This place ROCKS. Everyone there is super kind and knowledgeable, the team knows the products well and can make the perfect recommendation for whatever your project might be. I made a lot of huge orders during the pandemic to make face shields and they were extremely good at communicating and accommodating my needs. I cannot recommend Reynolds enough, its a phenomenal business.

This is THE place to get supplies for mask making, special effects makeup, sculpting clay, etc. Nelson is always the sweetest guy. He is extremely knowledgeable. We dont get anything other than what he recommends. He is HIGHLY respected in the SFXMUA community. The prices are great. They even offer classes. This place is a local treasure.

How can you not give them 5 stars? They have the stuff, the prices are fair, and they know what they are doing. They have a new location, since about a year ago, and have more room.Aside from the clay, mold making supplies and dyes that I go in for, they have an expanding line of theatrical makeup. Worth a look through if you are in the vicinity of the Atlanta airport to see what they have.

Absolutely PHENOMENAL!! I found this company just searching online for pottery clay. I decided to drive up from Macon and pick up a few orders, and when I got there I was absolutely blown away! The staff is so much fun and the products are top notch. Thank you guys so much! Ill be coming back and back again! Definitely recommend.

I have to describe my experience with this place.Been going here for years-and always,I am treated with such great professionalism. To me that means a lot....because Im a very small-(micro)-producer. I may not be one of the Top Shelf accounts to these guys, but every time I come in they treat me like I am - and baste me with a full turkey baster full of knowledge when I ask questions about product. My last visit and purchase was on a Saturday (which happened to be an instructional class day).I live close,so I was the first customer to walk in - just wanting to get in,get my stuff, and get out.Whoever the girl was running the showroom floor (the one with the dry attitude and fake red hair.) does not have any product knowledge and really shouldnt be left in charge of customer relations......Unless her job were to barely acknowledge you, overlook your quandary in lieu of being professional and accommodating, and just being completely indifferent to the fact that you are there with money to spend and perhaps a question to ask.Once I got home and pulled the receipt to record into my material budget - I noticed that she had charged me for a gallon of material instead of a quart. That may not sound like much, but its a lot when youre on a material budget-and this stuff is expensive. This was an inconvenience on my part due to her inept social skills. She couldnt even pay enough attention while processing a material order on a register. 0.5 mm. of one half of one star for her.Monday morning,I went back with the receipt and box of material under dispute (and to pick up some more stuff). The rest of the staff was happy I was there, fixed the problem of the the overcharge, and even gave me a discount for my trouble. They made kindness manifest and Mr. Nelson even said Thank You by the door on my way out. 5 Gigantic Stars for Them. Thanks.

My 10 year old daughter has recently wanted to learn how to make molds and sculptures. They were so helpful and took a lot of time with us, explaining the process and different possibilities. I was very impressed and will most likely bring my daughter for some of their workshops.

I have to stay away from this store. I went for one thing and walked out with a boxful. These guys are awesome, helpful and truly experts in their craft. They not only showed me the products I need to make a perfect cast but made themselves available should I need more help. This store is a makers dream with everything I need for my projects.

Excellent place! FANTASTIC selection, awesome employees, and great prices. I was flying in from out of state and needed some molding and casting supplies ASAP, but wasnt going to get in til after closing time. They worked with me to make certain I was able to go ahead and put in an order and still be able to pick it up the same day. Ive put in a number of orders since then online, and they always get the order shipped out in record speed (almost solidly the same day). I cant believe I hadnt found these guys sooner. Thanks again yall!

Ive been looking all over Atlanta for some place that knew ever a LITTLE about mold making and various special effects, and I hadnt been able to find anywhere. All other places Ive gone didnt have anyone who actually knew about the process. The employees at The Engineer Guy, however, had a detailed answer for EVERY question I had. Two employees in particular, Benji Dove and Logan Long, were eager to answer all of my questions and point me in the right direction for everything I needed. The people that work have a real passion for everything special effects. The store itself also had a wide variety of products that were much cheaper than anywhere else Id previously gone.Overall, this is the best place Ive ever been in regards to helpfulness of staff and selection of product. One visit made a life long customer out of me.

Id give a 10+ if it was an option. Super helpful staff who not only found what we needed but stopped to explain specifics, calculate the mass of my project and gave us his business card incase we ran into a snag. I also took a face casting class a few months before. I recommend you check out the classes then do so shopping.

Great place, great products and great customer service. The only thing I would like them to change is the policy of not giving existing customers a free sample kit when that customer wants to try out a new or existing product that they have not used before. My previous resin/rubber distributor (Saunders) in the Hudson Valley, NY always did.

Fantastic. A friend and I went in looking for some materials to complete a practical fx piece weve been working on. We found what we were looking for at half the price we usually pay. Fifty pounds of Gypsum, 25 pounds of WED clay, 8 oz. of pros-aide, an instructional guide, an instructional DVD, and some tools, all for just about $65. We also spoke with Benji and Logan to try and get some questions answered on how to correctly complete our project. They were able to carefully explain step-by-step exactly what we needed to do. In short, this place is great because it has a wider selection, more affordable materials, and most importantly, an extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff. Well definitely be back.

I have been coming here for years for diy/costuming supplies and its a blessing to the Atlanta community. This store carries the hard to find makers chemicals and tools that would get you a confused, blank stare at any other hobby store. The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly; happy to help but not imposing, which is important because it can be intimidating the first time you visit, as all the chemical bottles look the same, save for the label. Long time customer and they have only expanded and gotten better over the years. They also hold classes and get togethers and are active on social media. All around great community resource for costumers, prop makers, and artists alike! Please never close!

Helped me out in a pinch by selling us some acrylic cement for a school project. Amazon would only sell it if you had a business account, and no one else was selling it. My only complaint would be that shipping was a bit expensive, especially since I live in Metro Atlanta anyway, but that may be FedExs fault more than theirs. Highly recommend.
