Went in looking for a crucial part to stop a squeak on my bike. Described the part I was looking for. But the team didnt seem to want to look for it in the back. Said they couldnt be bothered to look and it would be a waste of time. Would have considered purchasing other things in the shop but walked away due to the rude unhelpful response.Not for the everyday cyclist who wrenches on their own bike.Not for the none-spandex crowd.Recommended I go to Home Depot since I dont have a carbon bike.An LBS should be friendly to all their customers not just the ones with the DI2 and the Campy record bits.Got my parts at another shop. No more squeak and will not be back.

I ride a Schwinn road cruiser, old, 3 gears. According to my very small carI have the continuing problem, that 2 strong guys have to push my bike into my car, and some other guys have to unload it. Thanks for your muscles, guys!But right now one brake cable was damaged, and the brakes needed. to be adjusted etc., estimate $ 30.-. I agreed.Ten minutes later Eric called and said, your bike is ready.I was still in the area and picked it up. But now the charge was different:NO CHARGE AT ALL, and nice treatment with a lot of humor before and after the repair. I am new customer to them.My previous bike shop in a ..... store does not want to take in bikes for 2 months, but they want to sell me a new bike, and the guy is not even friendly.What a difference ONE MILE makes!

They are so kind! My bike was checked out (hadnt been ridden in over 8 years...) and the tires were filled for me, with no charge! They informed me what would need to be done next and was very helpful. I will be back for my tune-ups and any bike needs!

Worst experience every. felt like I was taking advantage of because Im a girl. I recently brought my bike in for service and was quoted a price $400 some dollars . Gave them the ok and then was told there be a delay do to shipping my FOX shocks out to have rebuild. OK fine I understand. 3 weeks later and missing out on two big trips with the bike. I was then told $500 ok fine ... plus a $35 wash. $35 for a bike wash ??? the bike is still dirty. I pay $19 for a good car wash! I called to ask to be refunded for the $35. I was told NO that i could drive all the way back, drop it off and then wait and drive all the way back to pick up. $35 WOW

Went in for a tune up and they were honest and said I didnt need one at the time. Instead they spent 10 minutes cleaning my bike, oiling the chain, fixing a wheel issue I didnt even know I had and adjusting my front brakes. I was out in 10 minutes and they would not let me pay.Ill be putting their name and address up at my gym and send folks there way for years to come!

I came into this shop today because I had an issue with some parts that I got here and they itmediatley replaced the parts even though it was my fault. I would have been screwed if they did not back their work. This has been one of the few places to get high quality stuff and I cannot say enough nice things about them. They even took the time to clean my bike and do some chain and other basic maintenance. You are not going to find a better boutique bike shop in Colorado. The service is unparalleled to anyone else. They remind of Rolex watch repaimen but for bikes.

Not Ebike friendly, quoted as saying We will take your money, but will take no responsibility for the work. They said this after they trashed talked my choice of bike to me when all a was asking for some simple bike maintenance.

I had heard great things about Adventure Cycling and, based on my recent first-hand experience, everything I had been told is true. Last week I took my cross bike in for a major tune up, including new cables, housing, and bar tape; head set, wheel hubs, and bottom bracket checks; wheel truing; and drive train cleaning. Based solely on the number of miles I had on the bike (about 6,500), I told the mechanic who would be working on it that I was sure I also would need new break pads. When I returned to the shop to pick up the bike, I questioned the mechanic about the bill -- there was no charge for new brake pads. He told me I didnt need them. He said they still had plenty of pad surface left -- most likely another 3,000 miles or more (I am easy on my bikes, know how to properly use the front brakes, and seldom need to apply heavy brake pressure when stopping). The shops philosophy is to only replace parts that really need to be replaced and not to fix something that isnt broken. Although Adventure Cycling is 30 minutes away from my home, it is now my LBS.

Eric and the crew saved my bacon and fixed my bike days before I was leaving for Ride the Rockies!! They were super busy but helped me out when I needed them the most. Thank you Adventure Cycles...youre a class act!!

You dont get service like this unless you own a time machine and can go back 50 years. These guys are a class act. Honestly its worth an hours drive to get this much give a damn. One of the few retail dealers of any kind of product-line that always provides phenomenal customer service (which by the way means close to perfection). Their only issue is store space which of course limits what the showroom can carry but the technicians are excellent in every way so your work will be done very quickly and in many cases as you wait. My suggestion is to get all of your work done there. Every employee I have ever talked to has literally made my day and Im a detail oriented person in everything I do. Hope that helps.

I started going to this shop to replace my brakes. Even though my bike is a cheap one staff was very friendly and gave me lot of options considering whats cost effective. This is going to be my store of choice. After that I have visited this shop for few other work on my bike. Highly recommend them.

I love this shop - they are honest and capable. I came in today with a quick rear wheel truing - I dont have a truing stand at home and even if I would Id need to get all the extension and know how to use it. These guys did the job while I was waiting for a good price, cant beat that. I will be definitely back when my bike will need a full tune up.

Never worked on my bike. I brought my bike in and agreed it’s an ebike and they work on ebikes. They said the would call with an estimate the same day. I never received any call so I had to call later the next day and they said they can’t work on it since it’s an ebike with a throttle. Why didn’t they just ask if it has a throttle the time I dropped it off or just looked for two seconds so they wouldn’t waste my time to pick it up again the next day?? When I called instead of being apologetic, the manager was rude and arrogant! I’m sorry but you’re not the only one busy!

Ive been in Colorado for a total of 2 days and have found my cycle shop before Ive even found a house! Took my bike in for a major tune up but was told it wasnt needed after a few quick adjustments. Wasnt even charged! Any place that is honest, upfront and wont just take my money because it can, has my full support and business!

I’ve known about Adventure Cycling and where it’s at in Aurora but I go to another shop in Aurora since it’s very close to me. Yesterday I went to the shop that’s close to me to get a stubborn pedal removed and stem. I showed up 20 minutes before store was to open to see if they could help me out. I was greeted by an employee and was told that they are very busy and could Not help me. I explained to the employee that I was told by another employee to bring the bike in before the the store opens and they would help me out. He refused and said again they were too busy. I get it bicycle shops are very busy due to COVID-19I then took my bike to adventure cycling to see if they could help me out. I was greeted by the owner and was told Sure! Bring your bike in and we’ll fix you up. This took him about 10-15 minutes and the store was getting busy. When he was done I was checking out to buy new pedals, a few water bottles and cages and the owner told the cashier there was no charge for labor. I then brought my son in later in the day and he found a seat and shoes that he had been looking for. I’ve spent more than $400 in to days and was happy about it. The owner and his staff are awesome and I would highly recommend this place to other people.This is the first review I’ve ever posted and I’m 57. This is definitely the place I will start doing business with even though I have to drive a bit further.

Best biking Shop in the area. The mechanics are very experienced and will fix the problem guaranteed. Had multiple shops tell me my front derailleur needed a replacement. Stoped by adventure cycling on my way home and they fixed the problem in 10 min. Very friendly atmosphere. 👍🏻👍🏻 Shop of choice in aurora/Denver area.

I found this bike shop in the midst of COVID, when many bike shops dont even answer their phones. I was getting frustrated at the other bike shops who had voice mail systems telling the customer to email the store. Very impressed that each time I called and spoke to a real human (wow!) that they were patient, kind, and most of all - helpful.I also love that this is a locally owned bike shop run by good, honest people. Really appreciate the great customer service by Christy, always friendly and patient despite it always being crazy in there! Isaac a mechanic helped me understand a technical issue in a very simple way, which I really appreciated. The owner Eric clearly has great people working at his store. Only regret is not finding them earlier!

Got a full service $250 plus bill, rode great no problems with the work. The chain started slipping recently (about 2 years later now) considering all the parts were replaced were brand new I called to see if maybe they were under warranty... big mistake the gentleman I spoke was extremely rude, condescending, and made it seem like I was trying to get over on the store. He didn’t ask for my name until halfway threw the call, I’m not upset with the work it was great work but the customer service was a joke. I won’t be bringing my bike back here I would have paid for another overhaul If recommended I’ll be taking my money elsewhere.

We just moved into the area. Every experience we have had with them has been positive. My dad bought an electric assist bike from them and loves it.

I would not suggest this place if youre a recreational biker. They were rude on the phone and the mechanics were condescending in person. Their service was prompt, but it was not worth having to listen to their mechanics in the shop bad mouth customers, criticize what each person rides, and endlessly complain about their work. Staff seems to be solely catering to professional riders and expensive, high performing bikes. Between their disrespect and pretentiousness, I wont be back.FYI: Tuneups are priced in three tiers with the most basic at $95 and their mid-level at $250, which is information they seemed reluctant to share over the phone.

Great low key shop! Best staff Ive ever experienced. Really a top notch establishment.Major shout out to their mechanic Joey for hooking me up! I snapped my derailleur hanger a few days before my trip to Crested Butte. I was going crazy trying to find a shop that would have it. None of the shops were willing to search outside of their supply chains and all gave me that sorry... youre outta luck shrug.The dudes at adventure cycling were A) willing to fabricate a hanger for me and B) search all over CO to see where one might be located. They found one and Joey drove to get the part ON HIS DAY OFF!Overall I had my bike back in 2 business days and was able to enjoy my trip.Thanks Adventure Cycling!

Had a few bad experiences with this shop. I went out of my way to shop at local small business but ultimately I just wasnt satisfied with the quality, customer service or price after the last few visits.

The best and must affordable shop in town, and the customer service is more than great. I’ve been there a couple of times and I’m already in love with this place.

Had to get some new bike tires and get them set up tubeless. Came here since its close and the reviews are so good. This place is awesome. All of the parts I had to buy were competitive to online prices. It took less than thirty minutes for them to do all of the work. And finally, the guy that helped me was extremely nice and basically walked me through the whole process. I told him ahead of time that I was a bit of a novice and HE asked ME if I had any questions for him that would help out. Overall it was an awesome experience and its cool to see a small business thats so well run. Ill probably exclusively shop here for my bike gear.

Bad customer service. I dont know if I came on a bad day or the person was in a bad mood but. The lady gave me attitude didnt bother checking what I was looking for she didnt even let me finish my sentance and said no.

I brought my bike in with a loose crankset, expecting to leave it for a few days. The mechanic put it right up on their rack, repaired the problem, adjusted my derailleur and recommended a new chain. He said he could put it on right then, I said do your magic. Bottom line, excellent service, great price ($50 for everything) and they were very friendly. I would recommend this shop to all. I am a daily commuter so, it was great to not have my bike tied up for several days. I didnt get the mechanics name otherwise I would have been happy to give him the shout out he deserves.

I went into this bike shop off a recommendation from a co worker. I was amazed by the knowledge, amazing customer service and helpfulness by all of the staff that helped me. I was initially going to purchase a new road bike through the shop, and instead ended up purchasing a used bike. They tuned the bike up so it rode like new! Erik did a great fit on the bike so it actually fit since it was initially too big for me. All of the staff has been nothing less than wonderful and helpful, especially Kendra and Erik! This shop is my new go to for anything and everything related to cycling! Thanks Adventure Cycling for getting this gal on a bike that got me over Vail pass safely! You all rock!

Awesome bike store! Worked with Eric the owner who helped me with my purchase of a new Specialized Roubaix Sport. Eric is an Army Vet and also gave me a 10% discount on the bike for being a Vet myself. Not to mention the low 4.25% sales tax which is half of what I would have paid in Colorado Springs! Posting by my husband: These guys are great!! Went in for some minor work (bar tape, new chain, derailleur adjustment) and noted I had some cracks in the rear Bontrager wheel by the spoke nipples. Pretty sure I needed a new wheel but instead of trying to hard sell a new wheel set, one of the owners suggested taking to a Trek dealer to see if they would give a discount on a new wheel set which a competitor did saving me a bunch of money. That kind of integrity is hard to find and ensures I will be a repeat customer at Adventure Cycling - builds trust in their clientele when they lookout for your bottom line before theirs. Everything you want from a good bike shop! They did a lot of work on a bike I bought used. It was a little pricey, but the cost was fair for how much work they did. Im very happy with how it rides. We recently rented bikes to ride around Cherry Creek with my family. The bikes were perfectly adequate for beginners to ride around the trails there, and at a great price.

Not as friendly as they used to be. My initial experience with this bike shop was very good. I had a broken chain which they replaced even though I didn’t have my wallet. They just said to ride back to my vehicle and stop back in later to pay for it. They were very friendly. Recently I dropped a used bike off there to be tuned. I couldn’t get anyone to look me in the eye or talk to me. Even when I went back to pick it up they weren’t friendly or helpful. I was asking questions about putting a new stem on the bike and they just didn’t want to deal with me. So I just left. I won’t go back there.

Awful shop, don’t go to this place. I brought my bike in to get the tubes replaced and as soon as I tested it out the tire popped. They will look for any way to rip you off and fail to do a proper estimate of service. They could’ve told me in the beginning that the tires needed to be replaced rather than pump the tube too much and make the tire pop. Waste of time, money, and you’ll have to deal with rude people working there!

Erik and the entire staff at Adventure Cycling are great to deal with. They are very knowledgable and make new riders and experienced riders alike feel comfortable and welcome in their store. Their level of expertise and bike knowledge is second to none. Ive worked with several LBS on the front range and Adventure Cycling is by far the best! I cant say enough good things about Adventure Cycling. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! Had I known about their stellar level of customer service and knowledge, I would have started shopping there years ago. I went in for the first time last week, just to get some new handlebars. I left with a whole new fit and a whole new level of comfort on the bike. On my ride the next day, I couldnt believe the difference in my performance.In the last 10 or so years that Ive been cycling, I have had at least 3 bike fittings with some of the top names in the bike fitting industry. Yet this was the first time I was allowed (and encouraged) to actually try the components they put on my bike to make sure that things felt good when I was actually riding on the road. This sounds like a very logical approach, yet every other fit session put me on a trainer and left me with some measurements and component recommendations. Despite these people being known as the best in their field, my previous bike fittings left me with only marginal comfort and performance increases. As far as Im concerned, Adventure Cycling is THE BEST in the bike fitting industry.The entire staff was incredibly helpful and incredibly friendly. Their knowledge of all of the things that can affect your comfort on the bike is second to none. I will certainly go to Adventure Cycling from now on, for any and all of my cycling needs. Thank you all so much!

MUST READ!!! I would give this place 10 Stars if I could. Took my mountain bike to Treads close to our home in Parker and basically got ripped off on a tune up for $130. Extremely disappointed. Bike didnt look, ride or feel a whole lot better than prior to the service. Zero confidence in the work performed. As soon as I loaded my bike onto the car I headed straight for ADVENTURE CYCLING. I called them while on the way to let them know that I was heading over cause it was almost 6 pm which is when they close. Got there a little after 6 pm. I was greeted at the door by a young lady named Kendra who was extremely helpful. My son and I were led to the service area where we met the owner Erik. The welcome and immediate after hours service we received was unexpected and ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! If you want HONEST, SUPER FRIENDLY, and TOP NOTCH service.......look no further. First time at Adventure Cycling and Im just blown away at how awesome the service was. THIS PLACE IS GOING TO BE OUR ONLY STOP FOR ALL OUR FAMILY BIKE NEEDS GOING FORWARD. Get this, not only did they start working on my bike right away, but they also took my sons bike which we just bought from Target a week ago and tuned it up for free on the spot since those bikes arent put together very well. Such an incredible experience buying my shoes and getting fitted for my new cleats. Im new to the sport and in terrible shape. The staff here are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Its totally a pro shop, but Erik made me feel like I was welcome with the best of them! Erik taught me a ton and in a very low pressure environment.

I seriously cant write a review good enough to do this awesome place justice! The staff there is incredibly professional and friendly and are very good at what they do as well. They will fix your bike well and at a very minimal cost compared to any other place I have ever been to for similar work, especially if you are a customer of theirs. Their bike quality is also amazing, no complaints. I have had a bike from them for two years and while it has needed some repairs as any well ridden bike would over that time, it still works great after a few tune ups that have cost me a fraction of what they would have elsewhere. An amazing shop run by awesome people, I would recommend them to anyone!

Erik and his shop came highly recommended to me, and now I will highly recommend him to others. Im on the casual end of the cycling spectrum, and Erik was far more interested in making sure I continue to have fun and catering to my goals than in selling me gear beyond my scope. That being said, it was clear that Erik knew his stuff and would be an asset to all cyclists. The personal touch and deference to the customer is worth the extra drive.

Was disappointed with my experience here. Had to do some work on my bike myself to make it rideable and the staff member spent more time lecturing me on how much more they knew about bikes, and how should I never attempt to do anything on my bike myself, than they did fixing the bike. I would have been annoyed but gotten over it had he at least fixed the bike. Unfortunately, the employee failed to fix my bike after telling me what an expert he was. Pro tip: don’t be condescending to your customers. Take their money when they’re offering it to you. Won’t be back and will recommend the same to my cycling friends in the area.

I have taken my bikes to Adventure Cycling for years. The guys are awesome. I rarely let anyone else touch my bike, other than the guys at Adventure.

Adventure Cycling understands customer service and they are exceptional at providing it. They speak honestly and from a position of experience. If they havent ridden a bike they will tell you so you can make an informed decision. Erik, in particular, goes out of his way to make the whole experience truly pleasurable and he always looks out for his customers. He isnt satisfied until you are satisfied. Have been there twice with small fix-up jobs (flat tire on a kids bike and gear shifter on a very used Schwinn) and they were quick and courteous and very reasonably priced. Ive purchased a bike from this shop a few years ago. It was a great experience. Face to face with the owner and seemingly skilled techs. Over the years Ive been back numerous times. The owner (still customer facing) understandably didnt remember me. But every time Ive been there theyve treated me the exact same. Ive been in with company bikes, silly fixes of my own and with a friend. Theyve fixed my silly jobs with no charge, gave me a fair analysis of my companies bike with no charge and helped Brooker a Craigslist bike deal with no charge. A significant fix on my bike was so fair that I decided to get other services on the bike (tune & wash) just as a thank you through the years. Hopefully this review will help extend my gratitude. The host was very pleasant to talk to. He offered a very good price for the bike rental. Couldn’t have been a better experience.

Stopped in today because I was having difficulty with my inner tube- the bike experts didnt hesitate to stop what they were doing to help me out! Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful! I just moved to Colorado and I am happy to have found my new go-to bike shop!!!!!!
