I am a loyal Kay customer. I appreciate the national branches. My husband started buying me jeweler from Kay when we lived in Lansing, he bought my engagement ring and our wedding bands in San Diego when we lived there. I use the Great Lakes Crossing outlet now for jewelry cleaning, repair and warranty inspection. I had a wonderful experience there at my last inspection in July 2021. I had my 2 young daughters with me, one who needed quality earrings due to metal allergy. We were well cared for by the representative who was so tentative to what my 7 year old wanted and my budget. We went back a few days later after an issue with the earring back and we were met with another kind and patient associate who quickly, painlessly and free of charge helped us get a proper earring back. Great customer care! Highly recommend.

Loved my experience Yonna is so cool and personable. I was not buying anything only there to get my engagement ring cleaned — HOWEVER I would’ve bought anything she was selling just because she was that personable. It’s important to make a personal connection before pushing for a monetary one and Yonna is wonderful at that. It felt like I was stopping by to visit a friend and get my ring cleaned. Go see Yonna! Everyone should be able to experience customer service like that!

Go across the plaza to the other store. I was completely ignored because of my age. Marissa, an employee cant say she didnt see me when she literally squeezed behind my kids not saying or acknowledging our presence. So I did my purchase across the plaza. The other employee did apologize but my advice is to go to the other store. We were asked if we needed help three times in there. Totally different values in that store

Last two times I went to the store they where closed. Online it showed they should have been open took my business elsewhere. On the last visit I showed up at 320 pm, there was a sign on the gate that said on break til 4. I came back at 415 gate still down same sign on it, waited a little while no one ever came back. Will not be going back.

AVOID shopping here! There are a lot of other jewelers in the area that will treat you better. My wife has taken her ring to this location many times to get the prongs inspected and cleaned. She lost the slip that shows the record and of course that is when her diamond falls out. I figure no worries, they should have a record of our visits. Jasmine the manager said we havent got it checked or cleaned sense before we even got married and there is no record of ANY visits. This is impossible as I have went with her many times myself. They WILL NOT honor your warranty, they are skum and dont care about you after your purchase.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! The staff is definitely on commission and pushes things they shouldnt. They dont inform you of the full warranty policy unless you ask... they just added the warranty to the bill without telling us!!! They gave us attitude when we said we asked them to remove the warranty from our bill. The ONLY thing they did that I want to give them credit for is sanitizing things... but I did not like the fact they sanitized our drivers license.... that was unnecessary.I will not go back to this location. Im okay with going to a Kay Jewelers, but this staff at this location were awful.

I went in to price some earrings and walked out a carat and a half later, lol. Jasmine Trice was an amazing sales rep. She was patient and kind. She suggested great pieces and also looked for more in storage that were not on display. I was able to trade in my remaining diamond earring from a lost pair. She was accommodating and very informative with payment options, credit, financing, and even interest free plans. While assisting me, she was still able to answer questions of other Co workers, and still give me the full attention needed. She appears to be a wealth of knowledge in the store and was definitely that to me. I will always go back to see Jasmine for her superior and stellar service! And thats saying something because I do not live close by.

Marissa is amazing! 💕 I’m so happy I’m literally typing this as we sit in the parking lot. Marissa helped my girlfriend and I pick out our ideal engagement rings, and explained everything to us and answered all of our questions. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend Kay Jewelers. The assistant manager Jasmine and her sales associate Chelsea were so patient and went above and beyond helping me find the perfect ring and enhancer after my husband surprised me by shopping for an upgrade from my current bridal set. They went thru a lot of options until we found the perfect one. It was so nice not having a pushy sales person and the prices are remarkable.Thank you so much Jasmine and Chelsea.Best customer service we have experienced in a long time and the laughs we shared with them were the icing on the cake.

Had a wonderful experience with Ms Kathleen Callis. She really listened to the specifications I was looking for and then showed me several options and advised me on the best offers. She took special care to share all details about the stone before the purchase, and has kept in touch over email to check if I need any assistance or information on upcoming sales. She was at Twelve Oaks Mall when I interacted with her and has now moved to Great Lakes Crossing. Shes a real asset to the organization, she takes her job very seriously, and provides great assistance to customers. Id advice anyone going to look for Kathleen!

I do believe it was a custom ring that someone had made and never picked up it was truly a one or kind and stuff like that only gets sent to the outlet. So as far as price and the ring goes it’s a great location for that! However when it came to sizing my ring I was so upset, I have small fingers but my hands sweat and swell quite often so I told the lady I wanted to get it sized to a 5 1/2 and she kept insisting I was making a mistake and should get it a size 5 but I stuck firm to I want it a 5 1/2 because I know my body not you basically. Well I get the ring back it feels super tight and I asked the lady working to see what size it was and it was a 5!!!!!!!! This was a different lady than the one who originally helped me she wasn’t working that day but if she was there I would of lost it! Who goes against the customer behind their back and sizes the ring to what they think regardless of the person wearing it! I’m heartbroken this happened I don’t want to get my ring sized back up again because I don’t want it the band to get thinned out. Now I can never wear my ring when my hands our sweaty or swollen which is a big portion of my life! Prices and uniqueness of rings great place but don’t get your ring sized by them!

Recently bought a ring at this location back in March. Spent close to 4,000. Today I came in looking to purchase myself a ring. I talked to one of the associates who gave me one price. I left, came back, and spoke to another associate and she gave me an even higher price then before. Her exact words were, “I’m giving you the top of the line discount.” This location is giving out incorrect pricing and not giving the best possible price for the customer. I was ready to buy today and now I will certainly not purchase from this location ever again. As someone who works in sales and customer service, I expect the same treatment I give my customers. This gives myself a very negative perception about not only the employees but the company as a whole.

Went in expecting to spend $10,000 on an engagement ring. Sales person couldnt stop his paperwork to get out a ring for me as soon as walked up so I stood there waiting. I went to a store where I was ACKNOWLEDGED when I walked in!

This location has no customer service skills. I hate when I have to come to this location because it is an outlet, and the closest to me. The service here is terrible. Arguing over who took each others commission or customer. You have to ask for help but when the employees see you have a Kay card or how much you want to spend. They are all smiles and want to help. This location needs to be rejuvenated! Terrible Terrible service on more than one visit. Corporate needs to come to this location and clean up!

Shop assistant was very courteous and greeted me when she knew I had been waiting for a moment. She told me she didnt have any of the type of item I was looking for in stock, however offered a catalogue for me to view. She sat down with me at one of the displays and helped me look through it and made suggestions and helped me decide on an item to buy. She was very professional and polite and made my experience very enjoyable. Great customer service.

My step dad has spent a small fortune over the years buying my mother nice jewelry recently he bought a ring for her paying over 2000.00, they went to 2 different places to have appraisals dine and it is worth 200. How awful is that, no one should be able to mark up anything that high. Shame on you kays!Then you tell a good customer there is nothing you can do?! Well shame on you again.

WARNING: we have been going here for years and just recently my wife needed repairs done to her ring. We bought the ESP for it and when we asked, they said the repairs were not covered. The repairs were over $400 dollars and we had to pay it. Come to find out that the repairs should have been covered and the sales person either didnt know or they lied to drive their numbers up. We will never go there again. We will go to the Birch Run outlet where they are happy to help. Pay attention to your ESP and if you keep up on the inspections everything is covered.

Discrimination against lesbians is still alive and well, folks. My wife and I just went to pick up our wedding rings that we had ordered a while back only to discover that they purposefully ordered the wrong sizes.The first time we went to Kay to order the rings, the woman who was checking us out put down the wrong size. We noticed on our receipt and asked for her to change it. She said it was no problem and she would get it fixed and sent us on our way.When we got there today and tried the rings on, they didnt fit and we asked the woman working there if it was the correct size. She slid it on the sizer and said it was the size we originally asked for and that our fingers must be swollen or that we must have been mistaken on what size we needed. We then asked her to check what size was ordered in the computer and sure enough, they had ordered the wrong ones and decided not to call us to tell us that they couldnt change the order to the correct ring size. All they would have had to do was cancel the order and order the right one. They wouldnt have even needed me there to do it.The woman serving us wasnt apologetic. She said she was bummed out that she had to clean up someone elses mess. It was like it was her day that was ruined and not ours. She put in the order and said it would come quickly, that we would get them on Sept 5th. We ordered our first ones over a week ago! She said that we couldnt even rush order them. She continued to be snide and when I asked if she could do anything for this inconvenience (we had to drive an hour to pick these up!) she told us that the manager wasnt coming to work today and she couldnt do anything. She told us to talk to the manager when we picked the second set of rings up. When we asked how we would be sure that the manager would be in, she told us that we should call and push off our pickup until it was on a day that she was working.We had to force this woman to give us the managers card. It wasnt freely offered, as it should be in a situation like this. We also had her write her name down so we could tell her manager how poorly everyone handled this situation. I regret not asking her would you treat a straight couple like this? Instead I left the mall crying with My wife holding me close.I feel sick that our wedding rings are going to be tainted by this moment. The people serving us clearly hated gays and didnt want to serve us in the first place. I may cancel our wedding ring order. This feels terrible.

Never again, NEVER!!!!!!! Bought my wifes wedding ring here, had it custom made. It has been in and out of repair for at least two years due to missing diamonds. A small stone fell out on our wedding day and the center stone fell out within a year. The replaced it for free with a diamond that was nowhere as nice as the original. They farm the repairs out to shops that dont care and dont know how to properly repair items. Then they play the blame game when things are not right. I had customer care involved many times which was agonizing. They gave me a $500 gift card for my troubles. The staff here is changed/transfered constantly so the same people you felt with are never here after a year. Ended up having the entire ring remade from scratch at waterfall jewelers about a year ago, have not had a single problem with it since. I made the same review years ago but it has since been deleted, go figure Google!Stay away from here! Go to Waterfall Jewelers, they are pros!

Terrible! I went in for my 6 month ring inspection and the manager (i think) helped me. She gave me a hard time about not having my paperwork and said she cant look at my ring unless i have my paperwork. I told her that every other Kay Jewlers location easily looks it up on their computer.. She had a serious attitude problem. Funny enough she looked it up on her computer in one second. She was on a serious power trip and was more than rude to me. This Kay Jewler is right dow the road from my house, sadly now, Ill drive 20 miles out of my way to avoid ever going to this location again. Im a customer, maybe you should treat me like one. This lady should be fired, along with her ego.

Trying to call for an update on the repair of my ring. Unfortunately no one answers the phone even though they are open. I would go to the store but it takes at least 1/2 an hour for an employee to help you. Horrible customer service.
