Last night when I pulled up to grab a few things I spotted an unmasked employee walking around the shop. Thankfully I saw this before I stepped inside, as I am caring for a high-risk family member and cannot afford to be reckless about the virus as this employee was being. It was a really upsetting sight, and I watched someone walk in and make a look similar to mine before making the decision to turn around. Another place on my growing list of dangerous Atascadero businesses to boycott.
Is 7-Eleven I usually just go here to get gas and pick up a quick snack. The place is good its nothing incredible. Unfortunately its kind of a homeless Hangout. But it is convenient to get gas even though theres only two pumps. But its 7-Eleven your only going to get so much good service why would you be excited about working at 7-Eleven
Very nice place and really helpful staff. Thanks for everything.
Always open when I need something convenient
The cleanest 7eleven ever.
The new owners have really cleaned it up
Id like to apologize for the length of this, but I feel it should be out there for other members of our community to see. This morning I ended up going here in desperate need of gas. I left my house without my credit card thinking cash would be fine to grab a few things in town. I didnt expect it would turn into such a big deal. The gas gauge in my truck recently broke and its temporarily left me guessing how much gasoline I have available. Unfortunately, I had underestimated and I ran out of gas just as I pulled up to the pump. I grabbed my cash and went in to pay, but the owner turned me away stating she couldnt take my one hundred dollar bill because it was an older version. While I understood why she was reluctant to take it, her employee was being incredibly rude about it while I was trying to explain my dilemma at the pump. This employee was so sassy, rolling her eyes at everything I said and insisting I leave to get gas elsewhere. I explained my truck was out of gas and wouldnt turn back on. I asked the owner if it would be ok to go across the street to Walgreens for some change since the banks were closed, its Sunday. The owner agreed, but the employee told me I couldnt leave my truck parked at the pump and demanded I move it by rolling it and pushing it somewhere else. I was positioned between the curb and pump 2 facing the steep downhill driveway. Im just not strong enough to push a large SUV with zero power steering. I told her I had no choice, but to leave it while I run across the street. When I got back, I again tried to purchase gasoline and again she refused to help me. She said I needed to speak with the owner. While I waited, she continued being rude to me. She said the owner was busy in the back room and wouldnt be able to talk to me. She said I would have to wait a long time to speak with her and that I would need to wait outside. At this point, I was very frustrated. A customer walked in and stood behind me in line. I let him know he could go ahead of me since I was just waiting to purchase gas, but she wouldnt ring me up. He asked why, and when I told him, the female employee became enraged. She demanded I stop talking to him. She started to badger him and wanted to know if we were together. She continued yelling saying I was not allowed to talk to him or anyone else for that matter. She instructed him not to speak to me. She shouted saying im not allowed to tell anyone 7-11s personal business. Both of us were shocked at what she was saying. The other customer told her to stop yelling at me and to not take it out on me, since he specifically asked what happened. Obviously shes nuts!! I dont know what her problem was and I dont see how this woman is even allowed out in a public setting. She definitely has some serious control issues and enjoys being the authority over others. She was not wearing a name tag, so I dont know her name, but she has short blonde colored hair and has a very nasty- bitter disposition for an older woman. Clearly, she doesnt have any conflict resolution skills or the capacity to provide decent caring customer service. She was so irritated when the owner finally told her to let me purchase gas. She complained how she doesnt get paid enough to work at 7-11. Wow!!Ive been a long time customer here. Ive been getting coffee and gas at this specific station for years! I miss seeing Sondras friendly smile! She was the best darn employee 7-11 has ever had, but the owner didnt take care of her very well. I tell you what; this morning will be my last encounter with this gas station! I highly advise you to not parton a place that creates such an agonizing environment that would cause its employee to lash out on its patrons in such a despicable way. Especially when those people help provide them a paycheck. While the owner apologized for not being able to take my 100 dollar bill, the employee handled this so poorly. Im truly disappointed, but im not surprised considering how terrible the owner is her employees. Such a shame!
Harry helped me out a lot this morning while I was in a hurry to get my tire pressure fixed! Great customer service!
Great people, gifts, food, alcohol & cheap its ALWAYS ON!
Terrible coffee. Old donuts. At 7 am? Horrible service most of the time. .20 doesnt sound like .40, so why does it when I go there?
Worst customer service ever! Do not expect to get assistance or consideration ever here! Customer service is NOT A PRIORITY HERE.....
Who knew ??
I liked only place with the cheapest gas
