Quality of service has gone down in the past year. Everyone was standing around the cash register half heartedly glancing at incoming customers to ask if they needed anything. I wanted to save money by having me lawnmower blade resharpened. Someone told me they are usually ready in 3 hrs. I come back the next week ready to mow my lawn and now Im told it may be 2 weeks more before I get my blade back. I wish I would have know before hand how long it would take. I would have just bought a new one had I know how long it takes.

Nothing special. I just got what I came for and left.

Always helpful staff. Rather knowledgeable. Wide selection of tools and equipment. The new building is much more open and carries far more inventory than the last. Dave is especially helpful and knowledgeable.

When a business is open untill 6, normally you would stay open untill the time you’re telling customers you’re open to. it’s not the best for business when you come to a store in a rush to get something 20 minutes before they close and they’ve decided they’re going to close early. not only that but they ignored the calls when we tried calling to ask to come in because they shouldn’t be closed. not impressed. I get it’s a weekend but either way you’re going to be there untill closing time :)

I am 52 years old and kind of a diy kind of guy. I have been in many orange stores as well blue ones. I am not knocking them in any way. I travel for my job and recently went to Ace Hardware out of convenience. First I went there 2 weeks ago looking for a hand saw that the orange and blue stores did not have. To my surprise they had it! Today I was looking for a rake with the stiff metal tines like your dad or grandpa probably had. Out of habit I went to the other stores first but was unsuccessful. I almost forgot about Ace but happened to be driving past and thought I would give it a shot. If course they had it. Not really surprising to me at this point. Most importantly about Ace is their employees. They have the friendliest and most helpful I have met anywhere. The only name I remember from this particular store is Logan. They were all great but he stood out because I talked to him the most. Great personality and a definite asset to this establishment. Ace does great at finding people with a personality to fit the job. Kudos to them, all of their employees, and especially Logan. Btw, this particular store is in Auburn Indiana. I recommend going a little out of your way to shop there when needed.

Helpful and knowledgable staff

This place is a joke! Took in some screens to have them replace. We recieved a call saying they were done so we called them back to see how much they would cost. The girl who answered the phone was very rude and basically said she didnt know and hung up on us. So we waited a couple of days, trying to give the benefit of the doubt that maybe since they just got them done they didnt have the cost figured out yet. My husband called back 2 days later and was told they were going to cost 64.49. We went to pick them up and was told they were going to cost $111. When we said that that was not the price we were given nor was it what we had put in our budget since it was almost twice the price. We were told we were basically told tough luck we could pay it or not get our screens back. I was planning on getting our paint to repaint our house and materials for some other home improvement projects we are doing from them. I will never buy anything from them again!

Ace in auburn is easy.access, always friendly people to help you, always seem to have what I need. I can shop and eat Carmel corn at the same time.

I needed to replace an S valve on my bathroom sink.Mike saw me coming, and sold me $86 of the wrong thing. Of course I didnt know it was wrong until I opened the packages and tried to use it. When I took it back, because I had tried to install what Mike told me I needed, Mike wouldnt authorize the return.I should have gone to Ft.Wayne, and you should too. Youll have knowledgeable help and be money ahead.Maybe they screw customers over to pay for their shiny new building. Regardless, Lowes and Menards are 20 minutes away. Even Home Depot in town is better than this place.

Rude people! All of them. They treated my dad like dirt when he rented a Uhaul through them. Never again and i will make sure to never recommend anyone i know to ever step foot in there. Very unprofessional business. You should be ashamed of yourselves!!

Bought some sealant (lexel) from here advised from the staff that it will seal with water dripping. Lexel did not seal what i needed and now im suck with a tube of useless matter. Thank ace staff.

Had what I wanted and staff was friendly and helpful.

Ace is the simple place.

I called up and asked the lady about their uhauls. She transferred me to this guy named Dave. I started to ask him questions about their trucks and he got really nasty and said I already told you what it was. Sounds like they need to get a new uhaul person!!!!! They lost my business!!!!!

Took little bit to get helped but once they did they were very helpful.

The lady who answers the phone had no clue what I talking about after explaining 3x. then the repair guy had to go into detail about things I wasent even asking about and on top of it all they are over priced for screen repair 26$ for a 5 min job and material is only 3$ for the size I need. Find a new store
