Love love love JC Penneys!

I was able to find a couple of nice dress shirts that fit me very well, the gentleman that took care of me took some measurements and helped me find the shirts that fit so well. Ill go back and see if I can find a nice pair of dress slacks and maybe a tie or two. Overall, very well pleased with my experience.

I love shopping here. Its a great place to buy clothing for an older woman who doesnt want to look like an old lady but doesnt want to dress too young. They have great sales, great customer service, buying online and picking up in the store is quick, easy, and convenient. Returns are also quick and easy. And I love their spring clothes.

Decent selection of items - fairly broad but not very deep, at least as far as brands.I was specifically hoping to find some Nike shorts but as far as I can tell, they don’t carry Nike. That’s fine. That said, there really wasn’t a great pick for something as simple as athletic shorts beyond the most basic (cloth) or very 90’s looking, baggy basketball shorts.Ok, fine, they didn’t have the specific brands I happen to like, that’s not really the biggest strike against this particular location. The reason for two stars is the checkout experience.I’ve been here twice, once for an online pickup and again for a straightforward in-store purchase. After waiting in line for the online pickup, I was told to wait for the person to bring out my order in the vague area of the front of the store. It took about 10 minutes or so for someone to fetch my single item on a weekday evening - aka not exactly a hopping time.When I came in during the weekend, the line was crawling. They opened up another checkout at the Sephora desk, and invited customers to go. I was one of two fooling enough to follow the offer, rather than being 8th or so in line. Well after a 10 minute or so process of simply ringing up 10 items or so, removing hangers, and refolding of the items of the gentleman in front of me, I realized the error of my ways. In the end, I actually beat most of the people in the normal checkout… I can’t imagine how that happened.Long story short: if you aren’t in a hurry and don’t mind a basic selection of items, this store will meet those needs… and is at least clean and well lit.

Former employees @ JC Penny.. What happened to customer service ? The women @ jewelry counter with dark long hair an older women!!! ignored us ..not even a hi or hello someone will be with you. No she just kept ignoring us ! The nice younger girl working was done with her customer, took her a few minutes..we had to ask for help.. I was ready to walk out!! But she ended up being ok..then when ringing up our purchases..seeing our employee discount she was a little nicer..2 former employers of JC Penny.. Retired ..SO SAD WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS COME TO.. Be happy or go somewhere else and work..Seriously what happen to customer service!? I normally go to Sandusky, what a difference...Customer service is very important!!

Only shop there when I have the 50% off coupons. They no longer carry Nike products, they push Puma which I hate.

Not a single Tie,no suits for homecoming dances no employees to help on floor! No wonder why JcPenneys will go out of business

Nice store, it was clean and organized BUT my husband and I were ignored at the jewelry counter. We were walking by and noticed a necklace our daughter would love so we waited and waited but the man and woman behind the counter never acknowledged us. I guess they didn’t want our money.

Very clean quiet and welcoming I like that I hate going to a store thats so packed with people you have to scream to talk or you cant find an employee to help because they are off to the side chatting it up with one another and act as if they arent at work you wont get this here employees are around if you need them but not to close to where it feels uncomfortable to shop very things is clean and isles are kept up so items arent everywhere but where they go I like it and I definitely recommend

Looks like a ghost town

I went to pick up a order said it was delivered but the store claimed it wasnt. The sales worker was rude nasty and disrespectful. He was so unprofessional and judgemental. I called 2 other stores that said it was at avon crossing and the worker kept denying it i will never shop there again. Not the store i thought and ive shopped there plenty of times . But the sales rep is nasty and rude . So theyve lost my business

This is about their salon. I called first and asked if they could do 3 hair trim and a boys cut. They needed to check if that would work and told me go ahead and come in. I got my family ready, drove over, and got there just to be told to leave because they couldnt accommodate us. They said there were too many people. Ya,thats why I called first. What a waste of time. It shows poor management and management was rude. I probably would have shopped for all of us if it was a short wait or if I were happy with the results after our cuts. This is how you lose customers and sales.

I bought some dress shirts the other day because they were buy one get one free. Went back today to get some more because it was a good deal. They didn’t tell me I could only get one “free” shirt per transaction or per day and when I confusingly asked the cashier why it was so much she just said “the price is correct”I would have simply come back the next day to get two more shirts and saved a bunch of money.I just got a new job after being out of work and the savings would have really helped me.

Gross fitting rooms. Old dirt, huge dust bunnies etc. Shame! Not that hard to keep those clean.

I like the store, especially the big and tall selection. I do really wish we didnt have to walk through all the womens clothes just to get to everything else.

If you want your family photos done, go here. We had sixteen people and two dogs in our picture and I assumed we would be there an hour trying to get a good picture of all of us. She got a perfect one within two shots. Then she got excellent shots of all our respective groups, even my dogs. They knew how to make us look our best without blinking, funny faces or scowls, both kids and adults. We were done in a fraction of the time I expected. Definitely a great place to get your photos done.

I thought Id beat the Black Friday crowds by picking up my order on Thanksgiving Day. Wrong! Super crowded!But they had a Pick up your online order guy just inside the front door, and I had my stuff within a few minutes of my arrival.Some items I wanted werent available in the store but were available online! I found everything I wanted at a really good price

They dont have anything! They keep saying they are trying to get rid of old inventory to make room for new but nothing yet

Check out line was horrible. I waited about 30 minutes. Only 2 cashiers. One cashier was busy with same transaction during my entire wait. That poor customer! I was only the fifth person in line and I waited 30 minutes.

All I did was call this place and ask them how late they were there to take returns. the lady laughed when I told her that I had first inquired to a jcpenney 1800 # and she said shes never heard of that and then barked at me that wed have to look it up and told me dont come 5 minutes to 9 because its going to take longer to do than that never once did I suggest that was the time I was coming

Sentimentally, I wanted to have a good experience at JCPenney. As a kid I looked so forward to getting the JCPenney catalog every fall. Unfortunately, the brand has changed SO much over the years that its not recognizable at all. The service was incredibly slow at checkout, to the point that I almost left without completing my purchase. On the plus side, the sale prices, for the three items I purchased, were incredible.

Went to Sephora inside JCPenney and a lovely young lady named Veronique was so helpful. As far a the actual store I dont shop there that much anymore. You can not get phone service in there and I missed a very important call a while back due to the internet and phone block they have. Was not able to pull up my coupons either.

Store is back to normal, but they had only one check out open with one person working. Waited in line for over 10 minutes

ExpensiveNot a great selection of girls juniors or women’s department. Lacks fashion in styles.Went into then linens dept at 10 am they was only 3 styles of sheet sets out.The store was completely emptyNot a great trip for me.Lack of styles on shoes as well.Went in to get a few things for several people in family walked out with nothing in my hand.

Normally I love this location, but not great inventory today. Staff is always nice and helpful.

I bought items online to be picked up from the store, two hours later they emailed to say items are ready which was great. I had to wait for 30 minutes in cashier line to get my order which was ready!!

Terrible. JCPenney has removed the price scanners in their stores so you can interact more with employees good luck man. They have enough work to do.No cell phone service. Awful WiFi. Price never scan as they are marked at the tables. You can’t use the app to scan the prices.I forgot why I stopped coming here. I thought it could of been the dead duck that laid in the parking lot of months that no one moved or seemed to see.

It is very easy to find what I need when I go to JCPenny. Things are organized well and the displays are all so pretty. I can find what I need quickly and the employees are very friendly.
