Your time means nothing to them

I had a flat tire and they were able to get me in right away and fix it on the inner tire of my dually and then didn’t charge me anything which surprised me and I was very thankful forthen while taking the tire off they discovered one of my wheel studs was broken they ordered me a new one and then installed it for me the following Saturday morning then they told me they weren’t going to charge me for that either that really surprised me and I am really thankful

John and James were amazing. I had a blow out and John got me back on the road in less than 30 minutes with 4 new tires and one hell of an experience. I highly recommend anyone use these guys.

Rotation and flat repair, took care of it really fast.

I made an appointment for 3:00 to have an alignment done . I confirmed it would be done by 5. I told the tech I would come back another day if they could not have it done today since Im taking time off work to do this without a doubt the tech says. Dropped the vehicle off at 2:30. Came back at 5 and the manager tells bring it back in tomorrow. Wasted a whole day and ruined my weekend plans. Making me consider paying the extra cash at les Schwab to actually have a car worked on when u make an appointment.

Are you kidding 3 flats in 2 days! I had the first one fixed in Ontario CT. and now this one here in this Baker C.T.! The Ontario store was awesome and so I came to this one hoping for the same deal and BAM! the guy in this store is awesome helpful too! Gets me right in! I hand him my paperwork from Ontario C.T. and hes like pull it around back Bay 2 and theyre already working on it! Looking online Im seeing the Commercial Tire stores are all over the place. Great staff and customer service! We had a problem with our trailer tire while on vacation. They took great care of us and got us back on the road.

Very nice, helped us get back on the road by replacing our flat tire. Not the easiest to get to from the highway, but since we ate not from that area we dont know the roads.

Met my flat tire needs, no charge, but quite slow for the amount of business at the time.

When your family comes in to get vehicle checked for a tire and sent away twice saying its fine. To go hunting to find a screw in it in the mountains hunting, absolutely unacceptable. When we called not only the store and corporate for assistance we got 0 assistance. Assistant manager finds it funny and couldnt seem to find the time to pass along the message to the manager. Told us to limp in the vehicle, to what cause more damage as he stated there would not be covered, to any damage that may be caused during the 1.5 hour drive down from mountain as the error on shops oversight . Im sorry we came in twice to assure my father a recent spinal patient, would not have these types of issues. Now the asm laughs and cant find the time and nobody will take ownership of the error, as well as possible injury. This is beyond frightening to think we have an account here and put our vehicles and safety in the hands of this crew.

I am very displeased with commercial tire, I will be taking my business elsewhere. Management is rude and the two techs they had up front are as slow as snails what happened to the good techs. Very unhappy with my experience at this business.

Appreciate the professional service and being able to get my car serviced.

I ordered a set of 4 tires and after waiting a week and a half they call and tell me my tires are in. So I drop my car off with them. When I go and pick it up 4 hours later they had only changed the front tires. Apparently they only ordered two tires so now I have to wait another day for the back tires. I drop my car back off to them they put the tires on and did an alignment. When I go to pick up my car it wont start. Now I am really mad I was talking to my wife telling her I didnt know what they had done to it when the manager Derek Dollarhide comes out of the garage called me a jackass told me to get off the property and said they dont need my business. Well thats easy to say after I spend $500.00 on tires.

They got us safely back on the road, have us wisdom about our tires.
