Went to try on and buy a dress for my sons wedding. They were helpful but a bit stand offish. Not very nice about finding my size. Also not really any dresses in my size. They did call around and find one closer to my size. The alterations Lady was very helpful, cheerful and kind. She assured me that she could make the alterations needed. The larger dress arrived in just a few days and I will be taking it to be altered soon.

This place was amazing!! I drove 2 hours to go to this store and I had an awesome stylist!!! I went with the first dress I put on and was able to get it altered exactly how I wanted it! I would definitely recommend this store to anyone looking for a dress!!!!

The staff there from the front greeters to the alterations department are always super nice and helpful. I always have questions and they always answer them. Today I went in on a Saturday for a alterations fitting, they were busy — but still super friendly and that says a lot.Update: I had my final fitting today and the alterations department manger was the lady that helped me. Her name is Rebecca, she is literally the most helpful and friendliest person!!! She helped me quite a few times with my dress there.I really recommend that store!! The dresses are very pretty and the alterations department did a great job!!Place is easy to locate and lots of parking.

I went in to find a dress for my bonus daughters wedding. Sara helped me she went above and beyond. She spent an hour and forty minutes with me. I left without a dress, but it was not for lack of Sara trying to help me decide. She was so sweet and kind. Ill be going back on Saturday to retry one of the dresses with one of my daughters. It was as good an experience as you can have shopping. Lol

I went in for a fitting, needed to add some things and felt very overwhelmed. Vanessa, Rebecca (I think is her name) in alterations and one of the male managers were amazing. They reassured me, helped find solutions to what I was wanting, and helped me find the most cost effective way to complete my dress. Their kindness is unmatched and feel so thankful for all their expertise and help!

This location fitted me with a beautiful bridesmaids dress for my best friends wedding! Cat was wonderful, sized the dress well and explained everything in detail. Alma handled my request for an extra tall and was so nice the entire time, and she gave me a ton of valuable information on alterations for when the dress comes in. Highly recommend this location!

Went dress shopping for my friends wedding, the stylist was so sweet and knowledgeable and had a great eye! She was also so kind and patient with our party; we had 6 babies under 2 years old. Our experience at Davids Bridal was fantastic! My daughter was nervous and had no idea what she wanted. We explained to the assistant what she was looking for. We picked several dresses that she liked. Tried on many and then the assistant brought out this beautiful Vera Wang dress and to top it off it was on sale! We all loved it and Alora picked it! We walked in to this location to get my daughter a formal dress for an upcoming formal event. We were immediately met at the door and had a few minutes to wait for a stylist. We were paired up with Madison and she was AMAZING!! She went out of her way to make sure we found what we needed and I can say it was well worth the drive to come to this location!

Went in to get a new Maid of Honor dress after a chain of events that is unimportant to this review. We were helped by Christina, and she was absolutely wonderful - took into account everything i was saying, very kind and helpful in dress selection. Went in hoping that I would not have to worry about having my size (18W) and the style of dress for my senior recital. Kambria, picked up ones that I had saw on the rack and some others and hit it right on the head on the perfect style for me. Alma (Austin Arboretum location) was amazing! The store only had one leaf comb accessory. Alma patiently called around to a few stores and found two more; one was in Albuquerque! Shes energetic and gave me some tips on how to get the perfect veil. Shes great!

The staff at this Davids Bridal are amazing! From the door, I was greeted and attended! I had a unique situation where my original dressmaker cancelled two weeks before the wedding. I called Davids Bridal to see if they still had the dress I tried on months ago and they did! The manager was extremely helpful, especially with calming down a frantic bride. I fit the dress exact right off the shelf so only the bra cups needed to be measured. I had a very nice alterations lady that was very professional and managed to finish the alterations in almost 2 hours! Given how short a time I gave DB, I would recommend them for their customer service and positive vibes!

I was there this morning with my daughter, Cristal and I cant remember the last time I received such OUTSTANDING service. Cat, or her real name Katherine Powell is just fantastic...She had a wonderful energy about her and fantastic recommendations and endless patience...She pulled tons of dresses for Crissy to try on and made sure each one was clipped and fitted great...She even pulled every accessory we could use, from foundations to hair accessories. We ended up purchasing everything, including the perfect dress that we would never have thought of, and it is such a relief to have that all put to bed! We were both stressing about it and Katherine could not have been better at making us comfortable...it was lots of fun..Thank you so much, she said how much she loved her job and it showed!!! There was also another young woman working helping others who was also very nice, I dont remember her name, she had a ponytail and her hair cut really short on the side...anyway Im assuming they are on commission, but these two worked together beautifully, they really complemented each other...great staff...well done...many thanks again!

Such a lovely visit! This was my third stop looking for a wedding dress. From the moment we walked in the door I felt welcomed and comfortable. Vanessa was incredible and I could tell she was really listening to my feedback. When I tried on my 4th dress that morning I was in tears (of happiness) because I knew I’d found the dress for me! My wedding is in just 3 months, so we have a pretty tight deadline for alterations, but the team worked quickly and was able to find a dress in my size that I’ll be able to have fitted in 2-3 weeks. Super positive experience, and I love all the mirrors! I came into pick up my under garment for my dress and get the remaining things for my wedding dress and Jo-Nathan assisted me the whole time. When I first tried on my dress a month ago I didn’t get all the stuff at once but I took pictures so I wouldn’t forget what I needed for my dress. When I came back, JO-Nathan helped me and not only that but he was very knowledgeable on the items he helped save me money as well on my veil! And I stuck within my budget of spending. The veil I originally tried on at the fitting a month ago was $400 and I didn’t know that until I came back to purchase it. That was way out my budget but Jo-Nathan helped me find another beautiful veil that was a quarter of that price and I was able to get everything I needed for my wedding dress! I’m so happy I was able to get everything I wanted and not over spend! He was awesome! Excellent customer service I would definitely recommend working with JO-Nathan if you visit this David’s bridal!

My experience with David’s Bridal was so good! I felt like a true bride there and the consultant, Vanessa, made sure to ask about my vision and delivered with her picks and accessories. She made the experience personal and meaningful and asked me about my fiancé and my family which made me feel like she truly cared and was attentive throughout the whole appointment. I am a new breastfeeding mom and she even opened up a changing room for me so that I could nurse my baby while I was there as well. I would most definitely recommend David’s Bridal to any bride.

While it was very busy, Erica listened to what I wanted and brought beautiful choices. To my surprise, I put on something that I would have never chosen myself and I feel for the dress! I left with a dress ordered and a beautiful pair of shoes. I got the dream all under budget!!

Lauren was the absolute BEST! She was so sweet and helpful. I’m so happy that she helped me find my dress so fast! I was pretty nervous about this experience because my wedding is in 1 month so I wasn’t sure how quickly I could find my wedding dress! I had it in my car within 2 hours! Shoes, veil, the wedding dress, and belt came home with me !!!! She made the experience very special for me.

My recent experience getting my bridesmaid dress altered went really well. Even when the first store I contacted did not have availability for a rush order, they recommended and connected me to the closest store that did. They did a beautiful job on the hem of the dress and it fits well. However, I am not a fan of the cups. With the upcharge for them, I expected them to be more like the placement of cups in a swimsuit or sportsbra, but it was only attached with a few stitches to the inner, outside layer. Im not a seamstress, so this might be the norm, but I doubt I will pay for cup additions next time. Regardless, I will be back for more alterations and probably more bridesmaids dresses in the future. They are reasonably priced and do a good job.Thank you!

I had such a great experience at Davids Bridal gateway location. My appointment to look at and try on dresses was with Vanessa and she was absolutely wonderful. I went into the store alone not knowing what I wanted or what to even expect. Vanessa made me feel super comfortable and guided me through the entire process.Because I am so darn short I needed my dress altered. I had another appointment with Luz who is incredibly talented. She too made me feel very welcomed and comfortable. We talked some during the fitting and she is a kind and warm lady who reminded me of my mom who was unable to be there.

Today I had my wedding dress altered at Davids bridal. Song Li was very professional and personable as she explained the whole process while she worked to tailor my dress to fit perfectly! I really appreciate the care that went into the alteration process. I highly recommend using their service.

This review is specifically regarding their tailoring department. I fell in love with my wedding dress at Davids, but they did not have my size. With my wedding coming before they could get my size, I decided to take it in at Davids. The tailor who originally worked on my dress made it too short and brought the dress in to where it was too tight to sit down, and bunched in the middle. I was very upset and worried that they werent going to work with me. I was afraid I would need a whole new dress. To my surprise, Davids took it back to fix. This time, a woman named Nahid helped me. Let me tell you, this woman is an EXPERT! When you go there, I highly suggest that you ask for her. She noticed that the second tailor I was working with was, once again, taking it in in all of the wrong places. Also, the second tailors solution for the midsection bunch was to add a bridal belt! I thought my dress was ruined. Nahid took out these other pins, and said she would be working on it herself. At that point I wasnt even able to zip it up or sit down. You could also completely see my feet when length wasnt an issue before it was taken in. She fixed e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g. She made my dress look more beautiful than it did on the model. I was so, so relieved! Again, Nahid is a genius and master of her craft. If you want your dress to be perfect on your big day, go to her!

Vanessa was such a wonderful helper loved her. I was able to find my dress with such ease I’m so happy she was our stylist. Will definitely come back for any other occasion.

Went it an got help from a very nice young lady NoeGot a call a little before saying she would have to handle 3 costumers all at once and to have patience. Went in and began looking as she helped someone else. Loved the fact she split her time among us and the other 2 costumers evenly. Wonderful experience once other 2 costumers were done she came and dedicated all time to us. She was helping us by bringing different things to try with the dresses. She in fact brought the dress chosen by the bride. Dispute the fact how late it was we never felt rushed and always wonderful help. We rang the bell and took pictures.Wonderful service 10/10 recommend loved Noe!!

I went there today and as soon as I walked in I found THE dress. I didn’t think I would but I ended up finding the perfect one. My initial thought was that I wouldn’t be able to find a dress in such a short amount of time before my wedding(6weeks) but Kat was such an amazing person to help me find the perfect dress. Im more disappointed about coming here now, then I was before. I felt like an inconvenience the first time I walked in here, then I felt like a price tag, now I feel like Im nothing... We reached an agreement about the other two feelings and I bought the dress I needed... When I had questions and doubts about how something was done to the dress I was shrugged off and thought of no further. My dress needs repairs already, I tried it on once. I was told oh its made that way... Then why has it fallen apart? I go to hang it up and clasp it on the hanger and the hidden loop just comes out... Now I have to get it fixed... So much for a buy and itll be wear ready minus alterations (if needed)... So very disappointed by Davids Bridal as a whole... The Bride is not happy either!

I am extremely pleased with my dress buying experience. I was helped by Vanessa. I came in with specific religious needs and a lot of body insecurities, and Vanessa was able to help me navigate all of these things extremely easily and was respectful and patient with me throughout my shopping extravaganza. 😁. I also had shopped on the website ahead of time and when I came in had ideas which ended up being completely wrong for my body type. Vanessa had a lot of experience and knowledge about what would look good on me, and did NOT pull the most expensive dresses for me to try on. She was respectful of my budget, and helped me find the most perfect dress!!!I will probably be taking it elsewhere to be altered though because of the cost of alterations being so high. We went in just trying to figure out what my mom was wanting to wear for my wedding. We had been shopping for 6 hours at multiple stores and we were both very done. A super sweet employee named Chloe came over and asked if we needed help and we definitely did! She gave great advice on colors and what washed her out and what didn’t. She was amazing and such a life saver! I’m booked to come in to try on wedding dresses in a month and I definitely want her to be my stylist!

Dresses are beautiful and are a really good. I love two so much that I just bought them both. The reason why I’m giving 3 stars is because: I had an appointment and the girl was double book.I literally waited over an hour after they left to actually get help. When I came in she help me with dressing room and I show her dresses I like but it felt rush. While she was with other client she did check on me and I told her I needed alterations. She said someone will be right with you an hour later past and no one came to help me.I didn’t want to be rude to the bride so, I just look around after I got bored. Finally I was tired of waiting so I when to the front desk and explained that I been waiting for over an hour and she got me someone within 5min from alterations. Then alterations gave me a price and suddenly when I am checking out this other lady that alters gives me an extra fee for rush when I had already told the other lady I needed in a week. I ended up not getting it alter there. But I did leave very upset of the whole situation. I didn’t get an apology from no one.

My consultant, Vanessa, was absolutely amazing! As a plus sized bride, I was actually dreading the experience of shopping for a wedding dress since I didn’t think there would be options for me. Go into the store no one’s wearing a mask so there’s no Covid regulations being followed. There is no availability of dresses that are tagged online when they asked you multiple times to take any dress that you would like to try on in store they’re not available and there’s no information coming to you saying that they are not available. The place is packed so you have a noon appointment you don’t get anybody till 1210 and then they show you things that you didn’t ask for not even in the realm of what you were looking for. Already on top of stress this day does not need to add to it that’s what they’re doing here is adding to it.

My daughter and I came to Davids just to try on dresses, not imagining she would find The One. Adrian was our consultant and she seemed like a best friend immediately. She could tell exactly what my daughter liked and what she didnt. Luz and the other ladies in alterations were so kind and professional; our whole process was so fun and easy. And my daughter has the dress of her dreams.

I went to 7 other different stores today looking for a prom dress, and this was the last stop... I only found maybe 1 dress at each of the other stores, but here I found about 7 I liked. Everyone that worked here was very friendly and Sabrina was very helpful when I was trying the dresses on. She gave me some tips on the dresses too and she made sure I was taken care of. I would highly recommend this store.

We showed up early to our appointment (like really early) and they were able to accommodate us earlier than scheduled. Abigail was amazing to work with. Hyped us up and seemed to understand that I was searching for something non-traditional. I would say the only negative (and the reason this is a 4 star review) was that there were not many dresses that fit my style, but my family and I had a great time narrowing down what style I was looking for. Ultimately I went with a dress from a different shop, but I still appreciate all the help and styling that Abigail provided. Did I mention that she was amazing?

We already had a wedding dress but tragically we left it in a hotel closet as we were moving across the country. The Davids Bridal staff at this location were able to get us an emergency dress of the same model on extremely short notice. Unfortunately it wasnt the perfect size, but they cant be blamed for that. We are so grateful that they were able to get us another dress so fast, and we thank them for the beautiful dress that made our wedding memories extra special, perfect size or not.

Unfortunately, they didnt have my size so my dress was shipped from another store. Showed up dirty with holes. I live 35 min away and had to take the dress back in to get it fixed....then pick it back up. Hopefully I will have it back in time to have the alterations completed before my wedding. A little disappointed. Also, probably need to add more registers. I had to stand in line and wait to talk to someone for about 30 min. Not sure why, because there were lots of workers standing around doing nothing. This is suppose to be a happy experience and it just was not.

Lesley the store manager went above and beyond assisting in my bridesmaid dress! I don’t even live in Austin but called around to stores in multiple cities for help on shipping, and she was the only one that offered to assist. I appreciate it so much!!

Vanessa was wonderful in helping my sister pick out her wedding dress. She made my sister’s appointment a beautiful experience.Our favorite part that I know that my sister will never forget in how special Vanessa made her feel and the ones that were around her.Before ringing the bell she shared words of blessings and made all of us tear up ! Went through at least 10 dresses. Some fit really nice. Some fit really loose. And there was one that fit just right and made me feel like the bride I will want to be on my day. Even though Im having a court ceremony. Very thankful for the help that James gave. And the all the little extras he showed us. Made me feel beautiful. Thank you!!!!

As soon as I walked into the store I felt like this was the place where I would get my prom dress! My stylist, Alexa helped me pick out some super cute dresses and even found the perfect matching shoes and mask! I am blown away by the customer service here! If you want an amazing prom dress then I highly recommend coming here! I felt so special when other workers/customers complimented how the dresses were on me. This is definitely the place to go where you can be confident in yourself!

My sister and I went in to find a bridesmaid dress for my wedding. The people were super helpful with her trying on different styles. We ended up ordering our dress that day and even gave us detailed information about when to expect the dress to come in.

I recently bought my wedding dress from this Davids Bridal location and was very happy with the selection and the service. My stylist Vanessa did a fantastic job of finding dresses and accessories to suit my vision. In fact, she picked a dress for me to try on that I wouldnt have otherwise given a shot ... and it ended up being the one. Vanessa was also very patient and kind through an ordeal where a family member threw a wrench in the selection process. Emotions can run high when it comes to this stuff and she knew just how to handle it. Thank you, Vanessa!

It was more expensive than I expected but worth it! I bought my dress at a Davids Bridal in Delaware and got my alterations done in Austin. In Austin, Rebecca was amazing and a total pro. The alterations team was so nice!

When we first arrived, they were obviously very busy as it was a Saturday, so it was a little chaotic. Once we were greeted by our stylist and brought back to the fitting room, everything felt more calm. Abigail was awesome, I feel like she really understood my vision and was super helpful. She was professional and kind and overall we had a great experience.

Vanessa was fantastic at listening to what I wanted out of a wedding dress and encouraged me to try on a variety of dresses, not just stop at the first one I liked. Kim tailored my dress to perfection, adding in gorgeous embroidered sleeves and removing the lengthy train. If I ever had to get married again, I would absolutely choose these two to help me get my dress ready 🤣

From start to finish we had the best experience. I went in to find my wedding dress, having an idea of what I liked but not sure of the style Abigail did an awesome job finding exactly what I wanted. I had a great experience with Noa for my bridal appointment! She was able to pull styles of dresses I had not considered and ending up loving. I had a very specific dress style in mind and I appreciated Noas patience with me.

I already knew what dress I wanted when I scheduled my bridal appointment. I was lucky enough to have Vanessa help me out with everything else I needed to go with the dress. She got it right the first time with all my accessories and made the shopping trip very quick and painless! I strongly recommend her if you have an upcoming event. Everyone at this location was friendly and just as excited as she was to help me get situated. I look forward to getting all my wedding party in the store eventually and bringing in more business for them.
