Update- clothes are not vintage, but actual items that were made from the individuals of Topstitch.Sewing is a lost art, and Top Stitch is bringing the old skills back. They have a few classes at different levels to sign up for. They even sell clothes that are made by them. The clothes today have a vintage look to them. Not sure what other clothes they have, but at the time of our visit it was only vintage clothes.

So happy I was able to pop in when visiting family in Atlanta during the Christmas holiday. I was able to find some great items to add to my stash of handiwork and am crushing hard on some of the items I didnt take home with me. Super fun fabric is in my ready to sew garment stack and may be done sooner than later.Thanks for all the great selections and relaxed shopping experience. Cant wait to visit again.

Last night, a friend and I attended the Intro to Sewing- Essential Clutch class. We had so much fun! They have wonderful fabrics to choose from if you don’t bring your own. Danielle was a great teacher- she lent many a hand to help me complete the project, and was so thorough in introducing us to the sewing machine I feel like I could comfortably use one on my own. In the end I wound up with an awesome clutch that looks too good, for the fact that I made it. I would highly recommend the classes here. I will definitely be going again.

Great selection of basic fabrics in a cute little shop. I just wish they had more fabric types, as most seemed to be plain weave cotton fabrics which are cute and great for crafts but not always the best for apparel which is what I was looking for. Otherwise I loved this place and will be back!

Love this store. Lovely fabrics with lots of variety. Nice variety of indie patterns too. I particularly appreciated the large amount of sewn samples. The staff was super helpful and informative. I stopped by on a whim while visiting from out of town. I will definitely include this as a stop on future trips.

A wonderful find in Atlanta! They have top quality fabrics and some you wont find anywhere else. Lots of classes; patterns from independent vendors; notions; and more. I will definitely be back! The owner is very knowledgeable and knows how to curate her shop.

Topstitch is an adorable sewing store that brings together hard to find items and eclectic accessories. They have exceptional fabrics that are a great blend of trendy and classic with a European influence, and their selection of patterns cover a wide range of sizes and interesting styles. In addition to sewing items, they carry some exceptional embroidery thread. The owner is very personable and her staff are excellent as well. Make sure to check out their sewing classes whether you are new to sewing or just want to learn some new techniques.

Super cool concept for a shop!

Im so glad I went in! No idea people were seeing and making such cool fabrics. It inspired me!

You can get nice specialty fabrics, clothing patterns, and some embroidery kits and notions here. I was hoping to pick up some thread for embroidery but they only had ready-made kits for beginners. I guess I am not really the target customer though.

They had beautiful fabrics to purchase by the yard or they would e lven make up a garment for you. Nice staff.

The owner and the entire staff are so friendly and helpful. They carry nice selection of apparel fabrics and indie patterns. They also offer sewing classes and FREE craft nights.
