I had an amazing experience getting my computer fixed here. Parking was very easy -- they have a free parking garage and free street parking. Service was extremely quick, only took 2 days to fully fix my computer, and the men who worked there were very kind! They also always pick up the phone after a few rings which I found so helpful! So happy I found this place! I recommended 10/10!They fixed my MacBook Pro 2017 screen, keyboard, and speakers and after fixing it, it felt like a brand new computer! They did a phenomenal job!

I took in my iphone x last week to get the battery replaced. Ive been trying to make it last as long as I can and the only thing wrong with it was the battery. Less than 24 hours after picking it up, my display started acting funny and glitching out. I took it back to them and they told me it was unrelated to what they had done to replace the battery the day before. I said screw it and took it directly to the apple stores genius bar. They were able to confirm it was likely related and needed to replace my entire display. Luckily, my display was still covered under warranty but this would have been a ~$300 charge to get it fixed normally. At the very least, I feel like I should get my money back from compuzone

I highly recommend Compuzone.They were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I walked in with my sad Mac and they provided me with options of what to do. Apple made the appointment since I could not get into Genius Bar. I am so glad I was referred to Compuzone. No wait and I walked out of the store with an Awesome experience and a New Mac.

Wonderful little store! They have everything an Apple store has but more. Rasaad was able to help me locate a brand new hard-to-find discontinued Mac unit. Fair pricing and great customer service. Social Distancing observed by all employees. I look forward to shopping with them and bringing my older MacBook Pro and Cinema Display units in for maintenance.

I needed a quick check of my power adapter for my macbook pro to make sure it wasnt damaged before I sent it off to be replaced by Apple. Apple called this store to make sure it would be a waiting appointment. He said he was told that that was the case and in fact they werent very busy, so you can actually stop by before the appointment and they would be happy to verify the charger works or doesnt work. Last Friday I called before I headed that way that I was still able to do that. He said to come on by. I get there and they try checking my computer in for over the weekend! When I told them I had called to verify and that Apple had done the same he said oh no, we would never have said that. It was an utter waste of time for something that should have been a quick and easy diagnosis.In response to their response. This was not the reason given. They said that they are just too busy and I must have misheard them. When I said they said the same thing to Apple, they said I dont know why because we never do this and never would say that to them.

The screen on my Macbook went out a few weeks ago. They fixed the screen and got my computer back to me within 2 days (much quicker than Apple couldve done) and they waived my diagnostic fee. They were also really friendly and helpful. I will absolutely be returning to Compuzone for any future repair needs and would recommend Compuzone to any of my friends, as well.

Look no further. Compuzone was awesome to work with. They discussed all of the options with me on replacing the keyboard on my MacBook Pro. They were very patient with all of my questions. MUCH MORE HELP than the Apple Store. They are Apple Certified so they can do warranty work. They backed up my data for a very reasonable fee and my Mac now types better than new.

I picked up my laptop today from Compuzone and after their work on it, it is better than it ever was before! I chose them because they are Apple certified and because of their glowing reviews. They did not disappoint! Very friendly service and superb workmanship. I am so grateful for them and their ability to bring my computer back from the dead. Great experience - repaired my MacBook Pro 2015 and has very good prices - cheaper than the Genius Bar at the Apple Store!They even helped check if there was any recalls for any of my parts, such as the battery or the screen, that they could help me replace free of charge.

Absolute worst customer service I’ve dealt with in a long time. I understand and respect adhering to social distancing guidelines during this global pandemic. It’s more important now than ever to make appointments rather than just show up to public locations that provide important services for customers. That being said, I appreciate the sign on Compuzone’s front door saying that only two customers will be allowed to enter the store at a time. Although I had an appointment at 12:20pm and I arrived on time, I was not able to enter the store yet due to 2 customers already being inside. The doors were locked as well, so even if I had wanted to be ignorant and rude and ignore the social distancing guidelines, I wouldn’t have been able to enter. At that point, I called the store to let them know I was in fact on time for my appointment and he acknowledged that he had seen me waiting outside. I waited outside in my mask in 98 degree Texas heat for 20 minutes before I was finally allowed inside. After waiting another 10 minutes to be helped, two other customers barged into the store asking for immediate help (obviously the door hadn’t been locked after I entered and they disregarded the signs on the door). Rather than telling these new customers that I had been waiting for half an hour now to be helped, the male employee at Compuzone glanced over at me and continued to help the other customer until I reminded him my appointment was scheduled for 30 minutes prior. He then talked to me for maybe 60 seconds to address what I had scheduled the appointment for. Upon realizing I actually had questions about the repairs that would be done and needed to discuss some issues before leaving my laptop with him for a week plus, he left me at the front of the store to go to the counter and address the other 2 customers (one of which wasn’t even supposed to be in the store under the social distancing guidelines set). Quality of work is very important especially in the tech industry, but so is common sense, respect, and customer service. After being shown a complete lack of respect as a customer, I left the store without having the repairs done. With Apple stores being closed right now and this location being my only option for a repair, I don’t know when I’ll be able to have the work done to fix my laptop. I recommend anyone else seeking repair work for an Apple product just wait until the Apple stores in Texas have reopened if possible. Although Compuzone is designated an “Apple Authorized Service Provider”, the quality of service here is clearly not up to par with Apple. Not only was the customer service awful, in the little time the employee tried to address my repair issue, he told me information that directly about conflicted with what I had been told by an Apple employee just over a month ago.

Owner of the store was super nice and helped me with my iPhone problems. Ultimately it was a hardware issue, so he diagnosed the problem free of charge so I knew what to do next. Really friendly and helpful, would trust them with any of my apple products!

The team at Compuzone reset my IPad Pro for me. I had previously took the computer to another repair service which was not able to perform the reset, charged me monies and then refunded the monies. Compuzone has a professional and courteous staff who completed the reset within an hour...they got it right the first time and their service fee was less monies. Actually the service experience was so good, I will probable purchase my next computer from Compuzone.

Horrible place. I came here with a computer that suffered water damage, the Compuzone claimed that my camera, mic, and wifi are broken and offered to replace them for over $600. I took back my computer and turned it on - everything works.

All apple stores are currently closed! I contacted apple a million times and honestly they were no help! BUT Nithin at Campuzone, Fixed my MacBook Air, repair was so quick and easy! Took it in on a Friday and he called me on Thursday letting me know it was ready. Totally recommend! They do work with Apple, so if you have apple care they’ll work with you as if you were inside the apple store.Thank you Compuzone!

I broke the screen on my MacBook Pro, and took it to CompuZone. The process was extremely efficient all the way from scheduling my appointment online (through Apples website), to dropping off the computer, to the service being complete. Took my 2018 MacBook Pro here to have the e and the spacebar keys fixed from an Apple manufacturing issue. Upon picking my laptop back up after the repair I noticed there was a scratch on the front of my MacBook. I have had it in a protective cover since day 1 and am very very careful with my computer. I am POSITIVE that scratch was not there before drop off but the worker tried to convince me it was probably just my fingernail that scratched it and basically blew me off. I was already scared to bring my computer here instead of a real Apple store but being Apple is closed until further notice I didn’t have much of a choice. Now I regret not waiting for Apple to open back up, I wouldn’t trust them with your Apple products.

Prompt and quick with service. Frustrated when I was told there was a $50 diagnostic fee that would be applied to my total and then upon pick up was told it was not due to only a battery needing to be replaced. So, ask more questions and clarify costs up front.

Awesome small local business, they really understand Macs and I will go here everytime going forward for new or repairs! They are really helpful and willing to look at your product and try to help without setting up a formal service charge, these guys are amazing and I would highly recommend them!

This place is truly the hallmark of a great local small biz. They were very attentive to my need and allowed for an exception that never couldve happened at the Apple store. Once they got the parts the turnaround was a few hours. I never write reviews on Google but feel like need to give these guys a shoutout. If you are downtown go for these guys for your Mac needs - no need to drive out to the edge of town for an Apple store.

The place was great for the repair job. I took my MB pro in and a fast turnaround, honest people and no BS. The guy at the front counter was laid back and helpful. Their tech Shiv was great, took care of things and kept in good contact via phone to let me know status of the ordered part, etc Took about 4 days to take care of it in total.

Make sure you’re certain that you won’t be returning your Apple product to these guys as they will charge you a 15% fee for bringing it back (unless it’s faulty of course)For peace of mind you’re far better off getting any Apple product from the Apple Store which will accept returns and give a full refund.The finances here seem a little bit shoddy as well - my reduced refund had to be collected by check the next day as they weren’t able to refund the payment into the cards I purchased them on.My advice - steer well clear and go to the Apple Store where you’ll pay exactly the same price anyway

They were so welcoming and patient when I explained what happened to my laptop. I took the laptop in to them on Monday, and they got it fixed by Tuesday. They would have got it fixed earlier if they did not have to get the part from Apple! I will be recommending CompuZone to all my Mac owner friends. :)

This place is greattttttttt! My keyboard was dying on my mac. Problem, of course, was that I needed my mac to work. Since turnaround times can be long at the Apple Store, I needed an alt. The fine people at Compuzone were friendly and courteous, as well as extremely efficient and professional. In no time at all I was set up with a rental, and they had my computer fixed in less than two days. I will be coming here from now on and you should, too!

A great place to have a Mac system worked on, especially if living anywhere downtown in Austin. Theyve done excellent work on two of my MacBook Pro systems over the years without any problems. Very convenient to ride my bike over, drop it off and pick it up when repaired.

These guys dont know how to fix Mac, I have been there multiple times to fix my iMac that was crashing when final cut pro was being used. I paid them to check, they said they fixed everything and tested. After a week of using it, the issue came back. I called them, they asked me to pay again if they want to check. Stay away from this place.

Just walked in and no wait. Explained to the older fella that the MacBook appeared dead. He called in a young fellow from the back to work with me. He hooked up a diagnostic and figured out the battery still had a lot of life left but just needed a good long charge. No charge and very pleasant! Im sending friends there!

The only place to buy Apple products in Austin! They are so knowledgeable. Unlike the Apple stores, you arent waiting with a gazillion others to get service. They answer questions without making you feel stupid. Their service is amazing when you encounter difficulties, or think there might be something wrong with your computer, iPhone, iPad..... They also offer one on one classes that make you feel like an expert after you have completed them.

My Macbook Pro is slightly old (2009 edition) so after going to the Apple store, I wasnt surprised when they told me I needed a hard drive bracket to get my computer in good working condition again, which would cost around $150. I looked at reviews of a few places and decided to come here and am so incredibly happy with my choice! They did a diagnostics on my computer and realized a hard drive bracket was not what I needed but instead that it was the new software update which had crashed my computer. Compuzone was able to upgrade my RAM for a great price and get my computer back to like new condition! So thankful for Michael and the team here!

After my iMac just shut down, I had been told by the Apple Center at the mall that I would probably need to just buy a new IMac (aprox. $2300.00!)I then called Apple Help and asked for areferral to a independent Apple service center and one of their recommenditions was CompuZone. I was able to get in quickly. When I arrived Eric actually came to my car and helped me get my computer into the store! He listened to my explination of what was going on before it shut down and was fairly positative he would be able to repair it even though it is 5 years old (ancient by Apple standards!)..he called me later THAT day and explained what was wrong and that the total cost to repair it would be $375.00! The repair was completed the next day! I an so happy with their PERSONAL, CARING service! I was able to comfortably sit and talk to and ask questions of the technicians! I will never go anyware else for any of my computer repairs.

EDIT: The store manager followed up a few times. I didnt call back initially because I felt like Id said my peace about the matter. He was persistent, however, and we spoke about my issue. He explained the situation and refunded me the diagnostic fee given the situation. I feel like it was a very admirable show of good faith. Ive adjusted my rating accordingly. Ive left the original review below. I was not trying to bully a business into giving me a refund. Likewise Im not trying to be a shill and change my review from bad to good because of a refund. I do however respect the way the shop handled the situation and think the experience should be known in full--to me it shows this business really does care about correcting a wrong. TLDR; Had a bad experience. The store went out of their way to correct it. My rating went from a 1 star to a 4 star based on the managers professionalism.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Called up looking for a mac repair place that had logic boards for my old but beefed up MacBook Pro since they are hard to come by now. They said bring it in. Get there and very slick storefront with nice staff. Said it was $50 for them to check it out. They would be able to get a used or referb one but unlikely a new one. The $50 would go towards the work. Im ok with that. Call me up a few hours later and say they were in fact not able to find anything at all despite what they said on the phone and at the store. Ok fine. Go in and have to pay $50 for work they werent even capable of doing. What the heck. Its not like I backed out or changed my mind--I wanted the work done! They literally were not capable of completing their end of the transaction. They could have just told me over the phone instead of wasting my time and ripping me off! Im sure they knew OR it would have been easy enough to figure out but instead they tricked me into coming in to lift a quick $50 off me. I specifically asked if they would be able to get a logic board since two stores could not. On the phone they acted like they had some in stock! Not happy with the experience and would not recommend. Feel ripped off. I should have said something but was shocked they were still charging me for their shortcomings and didnt want to make a scene in front of my daughter and embarrass her. I would not recommend this place after getting swindled out of $50 for a repair they couldnt complete.
