Staff is very friendly and helpful even with the UPS package pick up which is new to them. Store and parking lot was clean. Better stocked than anywhere else during the pandemic
Did a curbside order. Used the app to let them know I had arrived. Waited almost 20 minutes. Had to go inside. Got it quickly then
Love Michaels. All my hobby items in one place. If you do any type of hobbies this is the place to go. The artwork they have there is spectacular and usually discounted. Many items for the home decorator are available. There is a frame dept in the back and is eager to help. The service is fantastic and the checkout lines are fast even when the store is busy! Great job Michaels
Friendly staff, with easy-to-navigate aisles. I will continue going to Michaels due to their customer service and non- divisive political stance.
The store is organized in a much better way than it used to. They have a big variety of crafts to choose from, my only complaint is that they could be better about stocking their products.
I have always liked Michaels. They have a good variety of crafts products. I have been shopping at Michaels for over 20 years. I am disappointed 😞 at times when the bathroom is not clean. However over al the store is great
Shoppers demand better experience. There should be no reason to have only one cashier when there are more then 3 people in line. I dont think the competition makes you wait in line for 15 minutes to give them money....
The staff at the checkout area was nice, the store was dirty and messy. Not set up like other Michaels locations, so it was difficult to find what I was looking for, plus there was no visible staff other than the cashier to ask for help, and he was busy checking out customers. The shelves were bare, so I didnt spend time looking around, just got what I needed and left. This location needs some serious help.
The layout is nice and easily accessible. The aisles are nicely spaced. Everytime I go in, the store is fronted and clean.
Staff has good customer service skills. Was there on may 29, 2021 at 12:42 p.m.One staff member helped me find what I needed and the cashier was customer friendly.
The young lady that helped in Michaels was wonderful. I didnt have enough yarn for my project so she went and got a ladder and found more. Shes a gem. Darling with the bright red hair!!
Great for crafting dont forget to use the coupons that they have easy to get online!!
I thought Michaels was just a fabric store. Noe a little of this and a little bit of thatNice and clean.
Good, friendly environment, they have anything and everything you need to do your crafts
I had to go to more than one Michaels to get enough of purple silk viola flowers for a small memorial centerpiece.
Ive never been to this location and I absolutely love it the people here were so nice they had great deals going on and Im going to continue to shop at this location its the best one Ive been to very nice very organized and clean
An easy in and out, grabbed the paints we wanted and checked out, efficient and friendly service.
Theyve rearranged the store, there were lots of empty shelves, the store was basically in disarray. I was still able to find what I was looking for.
Over priced and not as good of a selection as hobby lobby
Clean store, a lot smaller than hobby lobby. Long line but the cashiers got through us quickly. Went to pick up Vinyl for my Cricut and they had about an aisle and a half dedicated to this hobby. Lots of color options. They have military, senior and teacher discounts about 10%
I had a really bad experience here.TL:DR Billi the manager is rude, lies, and after everything still messed up my order. Go to Joanns.I placed an online order yesterday at 2:58pm for a class I taught today. Yes, I checked. I didnt get any updates, so I called the store around 5pm to get an update. I was put on hold for 20mins so I hung up. When I got off work, I drove to the store to ask in person. I walked in and saw the online pickup area and pressed the button for help. No one was paying attention to the alert apparently because eventually someone came by and asked if I had been helped. I said no. She struggled to figure out what was going on so called her manager (I think her name was Billi). Billi asked if I had gotten an update, I said no but its been several hours. She proceeded to rudely tell me that the cutoff to get an order same day was 3pm. First, thats not true. The website says 4pm so it was an outright lie. Second, even if that was true, then I had made it in right before the cutoff. I tried to be kind (I work in customer service) but she was just rude back. Finally she was like fine, just come back in 20-30 minutes. I went and got dinner and came back around 6:45, picked up my items, and drove home. Shortly after I realized that I hadnt gotten the glue sticks and she gave me the wrong pack of paper. I called when I noticed but I couldnt physically get back in time before close. The woman I spoke to was really kind (not Billi) and said I could come back today, but my class started at 9 and I am too exhausted at this point. I worked around it. Keep the glue sticks.
I love it its the best art store anyone has ever came up with they have everything may need for 2000 different projects
I really enjoy walking around and finding new artsy, fun stuff in Michaels! It makes me feel inspired!
Nice it had a lot of stuff workers could be a bit more happier
Wife and kids love it here. All your art needs in one store
I found what I was looking for. They have an enormous selection of all things artsy or craftsy... Its a great place.
Fun craft store. Great variety.
Always enjoyable. Staff is always nice and quick
They are great! Not always a great selection, but they always have nice customer service staff and the store is clean. They arent necessarily busy, but there is only one register open, so a little of a wait.
Clean store courteous staff. Great experience
The cashier went out of her way to help. It was greatly appreciated.
Always have what Im looking for. Cashier associates are always nice.
I wish I remembered her name but the staff are super helpful! Not the largest selection of fabrics, but all of the hobby stuff I needed for a last minute hand made gift. This store is super clean and organized as well. I went to the store over in the Town center at Aurora, and the difference was night and day. Im not sure whats going on at that other store but it was absolutely rough. This will be my go to location from now on. And this is a personal gripe but every store has a section of fake flowers that just look a mess. I know this store cant do anything about (maybe?) but corporate needs to revise this layout in all their stores. Staff 10/10
Prefer Michaels to hobby lobby because hobby lobby stuff is...too vanilla. Staff here was very helpful today.
Amazing place, You can find many supplies here, Very clean and well stocked. 💆
There was a good selection of yarn that surprised me by both quality and price. Not very crowded and I felt safe shopping there. Covid protocols were in place and were followed.
Great friendly and Price are affordable especially for hobbies.
Its good and they have lots of collection for art & craft
Love crafts all kinds
Love the store to pick up blank ts and heat transfer product.
This store just seems run down and they were out of so many things. It was weird.
Very well organized for picking up an online order. Other Michaels should take note
I was buying a gift for my sisters birthday and Danielle was so helpful and patient. The check out line was long because there was only 1 cashier. But I noticed Danielle hopped on the register making, what seemed like a long wait, very quick. Thank you for your help.
Always have what I need!
With covid going on, and hobby lobby closed on Sundays, I would recommend Michaels as one of your main crafting stores. Only down fall is the lines can get pretty long.
I started going to Michaels because Hobby Lobby decided to go all fundamentalist.Im glad I made the change. This is more of a craft store. The deals are great and they have a military/veteran discount.
Friendly staff all types of crafts and reasonably priced. One of my favorite stores
Sky and Baily were amazing. Both were overly helpfully, friendly to the max and so polite. They went out their way to help me with my projects and find any and everything I needed. Thank you ladies. Definitely will be back. Last the store was clean and plenty of registered were open to check you out.
The store is a lot more organized under new management. Makes shopping much less overwhelming
This Michael is organized kinda funny. But once you find your way around, they have beautiful stuff. And the staff is very friendly.
I have always liked Michaels great customer service and great products and reasonable prices
Good store for crafts. Its my go ton place for frames.
Good prices on art supplies. Shop here before Hobby Lobby.
Michaels is great! Excellent prices and the curbside pickup was awesome, less than 5 minutes wait time and I was on my way!
Felt unwanted there, between the staff ignoring you, to the security tags and cameras all over the store. Ill stick to hobby lobby!
There with my daughter. She Need some items she couldnt find anywhere else . Thank you for asking.
Well organized and clean store. Line was rather long to checkout. There were only two cashiers and a lot of people waiting, but they worked quickly and I didnt have to wait too too long.
Good store, open on Sundays (a plus), friendly staff and decent prices
Not a lot of choices for craft and art set. I was not thrilled
The internet says that they have Really Useful Boxes. I did not find any.
Love this Michael’s. I do wish they had baskets available, carts only right now, BUT I do understand, pandemic and all.
Helpful staff and is like a candystore to a crafter. price is better than some competitors depending on the item
Love this Place! I can officially say its my second home. Lol
Didn’t spend too much time in here but my wife got everything she needed
Sorry, never been inside just cruise by in my RT once or twice a week. Looks popular!!
Always have what I need and great rewards
They had what I was looking for. Being an artist, this is like a candy store for me.
Super nice staff!
The store in Aurora at Alameda and 225 is fantastic! Its clean, orderly, and their staff is very friendly and helpful.
Salright. They could add more machinations or electronic art tools to their inventory. Also, water-based paint pens/markers: Lots more. But otherwise theyre the go-to craft store.
I love Micheals and this is a really great location. The only problem I have with it is if you’re there anywhere close to closing you’re really rushed and the employees tend to rudely stand right next to you staring at you asking if you need help over and over, basically implying you should get what you need and get out immediately even if it’s still 10 or 15 minutes until closing. I understand people want to get home after a long day at work but you’re not closed until six so there’s really no need to rush anyone. You’re not going to get anywhere any faster by doing that. And in my experience at other locations such as Southlands, they don’t even make it apparent that you’re there close to closing. Once I actually was there till 615 when I finally checked out and I hadn’t even noticed they had closed yet because they are so respectful and patient you can tell they truly value their customers.
So many great things! The store was clean and the people were friendly
Michaels inventory is really low. They have nothing on Hobby Lobby!
Love❤️ it.... Im like a kid in a candy 🍭 store when I shop here at Michaels
Very nice respectful people
The employees didnt care that there were people walking around without masks. They checked out when I brought it to their attention. I mean that is just endangering your customers.
I have many good memories of this place.
For some reason stores like this have become the new hot spot since Covid...prior to this whole pandemic I would go in...several employees were easy to find if I needed anything and would be in and out fast...after covid....no employees ANYWHERE to be found...i was looking to buy some locked up items but walked around the whole store...looked like they only had employees (3) to run the registers...since i couldnt find anyone I just said forget it and waited in line for 25 mins to buy the few items I needed or else I would of just left and purchased stuff online
Im really sad to write this review because Ive been a loyal Michaels customer for many years. In the time of Coronavirus, curbside pickup is a lifeline for some of us. But at this Michaels (at least) its a cruel joke. You call and are put on hold forever. Finally go into the store get stuck in a line behind people not wearing masks only to transferred to another line where you wait forever behind people without masks and you wonder why you are risking your health for something you can order on Amazon and have delivered a day later. I dont blame the workers I blame poor planning on the part of management. If you cant actually deliver on curbside service dont pretend to offer it. As an immune compromised person Im not willing to do this again. Ill be buying my craft products elsewhere in the future. Sad that it ended this way.
Great selection of multiple products.
I was helped by an employee named Samiya at this store. It was at the end of the night before closing and myself and another person were waiting to be checked out. Her co-worker that was previously checking out customers, decided to leave Samiya alone and not help finish checking us out. I appreciated Samiya having a good attitude, as I felt terrible that her coworker refused to help her and actually laughed at her as she was leaving out the front door. This was incredibly off-putting, but the fact that Samiya was so nice and did not make me feel bad for checking out so many items that I was purchasing made the situation much better. Thank you so much for your help that evening.
Michaels is so great!!! Ive heard some great things from other people about Michaels and low and behold, they were right. They had a wide variety of everything, and I mean everything. So many options. I cant believe that it took me this long to go to Michaels, cant believe I didnt come there sooner! Best believe that Im going to be going to Michaels a lot more now!
I went in to look at picture frames. Aaron Bros does their frames. Anyway, they had an ad that mentioned getting an in stock picture frame and having the picture and frame gift wrapped. The gentleman working there helped me and I purchased a fabulous frame, but the only wrapping I received was brown paper. A little ribbon and a bow made it look good. The gift was well received, too. I like Michaels and I highly recommend them. Its also a great place to by crafts to keep the kids away from the TV, etc.
I was looking for a specific item and though they didnt have it, the salesperson went above and beyond for me and looked everywhere and got me a great alternative product!
Love the selection but I do wish your blank shirt stock went up to 5x. I always end up spending more than I plan too. They also have amazing sales on cardstock and vinyl all the time!
Michaels is just a great store especially if youre very creative and artistic. You need any DIY supplies they would more likely than not have it. This location specifically is decent but a bit small for my taste.
Great selecting and helpful kind staff!
Variety and a lot of different hobbies supplies but its a little bit pricey. Overall I would recommend because itll have what you are looking for or something close to it.
The have good parking. Easy to navigate products and have customer service
As always this is a fun place to shop at. And always a place to find inspiration for your hobbies. 😎👍
The picture framing employees are very helpful and they do excellent work.
