I love the idea of being able to customize a gift basket and have it delivered! I was impressed with the selection and quality of items. I chose the items I wanted to include, put in the delivery address, and was told the minimum for my zip code was more than I was wanting to spend on the gift. This information should be clearly displayed at the beginning of the gift basket process not at the very end. I understand that drivers should be paid more for having to travel further but just an FYI it requires an additional 40 dollars for them to travel 2 more miles from 78749 ($35 min) to 78748 ($75 min). I sucked it up and filled the basket with more stuff to reach the minimum just to be charged a 10 dollar delivery fee on top of it all. Its a fun gift but if youre having it delivered to one of the three zip codes that require a higher minimum be prepared to spend a decent amount of money. After seeing the total compared to what it wouldve been if I was having it delivered 2 miles up the road I decided not to place my order.

Excellent service from start to finish! I loved being able to customize a gift box for my boyfriends birthday. At the very last minute I asked if the box could be delivered an hour earlier than originally requested (because he was leaving the office for lunch and I was worried he wouldnt be there when it delivered) and they delivered on time! My guy was bummed he was on the phone and couldnt personally thank the delivery guy, so whoever it was, THANK YOU! Will definitely be sharing my experience with my friends local and not -- I live in Houston and Couch Potato ATX made it super easy to send my love a quick surprise!

The customer service was so great! I had to change the delivery date and they made the change no problem. The day of the delivery, they texted the recipient to check if they’d be home and dropped it at their door according to their schedule. They texted me a pic of the item as it was delivered.

Best service ever! I have used them a few times to order wine for myself and also to send gift baskets to friends. Super cool local company. The owner is really nice and always answers the phone which I really appreciate.

Not sure why Google calls them a Gift Basket store. That’s incorrect! They deliver gift baskets, beer, snacks, smokes....Couch Potato ATX has saved me soooo many times. They’re local, so I’m happy to support them. However, since they are local, every now and then the deliveries will take a bit longer. Usually I’m cool with that; I’ll call and ask about ETA, and the owner is always very kind and explains why there’s a wait.Support your local businesses! Love this company! I dont live in Austin so theyre great for sending friends gift baskets as a thinking of you or little birthday treats! Ive had to call with questions and the staff is super helpful and friendly!

Took almost two hours to get here. What’s the point of a delivery service that takes that long? I could have gotten the items myself 5 times over in that timeframe. Called multiple times, no one answers. Goes to voicemail. Left voicemail, no one calls back. No way to cancel order online. Will not use again and definitely would not recommend.

So let me preface this review by saying I never leave reviews, even though I use all kinds of services constantly (I know - horrible), but this place beyond deserves one! I’m a food and beverage director and the prices are great, granted I’m in California, but seriously very happy with the prices and only a $5 delivery fee. Nice selection of goodies too. However, the kicker was the note that I added to the basket I ordered. See, I couldn’t attend my friends bachelorette party (f&*kin covid) and sent a gift to the house. I included a slightly vulgar note written phonetically (i.e. hey giiiirrrrrrl). Not only was the note handwritten (sorry about the vulgarity), but all the letters were included! Lol - talk about dedication. The whole process was easy and seamless. Thanks so much!

Worst delivery service ever, not due to lack of service or quality of products but because of how they pay and treat their employees in the ever so competitive Austin market! They do NOT pay their employees gas mileage, or any money towards tires, brakes, oil and normal wear n tear. Not to mention BENEFITS. Better off being a waiter or waitress and save your cars life.

I ordered a basket with goodies and beer with a balloon for my partners birthday and i accidently put the wrong adress. Couch potato was nice enough to call me and let me know it was the wrong adress and they delivered really fast. The basket was so cute. My hubby loved it. They even put a little card on it with what i wanted it to say. I definetly recomend them. Im defintly calling couch patato again.

2nd order: Just wanted a 6 pack but had to get a 12 pack and some gatorade for min. delivery. Beer is way nasty (heated, cooled, ruined since Sept 2014, seriously?) and I asked for lemon-lime gatorade - got 1 of those and 4 other flavors Ive never even heard of. At least the clueless guy left me an HEB recycle bag. Be cautious/desperate for this service. (1st delivery was great, this 2nd one .... wretched).
