Ordered new touch screen for my extra Dell Inspiron laptop and replaced the cracked screen that was getting worse. The old screen evidently wasnt a touch screen or it had quit working. Followed instructions on Youtube video on removing old screen then installing new screen and it was a lot easier than I had thought it would be. When I turned it on for the first time the touch screen wasnt working at first but after it ran for a while it must have installed the correct drivers for the screen because it started working. The new screen came in sooner than tracking stated it would and I was very pleased with the service the Parts-People gave me and would suggest them for Dell parts especially since they are in Austin Texas. I give them a 10 .

He was very trustworthy and kind, which are important for people like me who are clueless about computers. I cant speak highly enough of him and of his company. After try some generic and easily dispossable chargers I found the original one for my Dell Vostro 5470 that works great at a very reasonable price, the only pricey thing was the shipping cost because Im in other country, but it worth.

Feels more like a computer junk yard that ship whatever is lying around without any QA.Ordered components to build lcd display assembly, but what I received was not even buildable as individual components missing internal screws or ribbon connector latches (bezel).Cant tell brand new items are really new when they are missing pieces on arrival. Feels refurb being marked up as new.Customer service is slow to respond.Online tutorials reference supposedly needed items to purchase, but actually include those that are completely unnecessary (i.e. WWAN card?).

Ive ordered twice this month, first to fix a case issue and then an LCD screen (that I accidentally tweaked fixing the first issue). Ive shipped in the same Dell laptop all the way from Alvin, TX 3 times already (my kids are clumsy -_-) What I love about these people is their integrity. The last two times, there has only been a wire that has disconnected from behind the screen. I feel like anyone else could easily take advantage and say I need a screen replacement. The consignment was well packaged and also received on time but, despite the refurbished label, the part (laptop LCD lid) actually had a damaged WiFi antenna wire. I had to actually salvage the same from my old LCD lid in order to make everything work. Since Im based in India, shipping it back for a replacement (if theres a provision, that is) is practically not feasible.Overall purchase experience was good, this unprecedented damage on a refurb exempted.

Okay, Ill succumb to a product delivery confirmation - response requested by clicking - and since this is a review site, will give my review.This part came in a timely manner - slow because it is the Christmas season and package handlers are overwhelmed, and it is still sitting in the box because the children are out of school and I dont have time to take a laptop completely apart just to replace something at the very bottom of the stack of components exuberance of post-Christmas partiers underfoot.I havent even looked at the part. I havent cleaned a spot in the house where I can set pieces of the laptop during the quick phase of repair (or per normal, the continual interruption phase of attempting a methodical repair in a house occupied by others with their own agendas conflicting my time and space) or even be assured that everything will remain in close proximity.I must give Parts-People credit, their product has been great in the past and I feel certain once I have the time and space to replace this practically destroyed keyboard, it will fit perfectly and work as intended. Cant complain about Parts-Peoples products! They are awesome. If only they could ship time and space to work uninterrupted with their product.

I was a happy camper until FedEx knocked on my door and handed me an invoice for customs and some advancement fee. Parts people should include a note or disclaimer about this for international orders. Having said that, even with the extra FedEx charges, their price was still below their competitors.

My refurb E5550 laptop arrived earlier than promised and has worked perfectly out of the box. The only issue was the almost four hours it took for all the Windows updates to install.

From Canada - I needed to find an old Dell Inspiron Keyboard 9400 (French Canadian) ver. Thankfully this place had exactly what I needed at a fair price (though be advised shipping is expensive if you can swallow the fee its worth it). These guys had a power supply from an old Dell computer that Discount Electronics didnt have in stock. I was able to have it shipped and it arrived the next day which was great. When I went to install the power supply it turned out that one of the connectors (to the CD drive) had a broken off piece of another connector stuck in it. I spent about an hour trying to get the broken connector off out of it with no luck. We never use the CD drive so I just left it unplugged.This was a bit annoying. When I ordered on the phone no one mentioned that this was a used component. In my opinion the price was a bit high for a used part... especially one that isnt full usable as-is.Ill probably use them again if they have parts for older machines arent really available knowing things might not be perfect.
