They installed a lift kit on my Airstream. The communication was great. The work excellent. I screwed up and showed up on the wrong day. They were nice enough to accommodate me. Otherwise, I would have had to drive the Airstream hours away and come back again. I plan to use them in the future to make various off road mods to my truck and Airstream.

These guys might be wizards. I towed them my Jeep with the transmission cooler lines all torn apart from when I tried to fix it myself. I had thrown away the old ones and realized that nobody stocks the correct replacement anymore. The guys in Auburn were basically able to custom fab new lines without any reference and get it to function well and look pretty close to factory.I had spent hours trying to figure it out myself but after a while I had to admit defeat. I’m so glad I chose this shop to take over for me. Other shops refused to even touch it.The guys in Auburn Car Repair know their stuff and they do so much more than just swap parts. They may not be cheap but you get your money’s worth in their expertise. True mechanics are a dying breed but you can find them here.

I was experiencing surging while driving my car. One shop told me (without even popping the hood) that I needed a new transmission. Another shop said that I needed new spark plugs. I brought my car here after my fiancee had a great experience. My car was diagnosed and fixed same day. Turns out I just needed the transmission serviced. I also had issues with my cabin fan not working. All of the repairs were made in a very timely manner and at a price I feel was reasonable.

Expensive!Quoted but ended up paying more at the end of the day. And I have to bring it back in “a week” coz there’s an issue, A WEEK that I can’t use my vehicle. after that they charge me AGAIN for two hours and I don’t think that is two hours of labor because I was there waiting. And left a mark/scuff.

I went into Auburn offroad last week to get Bilstein leveling struts installed on my truck with an alignment. They knew exactly what to do, and offered recommendations for best settings and fitment. These guys clearly know what they are doing, and left me with complete confidence in their work. The labor rate was fair and honest. John and team are awesome! They installed an ARB dual compressor using Grimm mount on my Jeep JLU. They did a perfect install and on time. They have a waiting room with Wifi so I was able to work and in 3 hours the install was done as quoted. John and team also walked me through all of the new capabilities of the compressor and gadgets that go with it. I have found my new 4 wheel drive install shop! Looking at doing solar panel system next with this team. I was super impressed with professionalism and quality of work!

My experiences with John and his colleague Jason have been totally positive. I have taken my truck here twice with excellent results and felt very fairly dealt with.Theres nothing more unsettling than the feeling that youre being taken advantage of when you have your car serviced. You WONT be scammed here. They wont sell you parts that you dont need and wont pad their labor charges beyond what is legitimately necessary to do the job right. I recommend them without qualification.

John and his shop are the place to go for any off-road installation. I recently had his shop lift my JL 2Dr Rubicon with an Old Man Emu lift with BP-51’s shocks. John is extremely knowledgeable and helped with the selection of 315 size tires with proper wheel spacers. This allowed me to keep my OEM rims. Additionally he is quick to reply and answer all questions after the installation. I can honestly say the ride is better than stock! Any off roader will tell you this is no easy task. You may find a cheaper price else where but his prices are competitive. Him and his staff work left me with a very good impression but it’s the follow up and skill that sealed the deal. They are also family owned and easily puts the bigger off-road shops to shame I certainly will be returning for future upgrades. My experience with his business thus far you get what you pay for! Jon and his team showed poor communication skills, but we’re able to fix a complicated issue after two trips. Unfortunately, my Jeep was parked outside the shop overnight while being serviced and left unlocked. Many belongings were stolen and Jon showed little to no regret, and offered nothing in terms of compensation. My emails have since been ignored, this is a shady shop, would advise anybody else to try somewhere else.

I had Auburn Car Repair and Offroad install some uncommon fiberglass fender flares on my Jeep XJ about one and a half years ago. I called about 15 shops, including body shops and Olympic 4x4, trying to find someone willing to do it at a reasonable price. This place was the only willing to do it. They did a great job and I love how it looks.

Solved my service engine light problem that other shops could not figure out. Very thorough work. They took the time to get it right. Happy I finally found a shop I can trust.

John is the man. I first started having him work on my beater honda in 2015ish. I’ve put on 200,000 miles skimping on the bare minimums for maintenance and John’s extremely hard work and incredibly low quotes have kept it running despite me being pretty much broke all the time. I am not exaggerating when I say I would’ve lost my transportation to work and back and would have become homeless if I didn’t find John and his abilities. I couldn’t have afforded keeping my car running any other way. He always works harder and does more detailed work for about 70% of the cost of the closest competition. When other mechanics would punish me for leaving them a heaping pile of trash to work on, John quotes me the lowest he can on high quality parts he knows I can depend on driving super hard on commuting daily. I will always return to John simply on principle because he has saved my car so many times! I don’t trust any other repair shop..... thank you John, God bless....

They came in solid for me when I needed some springs for my King coilovers swapped out. They squeezed me into their busy schedule and made it happen.

I wanted to find a mechanic that knows Jeeps. Not the cheapest, but a fair price and great work.

They tried to rig my vehicle in an effort to get more money from me. I was wise enough to locate a 15 amp fuse that had been tampered with. After replacing it my truck ran as it should and I was off. Happily ever after.

No attention to detail! They put my outside brake pads on backwards, and made my exhaust pipe rattle against my transmission. They must be too rushed, they should hire more mechanics and do a proper job!
