I took my totaled ‘09 altima here. A 15 second google search will show you that these cars transmissions go bad. It is a known problem. They had they “transmission specialist” boss take a look and he said the first thing was to fix the radiator. Obviously, I declined. I asked to leave the car in the lot since it did not drive, and I was told “no problem, we’ve had cars here for months”. Turns out two weeks ago they TOWED MY CAR WITHOUT EVEN CALLING ME. It is absolutely insane that they would do this without calling me. I have spent thousands at Firestone and they can’t even pick up a phone. They just scam you with fake fixes (‘we have to start with the radiator’), then tow your car without calling you. Not to mention they already fixed my engine oil cooler telling me that was my cars problem (it was always the transmission, and they knew that). It didn’t solve the problem of course.

They have consistently been available to complete repair work on our vehicles and their lifetime alignment has saved us a few times after we get new suspension or tires installed ... or smash into a pothole. I was a little disappointed that they were not willing to install a cabin air filter that I had purchased, but I can understand why.

The worst experience ever, they didnt communicate with me with regards to not finding parts and ended up not being able to find them, then my husband attempted to find them its has just been horrible communication. And as of today they cannot fix my vehicle now after having it for over two weeks. I will be calling corporate office also to notify them of the unprofessional staff they have running that place. Do not go to this place just a fair warning. Oh and when we dropped off the car they had a car blow up on them also so someone doesnt know what they doing.

Made an appointment for Saturday 5/15 at 12. Got there on time and dropped my car off. Waited for awhile to get some help at the front desk to drop it off. They said it’d be done around 1:40. No worries, I was able to walk around the arbor walk while I waited. Got back at about 1:50 to pick my car up only to find out they haven’t even brought it back yet. No call or any communication on their part about them not getting to it yet. What’s the point of an appointment?

A phone call would have been greatly appreciated. Rescheduled. Before heading to the appointment I called to make sure theyd be able to take me in. They confirmed they would. Oil change and tire rotation took two hours. Figured Id give them another shot. Here I am sitting in the lobby after 2 hours for them to tell me they are waiting on the oil filter... Also, lack of professional from the service advisor. Only make sense to have am oil filter ordered if you have a schedule oil change... Ill be trying out NTB next time round.

Worst car service ever had. I made appointment on Saturday 06/13 at 9am for brake service. 10am the guy who looks like store manager went to me and said I had a loose caliper and brake fluid need to be flushed. $620 total and 2 hours as I was told. I waited there still 1:30pm,4 hours and nothing seemed about to be done. I only heard the staff were talking and laughing in the garage. Again the same guy came to me and offer a discount for the long time waiting and he was pretty sure it would take only 1 hour more. Guess what?3 hours later I had to go inside the garage to ask them about my car. Thats when they rushed and checked me out at 4:30pm. Almost 8 hours for a brake service and no explains why, no apologies. How is a well known shop being rude and unprofessional like this? I will never come back here for sure.Think carefully if you want to drop your car here.

The car wasn’t even in the bay, he went and got it then. After 40 minutes and the requested oil change, they inform me I need new brake pads. Didn’t walk out of the store until 4pm. Techs were dismissive of my concerns and “that’s just how it is.” about the situation. What is the point of an appointment if it’s not honored? I felt extremely brushed off and swept to the side. Not often nowadays where genuine customer service is on-point, so I really appreciated my experience at Firestone earlier this week. I took my 06 Honda in for an inspection and standard oil change- price was great with coupon ($25), but my inspection did not pass due to the middle high mount brake light. When i freaked out, they remained very calm, professional and candid, and went over the options with me. Kevin, Joaquin, and Brandon helped me get back to a rational headspace, and performed the replacement service for over $100 less than the three other places I called to get estimates from. The service adviser, store manager, and mechanic were all great, and I will definitely be a repeat customer.

One of those times was after being sent on my way “repaired” and found myself broken down on Christmas Day on the highway. This last visit I had my second vehicle with a small coolant leak. I was there on a Tuesday morning at 10:45. I had to wait there until 2:00 while the guys clowned around and joked to get a diagnosis. Turned out to be a thermostat issue and a radiator cap. They also said to flush and fill the radiator. After an hour long wait for the estimate, they came up with $409! Painfully I agreed to get it done being that there was no time left to take it somewhere else. A 3 hour repair then began while I waited at a near by restaurant. They never called me to tell me it was ready, I did all of that follow up myself! I hope I never have to go there again and I’d strongly discourage anyone else from doing so. *edit* I changed my 1 star to a 4 star because they refunded the repair. They made the process easy and fair.*original* I came in to get the front brake pads and rotors replaced on my 4Runner. The service I received at that time seemed fair, polite and timely. However, when I picked up my car after the $450 repair I noticed that the new brakes made a new groaning/humming sound that wasnt present before the repair. This is when the car was brought back to be reinspected the FIRST time. They told me that the noise I heard was actually the *rear* brakes. Mind you, I was originally told that the rear brakes had 30% life left, but Im not a mechanic. I rely on mechanics to diagnose the issues on my cars properly. I told them to replace the rear brakes trusting that this would make the issue go away. The second repair was a separate $500 expense. Almost $1,000 total on brakes at this point. But when I picked the car up the noise was still just as bad as ever! Not only that but now my handbrake was wayyyyy loose and no longer held the car still while engaged. I called them back and spoke with Kevin, he told me to bring it in and have it reinspected a *SECOND* time. I explained my frustration with how my $500 spent on rear brakes was absolutely useless and he told me they would work with me. Mind you Im a one car family and leaving my vehicle with them over and over is extremely disruptive to my life. This time I left the car with them while I went out of town for 4 days. During that time they fixed my handbrake issue but couldnt replicate the groaning/humming. I did a ride along with Joaquin when I returned from vacation. Literally the first time he hit the brakes we heard the noise. Hadnt even left the parking lot yet. Guess what it was? Cheap brake pads. The pads they used up front for the first repair were inferior quality and made a noise when you use them. Why did it take 5 cumulative days of having my car, and a totally useless $500 rear brake job, to figure out that my issue was simply the pads?? Joaquin told me he would upgrade the front pads at no cost. When I told him about my frustration with misdiagnosed rear brakes he skirted the topic.I came back several days later for the THIRD reinspection and to have the new pads installed. Kevin told me that they wouldnt be able to get to my car that day, which at the time seemed understandable. I was told they would have it ready by noon the following day when I asked. However, I heard him quote a new customer on the phone who had a flat tire that if she brought her car in right that moment that they would have it ready within an hour. I left even more frustrated and dejected. I understand that businesses need new money to stay afloat, but HOLY MOTHER! FIX MY CAR!!!! MAKE ME A PRIORITY AT THIS POINT!!!!!!Heres the cherry on top. I called the next morning around 9ish and spoke with Kevin(same guy from the day before) about whether or not my car would be ready by noon. He told me that Joaquin wasnt going to be in UNTIL NOON AND THAT THEY WOULD NEED TO WORK ON IT AFTER HE CAME IN!!! I told him that would not be acceptable and he informed me that he would call Joaquin to get the go ahead. So not only have they now had my car in their shop for a cumulative total of seven days over what ended up being loud brake pads but now its not even going to be ready at my promised time without me hounding them to do it. Not to mention they still havent refunded the $500 in rear brakes they lied to me about needing. Absolutely unbelievably bad service. If I could give negative stars I would. Horrible, horrible, horrible experience.

I made an appointment for 1:00 just for an oil change (I also asked for a tire rotation but they didn’t put it on my receipt & never did it) the man told me it’d take 1-1.5 hours. I went and walked around the shops nearby & after nearly 2 hours, I walk back thinking they just forgot to call me. No. When I got there they hadn’t even started my car! After 2 hours! They didn’t offer any apology or anything else to make up for this incredible waste of time for a service that takes 20 or so minutes. Very disappointed I wish I could give zero stars. Such awful customer service. And to top it off, the got oil on the outside of my car & called me by the wrong name.

If you are looking for trustworthy and competent car repair services, I strongly urge you look elsewhere.Well, after having received poor service and being lied to, I will never do business with Firestone again.I took my vehicle to a Honda certified technician who diagnosed vibration occurring in the front of the vehicle as coming from warped brake rotors. As the brakes were originally installed at this location and still under warranty, I returned to this location for confirmation of the techs findings and possible replacement under warranty. As well, the vehicle had been in to this store previously for an alignment. The did not do a good job on the previous alignment at all. The vehicle pulled hard to the left and the steering wheel wasnt even centered. They had the car for 3 days and supposedly rebalanced the wheels and redid the alignment. The service advisor, Kevin, confirmed the work had not been performed correctly previously. As a customer, one shouldnt have to hold someones feet to the fire to have the service being PAID FOR to be done correctly. When. I picked the car up, Kevin swore up and down that nothing was wrong with the brakes in the car. He said the tech had test driven the car and miced the brakes and they were in spec. Today, I had to drive to Houston and deal with very obvious pedal vibration and steering wheel pull from what are obviously defective brakes. I will be confirming the condition with another shop and filing a complaint with Firestone corporate and the BBB.

Avoid at all costs. Complete scam shop. This is the worst auto care shop I have been to in 10 years. I went to get a simple oil change, and they tell me I need 4 new tires and start going over my options and prices. At the time I knew I needed 1 new tire as it had gone down past the wear bars and was practically bald, but on the other 3 I still had about 4-6mm left. That was the first red flag for this place, trying to sell me tires I do not need. Then I went back a few months later for an inspection and afterwards they didnt say anything about needing any new tires (even though I still had the bald one, which I replaced a couple weeks after). In fact, they didnt even give me a report showing what they inspected. They said and showed me nothing about my car. I wouldnt be surprised if they just slapped the inspection sticker on my car without doing anything. Also, while waiting for my inspection, I had the pleasure of hearing how condescending one of the employees was to a non-native english speaker who had trouble explaining what was wrong with her car. After recently going to another auto shop I realized that even though it is the closest and most convenient, I am definitely never going back to this place.

They insisted on replacing an intact brake caliper which was claimed to be leaky. They could not prove that to me. They could replace the eroded brake pads with one condition: to replace the well-functioning caliper too. I did not do any maintenance there due to the lack of trust during this visit.I have warranty for brake pad replacement because I had replaced them in Firestone just two years ago. Their brake pads have extremely low quality and just two-year life span is too short for the mileage of my car in the past two years.Another car mechanics center inspected the brake caliper and confirmed that it had no problem.Avoid this store; they may fabricate fake problems in your car.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. My boyfriend had dropped off the Mercedes and it was aligned. He called me to bring the Lexus in for alignement. My boyfriend asked the manager, Joaquin Mercado, how long it would take to align the the 2nd car. Joquins response was Im not going to tell you but it will be done by closing at 7pm. My boyfriend was not happy with that response and asked for his manager. Joaquin replied, its on the window and Id be more the happy to return your key. Hed rather keep his bad attitude then keep us as customers....? Wow.

Went there to get an oil change thru a dealership we bought our car thru was told they need to pay their bill first which has nothing to do with me. second they told me I had 2 nails in my front tires so I immediately made an appointment at discount tires who I will ALWAYS buy my tires thru and have a warranty on my tires thru. Took it in they came back to me 30 mins later and told me there is absolutely nothing wrong with my tires except in 6 to 9 months they might need to be replaced depending on how we drive. I hate being lied to and hate being lied to cause u want to sell me some tires why not just be honest and do people right. Im so pissed off and really disappointed cause being firestone u would think they wouldnt have to b.s. people to buy your tires or oil changes or alignment or whatever else you sell and do

Got at the Firestone at Mopac and 183 at about 4:30pm on a Saturday with bad tires and a 4hr trip ahead of me and my daughter in rainy weather. An alert looking fellow Zach told me they could get to my car in about 30min. After I told him about the 4hr drive, he said he might get to it in 20min. About an hour later another technician was taking a first look at my car. I then had to wait longer to talk to Zach. Zach looked at the tires and said the front ones should be replaced before a 4hr trip in rainy weather. At 6:40pm I was still waiting to get the two front tires replaced. When I finally drove off, the steering wheel still felt wobbly and the accelerator still pulsed back at me such that I didnt drive past 60mph.I paid about $10 each to get them balanced but according to my regular mechanics, the tires were never balanced.I chose this Firestone because it didnt look as busy as the Discount Tire stores, but theres probably a reason this place wasnt as busy...

Avoid this location. I went in for a simple oil change and when it was completed they had drained my battery (brand new battery). They said that was normal as they leave the car running during the oil change. I asked what the price was to replace my wiper blades and the shyster salesman pointed to his screen and said they were $17.99 each for the premium blades. I agreed to this even though the mark-up is high (same blades online at big book store seller for $10 each). Insult to injury, there was a $6.00 fee tacked on to my final bill for wiper blade labor which he neglected to mention.

Went to this Firestone back in November for an Oil Change (since I get a discount with Uber), everything seemed to be go off without a hitch. Reps were friendly and even got me a nice discount on top of that.Fast forward to 6 months later, time comes for another Oil Change and I decide to take it to the dealership primarily because Id knew theyd take a look at everything and tell me the basic state of my car without having an upcharge. I find out that, according to the dealer, the Drain Plug has been crossthreaded and they dont do anything but primary parts, so itll cost $717 to replace the entire oil pan. Compound that with them having already drained my oil and refusing to refill it, it came out to be bordeline extortion to get me to pay for overpriced repairs.I reached out to Firestone about this. Joaqin, the store manager, was super friendly and understanding. He towed my car to their location, and took a look at the issue. He couldnt say for sure whether it was them who stripped the screws or whether it was wear and tear, but he went above and beyond to rectify the issue. Trying every solution he could think of, and luckily finding one that fixed it without having to replace the oilpan. On top of that he didnt charge me--which was super unexpected but really above and beyond. While my experience definitely had some ups and downs, a huge shout-out to Joaqin whos 5-Star service and management really brought this unfortunate episode to an amazing ending. Definitely will be visiting this location again.

I made an appointment for a warrantied tire that was bubbled and needed replacement. Even showed up 15 minutes early. TWO HOURS later, they came and told me my tire needed replacing and they needed my approval to replace it. I sat here for two hours before they even began the thing I came in for. I wont be back here again, what an inefficient operation.

Place is a rip off. If you pay them to do anything to your car your probably gonna leave with more problems. They broke my tpms sensor and tried to charge me 128$ after waiting for almost 4 hours. Its just another case of mechanics doing shotty work and not standong behind it. If you have plenty of free time to take your car here repeatedly and dont car about you money then this is the place for you.

Worst service ever! I made a 7 am appointment a week ago. I dropped my car last night so they could start my alignment immediately. The only thing I wanted was an alignment-thats it! 5 hours after they open I am still waiting for my car. 5 hours to do an alignment! I will never Use firestone ever. They still have my car and I missed work!!!!

I went in for a tire repair (nail removal) and a balance and rotation. I was left with a statement that my rear right wheel NOW is bent and the nail didnt go through the tire, so it was not needing a repair. Also that I should expect a wobble affect when driving. I also mentioned to the young lady helping me that I NEVER had that before. So what happened to my wheel? APPERENTLY it happens but my car is good to go she says...I drive my car onto mopac and as soon as I hit 45mph my whole car shakes like the tires are extremely loose and are going to fly off from under my car! I got back to see what she can do to fix my problem she states we can go over the charges and prices to fix it but they have to ship it to another shop. I told her I have to transport children in this car and she went back to the process trying to sell me a package to fix my car that they damaged! They have gotten new management in the summer but if thats the way that location is going I would highly suggest a new Firestone location!! My familys safety was not even a concern! I have been going to that location for years with no issuses! Shows how one person can ruin it for everyone there!

Horible service rude and outrageous prices for work that was not even done. Why is my oil change light on 1 week after I had it changed there. My check engine light came on before I went and it was my gas cap being loose. They charged me 100 dollars to find out that was the problem. Ridiculous place to go for car services.

I went there today because of a flat tire, Randy Schonefeld told me that it will take time (about 1h30) since they had a lot of cars. He offer to send me to the firestone that is like 6 miles south. He call and told me the wait will be shorter. When I arrived to the other location the guy told me it will be done in 2hours!! After I explain what Randy had told me he mention that it cant actually be fix until 4:00pm (I was there at 10am) but because Randy told me 1h30 he was doing an effort. Honestly dont go here, where they are not clear with the customer, go to Walmart Tire Repair, it was cheaper (yes like half the price) and amazingly fast, great service and you can look around Walmart while waiting.

Horribly inconsiderate of customers’ time. I’ve been told to come back in 2 hours, it’s close to 3 now and the vehicle hasn’t even been moved inside from where I parked it. Too bad it’s a company vehicle and I have only a few locations to choose from; otherwise, I’d stand up and leave.

Service representative named Oscar just lost Firestone a customer. I had an appointment for a brake check. I walked in and asked if they had Wagner brakes and he laughed and said Sorry, Ive never heard a woman ask about the brake brand. Then he proceeds to give me prices for rotors and I had to show him that he was looking at the wrong screen. If Firestone has idiots like this working there, they will not be getting my money.
