This candy was gifted to me and my wife and we were definitely blown away by the unique flavors and awesome molding and colors of each individual chocolate, this was a 4oz. box with 9 mini chocolate pcs. If your looking to gift this to family or a special someone they will love each and every bite. Much respect from chicago to Texas!

The artwork on the outside and the inserts were cleverly designed, gorgeous, just adorable, you can tell a lot of attention to detail and hand work went into creating this perfect celebratory item. Product presentation is magnificent.My gift set included the following four jewel shaped chocolates:Dark Chocolate + Strawberry Crisp: Red in color with a touch of gold leaf. The strawberry flavor is pronounced and bold, the mouthful is sweet and overpowering however the strawberry crisps inside gives this treat a really nice chew.White Chocolate + Chocolate Caramel + Sea Salt: Solid Powder Blue in color. The white chocolate has a rich vanilla flavor. The Chocolate caramel and sea salt was difficult to distinguish due to the high sweetness taste of the chocolate. Could not quite taste the caramel except for a few hints of the caramel, kind of Smokey however the sweetness of the chocolate taste overpowered it once you start to chew it.Milk Chocolate + Peanut Butter Candy: Solid Lime green in color. The peanut butter is soft and intense, the inside has fun sweet toffee that are super crispy and fun to chew.Milk Chocolate + Espresso Cream + Cacao Nibs: Hot pink with a touch of gold leaf on top. The milk chocolate against the Espresso cream and the crispy cacao nibs was very tasty.

While the chocolates themselves are beautiful and delicious, I am frustrated with the online order delivery process. I have ordered 3 of the largest boxes for gifts. Order #1 was delivered as requested the Tuesday prior to Thanksgiving. Order #2, placed the same day/time as #1, was not delivered on Tuesday, I got no notification of delay, and I had to call and investigate before it was shipped out for arrival the Wed before Thanksgiving. OK, things happen, its a busy time of year for retailers. Then yesterday I got notice that order #3 had shipped. I requested that it arrive on/before DEC 20!!! It shipped THREE WEEKS EARLY. It is a gift for family to enjoy on Christmas Eve and will now be sitting around for nearly a month. I may order for birthday gifts, but I will never order again for holiday delivery - they just arent ready for that yet.UPDATE: I was contacted by MLC and they pulled back the order that was shipped early, explaining that they had a SW issue causing some orders to be entered without the deliver-by date. They refunded my money, and then shipped the item for free at the correct time. It arrived in great shape, packaged beautifully, and it was reported to me that the candies were both beautiful and delicious. I dont know how they could have handled the issue I had better.

Order arrived in a melted mess. You would think in the summer you would ship overnight with your ice pack, especially with your 15$ shipping charges. Emails to the concierge are worthless, calling is not much better as they rarely pick up the phone. I have been waiting for my credit card refund for many days now and still nothing. I would avoid this place and buy locally.

While there are some really clever themes, the chocolate quality about what you’d expect from Ghirardelli. They look great in the pictures, but the taste isn’t memorable. You only really have 3 filling flavors to choose from and they come in white chocolate, dark chocolate, and milk chocolate. For the price, I expected more.

My sister loved the birthday chocolates that I ordered for her. I was worried that they werent going to be delivered to her in Los Angeles on time as theyre busy getting ready for Mothers Day, but they managed to get it sent out. Its always a struggle to get things delivered to my sister for her birthday since its so close to Mothers Day, and many places tend to prioritize their orders and fulfill those holiday orders before others (not adhering to the first come first serve concept). Again, Im glad that they were delivered timely.

I really found these chocolates underwhelming. They are overly sweet and the taste is not great especially for the price. They did arrive in a week and they look cute, but I prefer a more delicious to look ratio.

I ordered my mother a box of gold chocolates for Valentines Day after seeing the store in Glamour magazine. They not only arrived right on time, with overnight shipping, but were beautifully wrapped and carefully placed in the box. I was also pleased to see that the note I was allowed to include was not just typed on a slip of paper and shoved in, but was hand written on a beautiful card.I am thrilled with the order and cant wait for more occasions to try everything!

This place is magic! Love the atmosphere of the storefront! Coming to Austin from now on to order versus ordering online. They package your chocolates so carefully and make sure to get everything you request. Definitely was able to hook up people with mothers day treats without worry.

Although the chocolates are beautiful, I am so disappointed with their shipping. I ordered this as a surprise for my daughter at college for Valentine’s Day. It arrived the day after Valentine’s day. If you can’t delivery on time, please do not promise that it will be delivered by Valentine’s Day. What is the point of sending gift the day after? The mood is gone. When I called them, they said weather delayed. That area snows all the time and the school was not even closed. I am pretty sure FedEx still deliver that day and it just not my package. If it is for a wedding, imagine all the chocolates arrive the day after the wedding. Very unhappy and disappointed!

My sister bought some chocolates here for her wedding and they were great! I actually came in to see about getting hired for their packaging season, but they were pretty rude/dismissive. To top it off, the owner started yelling at her husband while there were clients in store. This was around valentines day, so maybe it was stress, but definitely not the most professional people here. Seems like they only have their customer service hats on when richer clients come in. Space is gorgeous though, so congrats to whoever did that.

We have decided to give them a second chance and things are going well so far.These chocolates are AMAZING to look at and eat. However, the team at Maggie Louise has the WORST customer service we have encountered. We have been trying to work with them for over a year and have come up against obstacle after obstacle with this company. They put on a good show with all of the options they have to offer and things they are willing to do but when it comes to carrying those things out or working with clients the follow through is lacking. We’ve been told we “we want to make sure we are the right gifting partner by you” by Valerie one of the supervisors. The turnover is very high as well. You will request to talk to someone other than Valerie and they are gone before you can call them back. No one will let you talk to Maggie Louise so that she can be made aware of problems.We aren’t a huge company but would send these to quite a few business associates and referrals that could be potential customers for Maggie Louise. Apparently excellent customer service is not a priority here. The final straw was they sent the wrong box of chocolates to someone. We called to have it taken care of and were told the correct one would be shipped. It still has not been arrived more than two weeks later. These chocolates are not inexpensive and would be worth the price if the attitude and dedication came through in ways beyond the chocolates. After a year of trying and giving them every opportunity to improve and work out we are done trying.

I went to pick up a box of chocolates for a birthday gift. The sales lady was friendly. Each time I asked about a particular box, she would say, I dont have any more of those. Finally, I asked her just what did she have. 2 different boxes, neither of which was particularly appropriate. I bought one of them. The boxes are themed and pieces cant be switched out. They were out because they were so busy making chocolate boxes in the back for the Jr. League Christmas Affair. But unwilling to make up a box for a customer standing there...So if you are looking for something custom, this is not the place. Oh, and the box that the recipient opened was not the one Id chosen, it was a thanksgiving theme.

This was the WORST experience. I ordered 9 gifts for the holidays and NONE of them will arrive in time, despite the fact that I was emailing with their concierge to assure timely delivery. In addition, nobody responded to my second email trying to confirm nor did anyone reach out to let me know. I had to call them. Terrible customer service.

Over promise and under deliver.I ordered their Xmas chocolates as a trial run to consider them as one of my vendors for 3 events. But I must say it was disappointing.If the chocolates were not beautiful, I would not have given them a 2 star at all! I ordered 6 boxes of chocolates Dec 6 and the best option for shipping and delovery was 5 to 7 business days hence I had to take it. considering I would still be in town to deliver the chocolates to friends. I waited for a few days for my shipping info but nothing came through. Customer service wrote me back aftee I left a voicemail inquiring my order and someone named Armi said my order would be delovered no later than Dec 17. I waited and on Dec 18 I called again, wrote in their supposed livechat as well as emailed them asking for my ordered to be refunded. That late afternoon a lady named Crystal said my order would arrive dec 19 saying that I would receive an email with the tracking nukber. I finally got a tracking a few hours prior to delivery. So i looked, MY ORDER WAS NOT SHIPPED UNTIL DEC 18!!!!! very unprofessional. Forget about speaking to a real person on the phone or on live chat, it is impossible to reach anyone until they decide it is time to call you back! I will not be ordering anything from them for my upcoming events.

I ordered a Mothers Day gift on the 9th to be delivered by the 11th since it was at a place of business. I receive a phone call at 2:30 on the 11th that they could not find the location to I have a different address for delivery on Saturday. The address given to them was a church there is no any possible way it could not be delivered. I called the person to get there home address which spoiled the surprise and provided this business with the address. I received an email with a tracking number that is not working and the address on the delivery is to the Church. The chat online is off and they will not speak to me since online orders are only open Mon-Fri even though the store is open today! This has been a horrible experience and has ruined a womans mothers day gift!
