This store is great as a standalone. The weekly sales turn your visit into a worthwhile time. Looking for a sportscoat elsewhere I forgot about this place until my dad reminded me of it. Maybe because its set in a mall thats decaying from lack of foot traffic; this my 4 star rating.

Prices were reasonable. Lines werent long. Friendly cashiers.

Great deals to be found here. Coupons to be found both online and in stores. Prices were slashed today but items are picked over now being so close to Christmas. Still, plenty of good items available at reasonable prices.

Shopped at JCP FOR OVER 50 years, bought our 4 children all their school clothes,++++ and now sad to see the way things,no help at check out stations or on the floor,guess they will be closing many stores soon,if not all. I have a good suggestion. A GOOD catalog like years ago, the public loves to order on line $$$$$the store

I do like the clothes but i didnt like the fact that the item i purchased the cashier went through the pockets as if i stole something.

A small, but nicely kept up store without the big JCP stores clothes laying on the floor! They seemed to have grouped clearance items in a back corner of the store. Plus Bass Pro is in the same mall to give each their own shopping spaces!

They are having their store closing sale will be sad when they leave have shopped here many years always liked the clothes, and employees were always nice.

I think the customer service is great, the employees are friendl, they take returns without attitude and thoroughly try to make checkout as easy as possible. The plus size department gets smaller and smaller, not good, you force people to go out-of-town to shop!

Kind of an unsung location. But great selection, clean store and friendly service. Not as big or progressive looking as some locations, but definitely a good store.

This is one of the few places left in Auburn where one can find decent clothing. Unfortunately, it has become increasingly hard to do so in recent years, as JCP has faltered a bit. The selection has dwindled a bit, and I miss the days when JCP would be bursting at the seams. That said, I purchased my most recent suit there, and it is of decent quality and fit. I do make sure to browse through the store whenever I visit the mall, and I usually buy something.

It has gone WAY downhill since the last time i was in there. The store isnt very clean. The fitting room was piled with clothes. And some lady employees stared at me and my daughter so hard we left.

Tried to order a shirt online at the store. Because the price was under $25, I would have to pay shipping to have it delivered to the store. I will find the shirt somewhere else. I should be able to get free shipping when its shipped to the store. Ive been a customer for over 25 years. This really disappoints me about JCPenneys.

Fantastic Black Friday sales still going on after Noon. The sales were everywhere! Only bad part, the few shopping carts were being used and couldnt find shopping baskets. I would have shopped more, but difficult to do when arms are full. Couldnt look at much. Saved $247 in one trip.

Very nice store just did not have what I was looking for.

4 years ago my husband and I bought my engagement ring originally from the JCPenney in Syracuse. However tonight I had to send my ring out for the 4th time in 4 years because the prongs keep bending and tonight the stone fell out this time and is lost forever. I skated in just before they closed and patiently waited for them to finish with the customer ahead of me. By the time they finished with the customer in front of me the store had closed (not due to the staff but the customer). Lori at the jewelry counter was more than gracious to still take care of me and get my ring sent out to be repaired. The Lifetime warranty is more than worth it to buy with your jewelry. The ladies closing tonight were so sweet and took great care of me! THANK YOU!!

The clerence section is to big overwhelming if you ask me. Not that I dont love a great deal but if you kept prices lower to begin with the clerence section would not have to be so big. Just saying!!

This is one of the anchors for a dyeing mall but, the staff here are really great and the selection is awesome. I wish they were located closer to Auburn so that they would have more people visit them.

I know this is no fault of the store employees but I am so frustrated now that I have to vent. In mid November I ordered 2 pair of Levi jeans on line, to be delivered to the store. Received an email saying that they were in the store. Drove out there to pick them up, the package contained 2 pair of dress pants. Received a refund and reordered the jeans. Again received an email that they were in the store. Again I drove out there to pick them up. This time the package contained 2 pair of socks instead of jeans. Again I received a refund and had to reorder the jeans. This is really unacceptable to me. Very poor service. Who cant tell 2 pair of socks from 2 pair of jeans. I am very frustrated and dont feel compelled to order further from your company. As I first stated, this is no fault of your employees but this complaint should certainly be passed on to the proper location. A very disgruntled customer.

The service was terrible, assistants left security devices on the merchandise after items were paid for. They were not knowledgeable of current sales or coupons and were generally unhelpful and unfriendly. No gift boxes were provided. The quality of the j c penny stores has sadly gone way down hill.
