Marlye made picking out my wedding dress so fun and so personal. The whole concept is such a great idea. We did something a little different than their norm and took my moms wedding dress (she is so much shorter and more petite than me) and they were able to take A LOT of it and make it into a whole new design. While it’s not her whole dress, I still feel like I get that super special feeling of wearing my moms dress down the aisle on my wedding day. I was just so comfortable with every decision I made, and Marlye was so helpful, and I cannot wait to see the finished product!! I just couldn’t be happier with deciding to use Build-A-Bride Auburn!

Getting my wedding dress through Build-A-Bride™ was the best experience! The bride curator was fantastic to work with and she knew exactly what type of dress I was looking for! With the lace top I had over my dress, I was able to wear that during the ceremony and take it off for the reception to give my same dress a whole new look. I was absolutely head over heels with the pockets in my dress and was able to get hand-sewn buttons all the way down the back of the dress. I am still absolutely obsessed with my dress. 10/10 recommend using Build-A-Bride™ to design your dream dress for your perfect day!

I had an amazing time at Build-a-Bride. Marlye is so knowledgeable about every gown and does a wonderful job about listening to feedback and finding exactly what the bride is looking for. Despite being stressed and nervous about shopping for a wedding dress, the entire experience was incredibly enjoyable and I felt very respected and welcomed the entire time.

I enjoyed being able to design my own dress in my home and it was made perfectly for me and by me. I knew it would be different and something I felt totally comfortable in because I was able to design it and mix and match all the pieces. I had one piece that I wore for the ceremony and was able to take it off for the reception - which gave it two different appearances. I also enjoyed being surrounded by the closest people to me during this day and to make so much better it was in our home so I was totally myself. It was like playing dress up with a bunch of options and opinions, which were greatly appreciated. They were not too pushy and never once did I feel out of my comfort zone or pushed in one direction or the other.P.S. the dress is made out of amazing material - it poured on my wedding day, my wedding was outside and the bottom of my dress was black by the end of the night, but came right out at the dry cleaners with no tears or rips!! Highly recommend these dresses and this group of ladies!!!

What an amazing experience we had with Marlye and Build-A-Bride Auburn! Due to some unforeseen circumstances, we were in a last minute time crunch and needed a custom piece made and wedding dress alterations a month before my daughter’s wedding.Marlye was incredible and went right to work making the impossible happen! The Heidi Elnora French lace top was GORGEOUS and exactly what my daughter envisioned on her wedding day! The dress turned out more perfect than we could have ever imagined! Gin worked her magic on the wedding dress alterations making it fit perfectly! I can’t say enough wonderful things about Marlye and Build-A-Bride Auburn and HIGHLY recommend every bride making this her first stop when looking for a wedding dress!
