Staff was polite and friendly. Coffee tasted great. There was quite a backup of cars in the drive thru and in line inside. Looks like they need more staff to keep up with this areas love of SB.

I’d say the customer service is great but the drinks are never-ever consistent and you can almost always count on the order being made wrong. I often have issues with my drink never tasting the same consistently and I usually order the same 3 drinks, being watered down with too much milk tasting like there’s no coffee present or too much ice even if you ask for light ice as seen in my photo of light ice but the cup more than half full of ice lol. It’s small things but when you’re paying $5 for a cup of coffee it’s annoying.

So I went by today and noticed it was closed and spoke to another customer who had apparently spoken to the manager earlier that day who was just doing some work on their patio. After reading the reviews I felt it was my duty to also leave one. According to the person on the patio, they are closed so that they can serve the community better once they are staffed and trained. Like most service industry places, they too are struggling to make it through these tough COVID times. I really respected hearing So they can better serve the community. As someone who has lived in Austell for years, this is music to my ears. Please be kind and let them work on getting staffed to better serve their community. Great Job Starbucks. I am excited to see what this store brings.

I ordered 2 Strawberry creme and 1 Caremal Macchiato. They didnt have Caremal drizzle. So I ordered a small Caramel macchiato instead of medium I get it home and the free one is half filled. I took a $30 lyft to get here to find the lobby is closed. No reason. The employees just didnt want to serve people inside today so they closed the lobby. So Im out $30+ dollars due to this sheer incompetence. Best believe Ill be contacting corporate about this.

The staff is great and my drinks are always correct, however…WHY IS THIS LOCATION ALWAYS RANDOMLY CLOSED?! You can never count on it being open. Honestly like 2/5 times I go it’s closed. No rhyme or reason just “temporary closed”. Very frustrating.

Waited 15 minutes for a hot cup of coffee with regular cream. When I got it and drove off it was luke warm. It had so much cream in it that it may as well had even a latte. Moral of the story is dont drive off until you check your drink!

Mobile order is suppose to be convenient. They were a little busy when I went so I didn’t complain, but after waiting 10 minutes for a mobile order I asked for a refund.The workers are extremely unorganized and rude. They frequently mess up order and have the nerve to be upset when asked for it to be corrected.Something needs to change or this location will not have much business.

I just called the store to see if they are opened considering I came here at various times and the lobby and/or the drive thru randomly closed and I didnt want to waste my time. Some guy picked up and says Starbucks on East West Connector I say May I ask if you guys are open today? CLICK He hangs up. I call back and some random answering machine comes on. I dont think they want to work and/or make money. Please take your money to another location. I will be writing corporate about this location

I have been frequenting this location for 3 years as i live across the street. I often drive all the way to S Cobb location just to get my coffee due to horrendous wait times at this location. Every time I think they have the issue fixed, its back to having the lobby closed at random days and then an average of about 3 to 4 min wait per vehicle at drive thru. Service here is completely unreliable and I often see workers standing around inside chatting while responsible workers are working even harder. I ensure to tip directly to the few outstanding individuals I have seen here. I can only wonder, who manages or owns this location that they care so little to keep tabs on the quality of service their loc provides.

Dont have order ahead if youre going to make the customer still go through the long line at the drive thru. If I order ahead, I should be able to go inside and get my FRESH coffee and warmed up pumpkin loaf. Now Im late to work and have a cold and soggy pumpkin loaf and a watered down coffee.

I liked this store up until now. Seems like they have hired new staff and they don’t care. Lately they just haven’t been listening. The instructions on the cup will have what I wanted but the coffee isn’t made that way. It tastes completely different from what I asked for like they just make it the way they want not how I asked.

Sadly you cant use the app to order ahead; regardless, the staff at this location are ON IT! Great ordering experience and everything inside the store seemed very clean as well as very organized. Josh (autumn leaf hair and was wearing matching beanie) is an awesome barista and very friendly. The rest of the staffers also seemed nice and were doing a great job managing an overflowing drive-through.

Their operating hours continuously have been changing making it impossible to know when theyre open. Pull up today and there is a note on the drive-thru says they open at 9:00 a.m. online still says 5:00 a.m. on weekends at 6:00 a.m.

I understand theres a shortage of workers, but why hire incompetent people to serve the public in times like this. This location is not only slow, but unprofessional, and has too many workers doing absolutely nothing. I should have never had to wait 20 mins for an oatmeal and corssiant with only 1 person in front of me. I counted 7 people behind the counter of which 3 were actually working. Dear lord never again... Oh, and the shift manager had a terrible attitude.

I really don’t know why this location is open! Their mobile app more than always say they are out of everything! If they are out of the syrup and any 1 ingredient, it shows up as out at this store on the mobile app. This has been going on for months now. You can go up the road to Atlanta Rd and no problem. Who’s NOT managing your inventory properly? How are you always out of caramel sauce for weeks at a time. There are multiple items my family and I drink from here and majority of the time, their entire menu is grayed out. I hope they open another one in the Maboetin/Austell area and completely put this one of of business!

Relatively small Starbucks store with few tables inside and seating area outside. It has also drive by service. As in all Starbucks there is free wifi. Staff is friendly with good service, The view from it is mainly parking lot.

This is the worst starbucks I’ve ever been to and that says a lot as I’ve traveled the world. I have been two days in a row and they give me grande orders in venti cups which obviously gives me more than I specifically want. Its the principle of I would like what I actually order, not the extra ice or milk that you think I want. Yesterday I had to ask for a smaller cup, today I had to pour out the extra. I even expressed this to the associate and she just said sorry, out hot cups are bigger than cold cups. And when did this change??? At least they could have offered to remake my drink to my specifications. For a $7 liquid, damn I could at least get exactly the amount I ask for. Will not return.

This is one of the worst Starbucks I have been too. Even when I go to different states, my Starbucks’ drinks always taste the same except for at this location ! They never have matcha powder. So today I asked for Carmel Frappe because they didn’t have matcha powder. The Carmel Frappe had to be remade twice and both times it had a funny/ dirty watery taste. The barista then said to me “people have been saying the same thing about it tasting funny”. She then offered to make me another drink or refund me, I asked for another drink, Carmel Macchiato that I just ended up throwing away along with the cold banana nut bread I asked to be warmed. Waste of money

You can go to six flags and wait or you can come here.lolNot the most considerate place of business. Baristas let customers sit in the drive-thru for over 15-20 mins just to say what they are out of instead of simply placing a sign out. Also this is the second time my order was wrong no caramel flavor first time and no added espresso this time. Window clerk was kind and super complimentary but almost in a sarcastic way considering they were out of a lot of things and incredibly slow paced.

This place is CONSISTENTLY BAD/SLOW/INATTENTIVE. I rarely review unless the experience is a constant bad. This location is the toe-cheese of Starbucks locations. Ive placed mobile orders 20 minutes in advance knowing how bad they are, show up, and still wait another 20 minutes. Ive seen people walk in, order, and get their order, all within the 20 minutes of in-store wait time for my mobile order, after a 20 minutes advanced order before even arriving. Lol. Theres no winning here. Drive-thru is a slow as it gets. Orders are consistently wrong. Consistently out of a top-selling item like cold brew. Ive mobile ordered stuff, then when I arrive and am offered a less expensive, Im never offered a refund/credit for the difference. This location is just bad, poorly managed, and frankly a waste. Not far from my house, but Id rather drive to Atlanta Road and go out of my way to have the order done right. 99% of the time the issue is too many people standing around talking. 8 employees in-house and only 2 are working. If you can make it to another location, dont waste your time/energy here. Youre certain to disappointed. The dead giveaway should have been the sub-90 Health Inspector score at a Starbys. Hows that even possible?

Starbucks is always known for the quality of coffee, today I got some other best quslity of service Ive had in awhile. I came into Starbucks and was feeling rather low in spirits. I wanted some coffee as a pick me up but wanted something different and not my usual. Joshua took my request to heart and made me a sweet cream cold brew with 7 pumps of dark caramel and 2 pumps of chai. Im not typically a fan of caramel, but this mixture was divine. It certainly gave me the physical energy I was hoping for. However, Joshuas bright and cheery attitude was infectious and made my day so much better. I felt cared for, something often missed in a busy atmosphere. I also got to speak with Marques, a very kind soul who was happy to hear about the drink that was recommended to me. This experience really made my day and showed me the sunshine shining despite the clouds in the sky. I look forward to ordering a sweet cream cold brew Joshuas Way again.

This Starbucks is so erratic with their service! Half the time the mobile app isn’t on then other times only the drive thru is open with very long lines. They are slow even with the mobile app. I can order 15 minutes before I get there and my order is till not ready. Very disappointed!

Twice I have had to get a refund on mobile orders. First time I waited an hour AFTER my pick up time. The second time it was 32 minutes. Employees basically just shrug and say oh well. I get being busy but once you add in the 20 minutes till order is supposed to be ready and then the hour after that and then have to ask for a refund because I’m going to be late... it should not take an hour and 20 minutes for a coffee.

I go here because it’s the more convenient 1 for me. But to be honest the taste of the coffee is just not the same as the other Starbucks everywhere else. It’s like they don’t put nothing into it! Not the first negative experience at this particular location. Placed a mobile order and it should have taken between 4 and 7 minutes. Took 16 minutes for my order at 4 oclock, and no almond milk/extra shot/peppermint syrup/kid temp (it was extra hot instead..) as ordered and paid for. In a rush and didnt have time to go back. Other locations nearby are MUCH better, just werent on my route this afternoon.

I went to this location on my birthday and order a drink and bakery item. I told them I wanted to use my birthday perk and when I got to the window I handed then my card to pay for the bakery item to find out they changed for my full order and when I asked the lady working she just told me it was too late to change it. I also went there the other day for a London Fog and all I got was 1 tea bag for my venti and steamed milk. Not planning on coming back to this location.

Terrible experience. Ordered ahead, arrived and received 1/3 of my order. Waited 10 min to get another 1/3 of my order and another 10 min for the barista to tell me they didn’t have one of the items I bought. Them he stared at me. Total POS. Why have mobile pay if there’s no staff dedicated to mobile orders? While I was standing there 2 people requested their money back. Can’t find a decent Sbux anymore in the area. This Starbucks is not organized ! I decided to enter the store instead of the drive through That rapped around the building. i ordered a simple cold brew black coffee plain . I waited twenty minutes and Still had not received my coffee. 3 employees were standing doing nothing at this time. I proceeded to tell the guy who took my order not to make it due to my wait, he shrugged and said ok . I will never go back again to this location due to the fact they care more about the drive through than the twenty customers inside their building.
