I had a very special event and Marivel made my day be perfect. She was very nice and very professional she made my hair the way I wanted. She care about all the details and she has a great customer service. If you go to this location ask for Marival.. you won’t be regret it.

I just moved to Austin and needed a haircut and low lights. I booked an appointment and didn’t request a specific stylist since I was new. Melanie Rozas did my highlights and cut and I was very pleased with the results and the cost. It was well worth it and I plan to book with Melanie again.

Sandi is wonderful at what she does :) I went in with a super long, unruly mane that hadn’t been cut in almost 2 years! She didn’t charge me for length and added the most perfect long layers to my hair. She also made sure to talk to me about what I wanted to do and let me think about the layers before going in. Ultimately I am super happy with the way my haircut turned out and I’ll definitely be going back to her for my next cut!

Pilar is excellent professional im glad i found her at JCPenney at pompano Beach. She does all services with care. Make you feel comfortable and alway get you recommend how to take care your hair at home. Definitely I highly recommend her

Wendy and Kirsten are great! I have gone to both of them and they have excellent customer service and they also are great stylist! Im very picky when it comes to anyone doing my hair but I dont have any reservations about going to either one of them!I would definitely recommend them to others!

Jessica Valdez is my hair stylist. She did a color and cut for me today and it is just awesome! She takes the time to make sure the color is done right. She cares if you are happy with the end result. Go to Jessica if you want a great stylist and not just a rush job

First time I go to this location AND a Jcpenny salon too. Absolutely loved that I got what I wanted and not charged for having super long hair! Everyone was nice and being able to do a walk-in was helpful. I had Brian and he was an amazing stylist and conversationalist! Definitely reccomend for anyone in the young adult age group or college student not knowing where to start off in a new city for hair

I got my hair cut and highlighted by Amanda two weeks ago and she did an amazing job! I have been searching for 6 1/2 years in Austin for a good stylist at a salon that I like and that is affordable. I finally found it! My hair hasn’t felt or looked this good in years! Thank you Amanda for the amazing job you did on my hair! She is so nice and takes the time to do it right. I will definitely be going back to her!

I highly recommend Gabe! Ive been going to Gabe (Gabriel) for my relaxers and haircuts for 11 years now! Im mixed with Mexican & Black, my hair is hip length & its very thick/coarse. I get the Affirm relaxer & get it cut it in long layers and it comes out amazing!!!

Not over priced which is a big bonus and they do a great job will have you looking different in a good way.👍

I wanted a haircut and went to Barton Creek mall to another salon, but they were booked. Since I didnt want to wait I found another salon at JC Penny which I was iffy about since I am more a customer of the high end salons. I got my haircut by Valerie and let me tell you she hit it out of the ball park. She took her time, she was really nice and to top it of I got a really trendy cut. I would really recommend her! And if you want to be charged an arm and a leg this is definitely the place.

3 year customer - never returning to this salon. I had an appointment this afternoon that I booked online last night. My appointment was for 3:45 for a Clipper Cut. The Website mentions that these cuts cost between $18-$25. It also has a little description of what the service includes (it never states it is for men only). I arrived right on time and checked in. The receptionist could not find my appointment for some reason. She eventually finds it and informs me that the lady I had booked with was no where to be found despite her having an appointment scheduled with me. She finally shows up 15 mins late at 4 pm. The hair cut was nice. She took her time and did a nice job, however being 15 mins late is very unprofessional. Upon checkout they tell me that I owe $35. I explained that I signed up for a Clipper Cut and it was supposed to be no more than $25. The receptionist did not offer any apologies and stated that Clipper Cuts are for men only. When you buzz off your hair, were her exact words. Here is a screenshot from the website that clearly does not state that these haircuts are strictly for men. HORRIBLE customer service, but nice cut. I will not return despite coming here for the past few years and typically spending $20-$25 on a basic cut. I get a very simple straight across no layers cut. I would have gone to Supercuts or GreatClips had I known they were charing me $35.

Holy Moley, tried Amanda after reading another review and she gave me the best cut and color Ive had in almost 5 years of living in Austin! Tried plenty of high end salons here, and even supercuts out of frustration, all meh. Finally found The One! You wont be disappointed. Shes talented

This was my third haircut by Hailey and once again she did an amazing job! Love it so much!
