So, we came in to the shop on Saturday, just because we were next-door. Little did we know we were in for an amazing experience.Rich was one of the most kindest, empathic men Ive met. He was so kind to our son, and genuinely excited to show everything to my son, and has an amazing passion for his family work.Their food is not just amazing but absolutely beautiful!!! You come here and you are eating art. The experience we had at MAE was amazing.Their boxes of treats will make for great gifts. If someone got me this I would be confused if to eat it or hang it in my fridge.I recommend the coffee flavor Bon Bon, they are the perfect blend of chocolate and coffee, usually the coffee is overwhelming. But this was perfect.I will be back soon, thank you Rich for helping us discover you product, I am not a fan.Chris

Ive driven past this place a thousand times and was just too curious! A fine chocolate factory store, blocks from my house? I had to stop in. We bought a giant gift set with little bonbons, massive mousse filled chocolates, French macaroons, buuutttttttt what we werent expecting was Chef Rich to kindly invite us back and give us a full tour of the kitchen!He even let my little girls go in the walk in freezer and choose some chocolate chip cookies (literally the best chocolate chip cookies Ive ever tried).Everyone who worked here was so happy and kind, so many smiles and upbeat workplace!When you walk in the kitchen doors your hit with the scent of fresh chocolate.Loved everything about the place! Try the raspberry bon bons! To die for!

I cannot gush enough of this place.My mother-in-law, my two kids, and I stopped by to get some macaroons after spotting them off the freeway on the way home. The gentleman and owner, I cant remember his name, was SO kind. He was patient and funny with my young kids, and then even offered to take us to the back where they make the goodies! After we bought some macaroons, we headed to the back where he showed us the freezer and let my kids load up on stuff. He gave each a bag and just started throwing stuff in their bags. I think they were rejects, but they sure tasted good to us! My kids were so happy. He showed them the giant mixers and told them a little about the process. He was such a gem and kind gentleman, and made my kids day because they got to see where the magic was made (and taste some of that magic!). This was a week ago and we still have treats for weeks.I just want the owner to know how much it meant to us for him to go out of his way, above and beyond his commitment to his customers, and make us feel special. His desserts are seriously delicious and quality, but his customer service and dedication to his customers is what will keep us coming back!

My son wants to say, Thank you so much and you deserve a 10 out of 5 stars! This place is a hidden gem in Avondale. Very fancy looking place with an amazing owner who was so kind to me and my son and even offered us a sample of his fine treats!

MAE is a wonderful, dangerous place! We had no idea such a treasure existed in Avondale until I spied the building sign as we took the new Fairway freeway exit.The man working inside took wonderful care of us as he explained the available flavors of bonbons and macarons. Mind you, this place isnt cheap--its an indulgence, and a worthwhile one. These are quality creations. The macarons are without question the best I have had in Arizona, and the amarena bonbons are small bites of pure bliss. We will definitely be back.

I was absolutely thrilled to learn that this company offered same day local delivery. After encountering multiple issues with a different macaron company, I realized the only way to get a treat to my mom in time for Mothers Day was to cross my fingers and hope to find a local company. MAE totally stepped up and Richie even called me personally when there was no answer at my moms door to find a way to ensure my she got her gift without it melting on her porch. Thank you!!

What an amazing way to honor an amazing woman. Rich has an exceptional company here. All quality goods. Macaroons are delicious and one can’t have just one—those flavors pop! I got my hands on the Gourmet Chocolate Bonbons Holiday Collection and I’m not quite sure I can explain the experience. They melt in your mouth as the delicate flavor is playing in the tastebuds and you get a little sad when it’s gone. My favorites were Egg Nog and Amaretto Dream but I also loved the Candy Cane—it’s hard to pick just one. Know that you are getting product made with love and passion and you can see it in the packaging as well. Amazing! So happy!!

Absolutely INCREDIBLE service and CHOCOLATE!!! I ordered these a little late for mothers day and they showed up WAY FASTER THAN EXPECTED!! I figured I would be lucky if I had them by the next friday but they were they on Monday and come to find out it was actually the UPS was to blame. Haha these guys are amazing. They even gave me credit for something that was not their fault. On top of it I love chocolate, who doesnt, but these were worth the money!! Affordable, great service, friendly, and DELICIOUS!! I am pretty sure it doesnt get better than that!! I would recommend Mae Fine Foods in Avondale, AZ to EVERYONE!! I will be ordering again for any excuse I can find!! ;)

Excellent customer service. While placing an order with MAE Fine Foods to send gift baskets to my Mom and some friends in the States for Christmas, I experienced a glitch in the ordering system since I was accessing the site from Canada. I called for assistance and Rich Elwell, the owner himself, answered the phone. When I explained to him the challenge on the site, he told me he would look into it and call me back. Within 15 mins, he called me back to tell me he had fixed the issue and we were good to go! Amazing! Their bonbons and macarons are works of art, both in presentation and taste. You will not be disappointed!
