Always had great experiences with the store. First pharmacy experience today. Horrible wait times, staff ignored customers as long as they could. Actually heard the customer in front of me on the phone to switch pharmacies while we waited in line for 30 minutes. I understand everyone is busy, but definitely wont ever go there again for pharmacy services.
Understaffed. Long waits. Do not try same day delivery if you actually expect something same day. They use door dash and noone works for door dash. Walgreens does not bother to tell you that and the Walgreens wesite and app just have misinformation about that. I understand its a sign of the times, but it is not like this is new. They need to stop advertising the details of their same day delivery capabilities when they know they have none. That makes it lying and is a great way to lose their remaining customers. Just be honest and people will understand. I am taking my business elsewhere since they cant seem to figure that out.
For some reason, Ive stuck to using them for years, but things seem to be getting worse and worse, unfortunately. Ive learned to check my bag before I leave because theyve given me the wrong quantities of medicines too many times. Almost every time I put in for a prescription to be filled, which is fairly often, they dont have enough in stock or there is some kind of issue with my prescription or insurance, which they say they are handling. Theyre not. I have to eventually call and handle it. Most recently, I have a prescription waiting on an insurance issue of some sort, although Ive been using the same medicine and insurance for many years. I gave them a few days to sort it out themselves as they said they would, but the issue remains, so I tried calling the pharmacy to get it figured out. I stepped away from work to handle this really quickly, or so I thought. I got put on hold for 20 minutes, just to be hung up on. I called back, obviously got put at the end of the line, held for 21 minutes, only to be hung up on again. I called the store, not the pharmacy, to tell them what keeps happening and they just said they were busy. I understand the hold, but why keep hanging up? Its also a pain to get out of the parking lot. Im finally ready to try a new pharmacy.
This is absolutely the slowest pharmacy Ive ever been to in my life. Even compared to pharmacies (including other Walgreens) Ive used in DC, Virginia, Illinois, California, North Carolina, and Florida. See photo, I sat on hold for 39 minutes and still never spoke to anyone. They just kept picking up and putting me automatically back on hold. Horrible customer service. *If* you ever get to speak with someone, they are downright rude. The pharmacy staff has no business having any sort of job that requires interaction with customers. I keep making the mistake of giving them the benefit of the doubt and another chance to prove me wrong, but next time I have prescriptions refilled Ill be going to Publix.
I cant believe that Tricare switched from CVS to Walgreens. To get any vaccine takes an enormous amount of waiting time. The BATHROOMS are the most disgusting I have ever seen, filthy toiles and sinks and broken toilet tissue holders. It made me feel like I left dirty with bacteria on my clothes. Management just needs to go to TARGET and check out the bathrooms and learn that its important to provide clean environment!!!
Drive thru line is allowing patients to sit in drive thru and wait for fill after dropping off script…. Called store to speak with management and was disconnected intentionally. Waited in drive thru line for an hour after being told inside it would be ready in 15 minutes. Worst Walgreens experience and I will not be using this chain anymore.
Shopping at Walgreens is like playing a gamble. You find a good deal and clip the coupon. Then, you see the item is available at the nearest store. You order it and wait for pick up, but then you get an email which shows the item is not available at the store. You want to purchase the same item from another Walgreens store or online, but you realize the system assumes you used the coupon and doesnt offer the same coupon. I had this issue several times. Once, one of my orders was canceled because of the same reason, but I saw the product at the shelf in the same day. Walgreenss online system has a lot of problems. Waste of time!
I made an appointment to get a covid vaccine at 4:30. I waites on line for an HOUR, jusy to get to the counter and be told that they ran out of the vile and had to thaw another one. I then asked if I came back later after another thawed if Id have yo wait another hour in line and was told yep. How is it that you have ONE LINE for prescription pick ups and vaccinations and theres no communication while waiting in line. They make you stand there and pray youre not wasting your time. I am beyond upset!!! People with appointments should be priority!
Sadly the SLOWEST Walgreens I have ever been to… seriously go to CVS across the street.
I called to transfer a prescription and different people in the pharmacy kept picking up the phone and putting me back on hold. Only two individuals told me to hold a little longer. After 10 minutes they picked up the phone and hung it up. I called back because I thought it was a mistake. Again I went through the same thing for an additional 20 minutes.
Avoid this Walgreens!!! The employees were so rude when I asked a simple question about printing pictures. I first asked the woman working the register at the photo center and she was short with me and got the manager. The manager came back and was snarky from the start and when I asked my question again about printing photos she did not attempt to help me and was being rude without cause. We are never coming back to this Walgreens again.
This pharmacy at this Walgreens has the worst service I’ve ever experienced. Not only are they excruciatingly slow, but they have literally given me the wrong medicines that belonged to someone else. They have told me on several occasions that my medicine was not in yet, but when I say “my doctor said she sent it in” they respond with “oh yeah here it is”. Not sure how that makes sense. The staff is also rude. One time I was talking in the drive through and she just hung up the phone and walked away. So I proceeded to go inside and speak to the pharmacist. If I could describe this Walgreens with two words they would be careless and negligent.
It takes a literal hour every time i need to pick up my RX... it’s ridiculous.
TOTALLY Agree about just kids working there and being jerks. I came in at 11:55pm, not because I wanted to, but because I was having an allergic reaction to some medication and needed benadryl. I mistakenly thought they were open 24 hours. Some young blond manager jerk caught me coming in the door and said, Just so you know, we close in 5 minutes. I mean, I guess you can come in if you need something but you need to leave quickly. Then, he proceeded to follow me around the store about 15 feet away; not to help find what I needed, but to either act like I was going to steal or rush me out. He followed me all the way back to the register and sat there sighing until I could leave. I will literally never give that Walgreens another penny.
You make an appointment for vaccine and they let people who do not have an appointment jump ahead of you. 35 mins past appointment time and no help.
Customer service was great, I felt welcomed as soon as I walked in the door. The cashier ally helped me find everything I was looking for and got my photos ready for me very quickly.
Every time I have done business there the staff has always been super helpful and polite. They have even gone out of their way to put back important medications that I need for the next day until my insurance would cover it. The pharmacist Kelsey and especially the tech Alexis are always very friendly and helpful (hope I got those names right). Also one other male tech that worked the shift before at night communicated with the morning shift my needs and accommodated me in the best way. Will continue to go there
Worst Walgreens in town, one of the female manager is rude and useless. AVOID this Walgreens.
Great pharmacy! Got my prescription ready for me on the way from the doctor, and helped me find some over the counter medicine. Thank you for the great customer service.
The people in the pharmacy were super helpful and very nice. I am definitely filling all of my prescriptions there from now on. They did their best to save me money and even applied a discount card for me that I didnt have. They treat you like a person instead of just a number. I would highly recommend them to everyone.
I started using this pharmacy a few months ago because Kroger was treating me badly but this place is also something serious.. I was trying to get a prescription filled for my son before leaving town & because I didnt want to wait on insurance when I asked how much it was in cash was told a couple hundred dollars but when I called back & spoke with someone else wasnt that much always telling me 1 thing then doing another then they judge people because of what the medication is for.. The way they treat ppl is ridiculous & if your job is so bad that you have to lie get another job& lose the attitudes I get up early every morning with all my kids wishing I had a job like that& yall cant even be nice to the innocent people that are not doing anything wrong
Everyone in pharmacy is super helpful and friendly. Especially Madison who worked so hard dealing with my insurance company so that I wouldnt have to pay out of pocket. She really saved the day.
Abby was wonderful. Came to check me out as soon as she saw me. Standard Walgreens. Great service.
READ BOTTOM LINE AT END if you dont want to read this paragraph.I have had mixed experiences at this store. The STORE part is fine. The PHARMACY is another story. I have had mixed experiences with them, from some pharmacists being competent and outstanding, to some being downright rude and dumb. I tutored/ taught organic chemistry when I was an undergrad and have had many arguments with them over medication. I have had them get my dosages wrong many times (telling me to take to much). On top of this many times they treated me like I was a criminal for trying to get medicines with no street value. Other times those medicines that did have street value, were handed over to me like candy. Some of the employees also were not aware of basic pharmacy policy, upon which I had to remind them of. Needless to say many of them can be rude when you question there blatant incompetence.BOTTOM LINE: go during peak hours. Know what and how much to take. Then double check when you get home. Remain calm through the rudeness or plan on taking your business else where.
I have never seen a pharmacy tech treat a customer so poorly. The pharmacist did not bother to turn around and address the tech’s behavior and after “helping” me the tech turned around to another tech and made fun of me in clear line of site. There is no reason anyone working in the medical industry should treat a patient/customer with such poor manners and outright disrespect. I will never return to this location and will be working on changing my insurance so that I never have to return to another Walgreens store. (Publix, here I come!) As someone that has worked as a pharmacy tech and is currently in school to become a pharmacist myself I cannot imagine how this behavior could be seen as acceptable and believe that someone in charge should have addressed it as soon as it began. So disappointed in the entire interaction.
Honestly, I stop here sometimes to pick up quick items instead of dealing with the crowds in grocery stores. AND its one of the few places you can actually use Android Pay and Apple Pay lol
You can see a commonality in all these comments. The pharmacy is the WORST. Taking my business elsewhere.
I was told i could not receive black tar heroin at this locationthe yung woman was nice though
Love them but really wish it didnt take so long to get meds filled. My only complaint
I went in the store to have a prescription filled for some ulcer meds and i do not have insurance. The pharmacist came out and sat down with me to show me the cost of the prescription. It was about $180. She explained to me that I could get the exact same meds over the counter and just double the dose to get the proper strength. She took me to the location of the meds and handed me what I needed...$34! They were extremely busy, but she still took the time to help me make a financially wise decision instead of just selling me something.
The photo center didnt give me a large portion of my online order. Check your orders before leaving!
Substituted generic without authorization. Refused to make it right. Had to call corporate who provided a gift card for value and suggested a way to prevent issues.
This is literally the rudest pharmacy. They are just a bunch of little kids in there and they are so rude. I have dealt with them many times and can personally say every last employee working there is a butthole.
