Very clean restroom that smelled good. Someone came knocking to clean it while I was in there. Lots of good quality products for sale. Soda machine is well maintained didnt hiccup and mix water in my drink like most do. Walk up restaurant inside. Will definitely return to this location

The food inside at La Cocinita is so good. It is fresh and delicious. Who knew you could get such great food at a gas station! We will definitely be back.

This may be the best organized and cleanest facility along I-65. Masks were required, and the restrooms were very clean.

DO NOT USE ATM at RACEWAY IT WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY! On 10/24/20 I attempted to use the ATM machine at Raceway in Athens,AL. I attempted to withdrawal $100 and the machine froze on PROCESSING TRANSACTION screen for 45 seconds and never dispensed my cash. It DID take money from my Checking account and only way to recover STOLEN money is dispute it with MY bank.

I’ve never reviewed a gas station before, but I’ve also never had free food from a gas station during a customer appreciation day...The bathroom was spotless, staff were extremely friendly, and the gas price was cheaper or the same as the other stations around.If I lived here I’d never use another gas station because it’s nice to get free food every now and then! I’ll stop in next trip up 65 (customer appreciation day or not). Thanks!!!

Ive never been to a convenience station so concerned about their online ranking so as a google explorer, I thought itd be a good thing to positively review them based on my good experience. The bathrooms were clean and well kept and they even had literature posted on the wall about how to properly wash your hands!My mother said the clerk was very polite to the point she thought about it before I mentioned Im leaving a review.

Great find. Some amazing Mexican food. Lets start with the great. Wife got two tacos, authentic style - one carnitas one al pastor. Both really flavorful. Fresh cilantro, juicy limes - the star is this wonderful green sauce. BIG flavors - creamy and a hint of heat (lost in the taco). I could eat this stuff all day. Wife wins this round. The esquite was good. Big serving, lots of cheese, sour cream and chili powder. Little spice, not a lot. Canned sweet corn and a lot of liquid (minus). I had the tamales. Supposed to be one pollo and one carnitas. Two chicken today. Great filling - tender chicken (stewed in peppers and onions?). BIG tamales, one is plenty. The minus is for the masa to filling ratio. Lots of masa. These are working mans size. A plus is the natural sweetness of the corn and the use of lard. So next visit? Tacos for sure, maybe lengua or asada. The torta classic, pambozos, sope, gordita. Or something I havent seen since Newport News - authentic quesadilla. Mondays - red or green mole. Thursdays - red or green pozole (fave). Didnt wait long for hand prepared food. Happy staff. Carry out only - its a gas station.

This place is horrible. They cheated me on a fuel purchase once before, I have gotten dirty diesel that clogged my filters from there on another emergency stop, and just today I was given absolutely no assistance when their air machine took my last $1.50. Instead of trying to help, the manager told me he knew the machine was broken, and, that it was not his problem. He refused to even put an out of order sign on it. Id rather run ten miles on the rims than go back to that place. I will be filing a complaint with raceway corporate office as well. Horrible.

This is my favorite gas station that I have ever visited. I live in Huntsville but work many days in Athens. The customer service is great. Maria and Alice are two of the nicest most helpful people I have ever met.They have amazing authentic Mexican food. I highly recommend the gorditas and the sopes.Excellent service, excellent prices and they will literally know you by your name after a couple of visits.

I always come here when I can. The prices are usually the best and the place is very clean. The owner or manager that works there most of the time is always very pleasant and helpful. Ill always come here if I need gas and Im in Athens.

This is truly an amazing gas station their restrooms are always clean and the staff is very friendly. Their gas prices are always the cheapest in the area and they have a variety of different foods and snacks for a good price. I highly recommend this gas station

The womans bathroom, while being relatively clean, was very tiny. The one handicapped stall was taken so I had to use the only other stall, and to say it was Hobbitt sized would be generous. The toilet was about 2 feet off the ground and very hard to use with no bars. Also the windshield cleaning liquid outside was empty. :(

Very clean store and restrooms! Love that they support the military, police, firefighters etc and offer free coffee or soda to them while on duty (no I am not military or in public service). Victor was a smiling, welcoming face to my worn out family as we stopped in at almost 10pm one night. To top it all off, they were .06 cheaper than the other gas stations next door and across the street!

This gas station is and older one but they have a good selection. Usually whoever is working is fast at getting you out. There is also enough pumps that way your not stuck waiting.

Dont know his name but the guy thats always working early morning shifts.. Had a attitude over a bag of ice.. I only needed 2 cup full and was gonna pay.. But he wouldnt give me a bag. So I turned to my bf and told him lets go somewhere else.. As I was walking out the guy working was saying something and shooting me a bird. Thats the wrong way to keep customers.. Would not recommend going there again!!!

WOW!!! The first word that I uttered after entering the store.THE CLEANEST gas station I have come across.Now, it has become my one stop shop gas station as they have almost everything you need and customers like me who are always rushing in the mornings...its fast, clean and now they serve delicious breakfast too....win win...Their customer service is cherry on top...so friendly and would not mind going an extra mile to give their customers best service and feel welcomed.Not to mention they also have cheapest gas prices too.

Had a low tire pulled in to get air to find out it cost $1.50 and had to pay in quarters went in store to get change. Ask lady at register for $1 in change after I just watched her give change to another customer. When I asked her for change she said they didnt have change for a dollar

Great place to stop between Florence and Huntsville!!! They also give free fountain drinks to all service members (military, police, and firefighters in uniform! Love this raceway!

This is such a great gas station. They keep the store clean, & their bathrooms are also very clean. Everyone over there is so nice, such great service.

I stopped here for gas last weekend and my gas access door wouldnt open. I was really scared because I was traveling alone with no one to help. I went inside the Raceway and asked the nice attendant if she could help me and she did. Phew! We were able to get it open together. I told her she was an angel and I meant it. I was almost on empty and still had 350 miles to go! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Stopped here for gas and something to drink for the road. Experience was very good and the lady checking out had a great personality.

Its a great place. The employees there are great especially one named Nina. She is full of energy and very nice.

The people that run this location are always super nice and helpful and if they dont stock something you like just ask and they will typically order it for you if they can. I highly recommend this location.
