Took my car here a month/month and a half ago to have tires replaced/mounted/balanced. They cross threaded 3/4 of my lug nuts- they had shredded metal all through the inside and were a bear to remove with a 36 breaker bar. They also had one put on there so poorly and over-torqued that it sheared the stud coming off. I would not recommend a garage that cant be bothered to at least ensure that they properly install the only parts of a car that secure the whole assembly to the road. The only reason they got a second star from me is that they were able to fit me in next-day when I stopped by. Should not have taken them up on that...

Rescheduled three times with this location for a simple oil change. I called to confirm my appointment and was told I set my appointment @ 9 am on a Saturday (something I would never do) but still agreed to get my oil changed @ 1 pm just to get it finished and out of the way. I am just picking my car up now @ 4:40. There is no way that it takes three and a half hours for a simple oil change. Customer service is not a strong suit for theses gentlemen. I called to gather an estimate of when my car would be completed and was met with a very stand off-ish tone from Dave saying he would give me a call when my car was finished. If you are a young woman who is worried you won’t be treated fairly while getting routine maintenance on your vehicle DO NOT go here thinking you will gain a positive experience. It will be the opposite of that.

0 stars! This is a horrible shop. Absolutely horrible! Brought my car in for overheating and told them my cooling fan wasnt running. they upsold me on additional things that werent broken, and didnt fix the problem I came in for, as it overheated again the next day. I went back in and told them they needed to replace my cooling fan. They did after the 3rd time telling them, and gratefully did so at no charge. However, now the other parts they fixed that they didnt need to caused more problems. When I told the service manager David when I brought it back for the 4th time in a week, He laughed at me, and said they didnt know how to fix the problem, and told me to go to a dealer. They should NOT be mechanics, whatsoever! Dont go!

Had to go in a few time because Noone answered the phone and Noone was at the front when I first came. Other than that everything was great, they did exactly what I needed and my car is driving great.

I wish I could give a negative rating. This place is a den of thieves, dont get any service done here!!! Absolutely as dishonest as they come!! I had a serpentine belt changed here and the mechanic put it on wrong which caused my water pump to squeal. Then the manager and mechanic tried to get me to spring for a new water pump. Didnt do it. Manager refused to refund me my money. Called once again for an estimate on getting my brakes done. Pads and rotors replaced in the front. I repeatedly said replace the rotors not turn or machine the rotors. Estimate was $300 When they called after the brake inspection the price was $975. Because the calipers had to be replaced as well. They said calipers were $167. EACH!! I looked on line at the same auto parts store and they had calipers for $40 each. Plus the manager Dave said rotors were $125 each funny I found them for $44 each. Same store. I asked if they could use the cheaper parts since this was a beater car and they told me what model the parts were. They marked the parts up 100%.!!!! No way !!! that is highway robbery. But they did the oil change without my accepting the bid and tried to charge me $75 for high millage oil change. I had told him I didnt need the high millage oil change just the standard regular oil. These guys are total scammers and topwater floaters. The worst most dishonest garage Ive ever been to in my life. They suck and I hope the fleas from 1000% camels infest their groins. POS

I came in an and dropped off my car with an appointment at 8:00AM for an oil change. I came back exactly two hours later to find out they hadnt started. The guy tried to tell me that my car was next and that he thought he told me it was going to take a while. He did not tell me.

Took 5 hours to install new tires even with appointment. Unacceptable.

Unprofessional and disrespectful tossing my paperwork at me when asking questions regarding my service, did not at all do what I asked of them for my vehicle. Not only did they do the opposite of what I asked they even disregarded a request all together. Never going back to this location again, if I ever go to a pep boys in general. Also noticing grinding when I apply the brakes and drive and reverse highly unacceptable!

Good value, got the job done at a fair price and quickly. Did not oversell and did the job as promised. Would recommend for basic car needs, alignment, and tires.

Made an appointment via their website. Showed up to the location at the time of my appointment. Was told i was not in the system. He said there were a few cars in front of me and said that he can get me in the next day. Drove 500 feet to Big O Tires and got my car fixed in an hour and a half. Pep Boys really understaffed. Only the front desk guy, and was told the mechanic was on lunch.Update the computer system.

Dave montoja.He gave me 3 different prices the same day.one over the phone, one in person when I dropped off, and one when I called to see whats going on with the truck. He didnt even give me a invoice when I dropped it off, bad sales man, false advertising.When I got there, after giving me attitude over the phone and raising the price to 1200. He dropped the price down to $ 200 he said he forgot about the free tire?..Started at $843, then $900, now $1200 and now $1000 make up your mind.This kind of business is what people are afraid of, people like pep boys and Dave.Now he saw that I was on the parking lot talking to corporate and now he said he can help me out more. Sorry I work in tires shop before and So far this is the worst place Ive ever seen bad customer service, false advertisements, leaves you feeling like your getting ripped off.ZERO STARS

I made an appointment the night before for 9 AM, still sat there for THREE hours and then they didnt have time to complete my service, but still charged me full price. They didnt apply the coupon for making my appointment online and tried to charge me for things I KNOW my car didnt need. When I got home my dipstick said my oil tank was half empty (which I have on video).

Of all the Pep Boys, this location has one of the highest reviews! Ron Howard and Barry were very helpful, professional and friendly. They even went out of their way to give me a call back when I had called about a specific tire. This is the best experience Ive ever had when dealing with my car! These 2 deserve a raise for excellent customer service...juuuust saying! Thank your Ron & Barry!!!!

Avoid! State of management has Declined dramatically, and Ive been coming here for two years.I came back to get my oil changed, but it turns out the site scheduled it for the wrong store. When the manager realized what I did. He didnt offer to try to fit me in for the day or even reschedule. Just stood there with a smirk on his face. The kind of satisfied smirk you get from being right. Right that I didnt have a appointment when I simply walked in and said, Hello I have a appointment.. I tend to avoid places that take pleasure in losing a sale and loyal customer.

Good customer service and very professional. Took my car there to have them diagnose a check engine light. They Fixed the problem for a reasonable price. Two weeks later it came on again for the same thing, took it there and they fixed it free of charge and fast. Plus there open on Sundays!

Dont waste your time going to this shop, unless you want to be robbed. They will quote you insane prices for parts. In my experience they wanted to charge me double for a part that i needed replaced. Safe to say that I will be avoiding this shop like the plague, and let everyone I know do the same.

Refused to service my car without an appointment even though i was the first person there. Was quite rude about it...just flat-out said no they wouldnt without an appointment. Guess Ill need to cancel my pepboys card since it appears I wont be using it anytime here. And for the record, no where in the store or on the website, says that they only take appointments.

Needed a tire repaired quickly and they took me no problem! Will definitely do business there again.

Got a $1,350 brake job here. Nine months later and less than 10,000 miles brakes were grinding like crazy. Shop wanted more money to fix so we went to other location on leetsdale. They fixed issue under warranty but four months later the brakes were screwed up again. New store (now pep boys) wanted $400 more to fix. Told me tough luck and Taft they were not just brakes anymore so my advice to you is DONT USE unless you want to spend $1,750 on a brake job. Unbelievable!!!

Well I arrived 40 mins before they closed, the staff was very friendly and not rushed because they were closing soon. I bought my parts received all the help they could give me and went on my way.

They told me my rotors were bad because of significant rust and that it would cost 1025 to fix it. In reality they were just fine so it felt like they were just trying to get extra money out of it.

My bf took his car here to get his gasket replaced. 3 months later we had a problem with the oil leak. Had a different place take a took and told us the gaskets are leaking again and whoever put them in did it wrong. So we paid $600 for the problem to be broken again.
