Quite a few vegan food options which is always a treat in areas where there are few vegan options. Overall my experience here was wonderful. Super kind employees that welcomed me with warmth into their shop, and the person who brought me my boxed food offered to grab me a bag for my walk. It really is the little things that go along way when you’re interacting with customers. My partner and I will be back!

I stopped in for coffee one more and it was great! Killer food menu as well. If you are able to make it on a nice day, they also have outdoor seating as well!

Nope. Nope. Nope. The staff was perfectly friendly, to begin with, but it seemed that takeaway orders were being given priority over those waiting in the establishment. After 20min of waiting, still no breakfast burrito - I asked for an ETA and they said just a few minutes more. 25 minutes later, a breakfast burrito and lukewarm coffees, I open this sorry excuse for food up, only to find that it is also barely even warm and is completely unseasoned. They were perfectly happy to refund my money (after a nice side of attitude) but seriously - you should inform customers of their expected wait and serve fresh food. I am sorry your kitchen is having an off day but maybe have the staff help out in the back instead of walking around aimlessly or squeezing orange juice that nobody ordered. In roughly the same amount of time, we were able to go to a different establishment and order coffees and get served fresh hot breakfast. Takeaways you might be able to learn from this place: provide an accurate wait time for food, serve food fresh, offer alternatives for those in a rush, and by our count this proprietor cooked for and served seven tables gracefully by himself. I was delighted to see so many good reviews for this spot but sadly, that was not our experience.

We have been getting breakfast here since it re-opened in April, order in advance online and it is ready on schedule. Weve had most of the breakfast items on the menu, my favorite is the brisket torta which has a savory dense filling. My wife likes the breakfast sandwich and the french toast, but anything on the menu is yummy!

Highly over rated. Coffee was weak, breakfast bowl was 90% beans, breakfast sandwich was an egg with a few spring greens on barely toasted muffin. Wouldn’t recommend it.

Coffee was terrible. I ordered two of the same drink (iced vanilla latte), but they tasted completely different from each other. One was sweet and the other tasted like an Americano, but both tasted so bitter that it wasn’t worth drinking it.

I ordered the breakfast sandwich, the Italian deli sandwich, and a hazelnut latte.The hazelnut latte was really incredible and that says a lot coming from someone who never drinks coffee/doesn’t enjoy coffee usually. I decided to go for it today and I was pleasantly surprised! Maybe I’ll order more coffee like this in the future :)The breakfast sandwich hit the spot.The Italian deli sandwich wasn’t all that great both taste wise - didn’t want to finish it because I didn’t like the taste of it - and also in terms of size I was expecting the sandwich to be a bit larger for the price. The sandwich was a bit expensive for what you get but that’s just me

Amazing Bloody Mary, latte, and breakfast sandwich (as you can see they got taken down fast). They’ll serve you in the lobby of The Commodore Hotel too which is dog friendly. Fantastic, friendly service. We’ll be back for sure.

Went out for breakfast, ordered at the counter, came out in a to go bag, I asked whats up. Oh we dont offer inside dining at this time. Well that would have been nice to know up front.

This is a great meet up place, or to sit and study in the morning. Their seasonal cardamom maple latte is excellent, and even though the food is a couple dollars more than other establishments, they use local ingredients and it is consistently delicious. My favorites are any of the quiches, delicious and presentation is excellent as well. The staff has always been friendly and helpful, even when I am a hot mess in the morning. Thank you Street 14 Cafe for being both delicious and awesome!

Great tasting everything! I came in for a cappuccino, lox and bagel. Calming, and friendly atmosphere. Spot on shot for the cappuccino, could have used more foam for more of a traditional cup. I enjoyed the flavor combinations for the lox and bagel.

Cafe had a great atmosphere, lots of eclectic trinkets. Food and coffee was really good. Our was a little crowded, but I took that to mean it was a good place to go.

Gosh what an average place wrapped in good first impressions.Okay its not remotely bad. They have good quality ingredients, fair prices and good coffee. But my god our food was weak, undercooked potatoes and bland. Really disappointing as everything else is.on point.Why three stars and not four? Well unlike poor service, poor food is in my opinion core to a cafe, and further if a place dresses itself up to be good with food asethetics, service and coffee then the food must bay to the same average. And here it did not.

Had the tartine; it was delicious. Good place to get a small bite for breakfast.

Incredibly friendly staff. The bar and dining area are very clean and they have a great menu. It has the warm and authentic feel of a Parisian cafe. Easy to see why this is the most popular place for coffee in Astoria. Their smoky mezcal is recommended, if you’re in the mood for a tipple.

Such a fun and unique coffee house! The coffee was delicious and the food was just down right incredible! The brioche french toast was so delectable. As a local coffeehouse connoisseur, I can say with confidence that you would be wise to skip this establishment. The owner (Mitch) is very rude, and the coffee is mediocre, at best. HIGH PRICES AND TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.

This cafe is always on our morning agenda when visiting Astoria. They have great coffee, great food, and the location is ideal. We had their vegetable hash for breakfast and it was perfectly fitting for a post run meal. Saw they have drinks on tap as well for the afternoon/evening crowds. Check this place out!

Loved it. We have been away from the coast for a while, but this cafe has the same delicious noshes, exquisite quiche and great coffee they had when we were last here.

Trendy, cozy, and delicious!! We stopped here for brunch and it’s “happy dance” good. The house made Bloody Marys’ are perfect, the vegetable hash is phenomenally full of flavor, and the French toast melts in your mouth!

Great quiche and bloody after a late night and beautiful beach views on the coast. Lovely setting with all the drinks and treats you need in Astoria. Had no problem finding parking nearby. Check out the attached boutique hotel too!

Had a great breakfast there. It was a busy event weekend and they had planned ahead with extra staff. Even busy, service was fast and food was perfect. So much better than another breakfast place we tried. Cute building.

Wow! This place had some excellent food! Great atmosphere also! Girlfriend had the French toast and I had the Sunrise Sandwich with sausage. Yum!

Hipster cafe with great organic & delicious food options. We arrived later in the day so most of the lunch menu was gone but we had some amazing french toast with real maple syrup. Lots of attention to detail in their dishes..not large portions but delicious. Great hipster/industrial furnishings.

How did we get so lucky? Seriously, Street 14 has the kind of thoughtful, quality menu thats rare outside of big cities. They show off local producers and offer a comfortable spot to hide out in the middle of downtown. Oh, and they really care about coffee!

I would give 14 Street a 5 star but they forgot our coffee.. They were super friendly and fast they just skipped our name and forgot our coffee. Other than that the food and vibe were great.

I simply adore Street 14. Its both a delightful coffee shop and now a exquisite example of the farm to table movement, with a seasonal menu that changes weekly based on whats available locally. The owners are the sweetest, moving from Germany four years ago to buy the shop (the wife grew up in Portland). Theyve done an amazing job of making the place inviting for locals and tourists, and its exciting to partake in this cultural and culinary experience.

I’ve been here before and had a pleasant experience however, this time.....barf!The man behind the counter (long hair beard and hat) was TERRIBLE at customer service. Most of you might not care about being greeted with “hi, how are you? “ “what can I get started for you?” But I do and that’s all that matters with this review. He just dropped off my food.....he seemed more pleasant. I tried so hard not to be nice, but long story short, first impressions make a difference.

Very good food. Above average taste. Would recommend meatball melt and Italian grilled sandwich. Nice clean seating area. Pleasant staff. Would go again.

Both were incredible.Also had 2 of the best coffees we have had in a very long time.Service was great & staff was really nice.We should have eaten here the next morning but we thought we would try another nearby cafe.Food and drinks weren’t”t nearly as good at the BS cafe as compared to 14th street.Casual vibe with great food and drinks.

This has been my go to coffee spot for 3 years. They are incredibly kind and wonderful hosts. The coffee is delicious and you most definitely dont want to miss out on the pastries. They have recently opened for dinners Thursday to Sunday that is killer. Best Sunday spot in Astoria!

Best coffee shop on the Oregon coast. Drip is always fresh and delicious. They also make fantastic lattes. They steam the milk (or alternative milk) perfectly every time. Breakfast was amazing: had the French toast and a vegan “egg” breakfast sandwich. The servers were so accommodating: my friend mentioned we’d be sitting outside with our dog and they told us the hotel attached to their cafe allowed dogs and that they could serve us in there. It was so nice to have a sit-down indoor breakfast, instead of trying to get our food and beverages to go and eating outside in the cold. Can’t say enough nice things about this place and the people who work there.

My husband and I were on a mini vacation and decided on St. 14 Cafe for breakfast. AMAZING! we were starving! He had a breakfast egg sandwich and even though he recieved sausage instead of bacon on his sandwich, he enjoyed it. I ordered the bacon, leek, and red pepper quiche...seriously, I cant stop thinking about how delicious it was! I am pretty sure it is the most amazing quiche I have ever had! These people are awesome! The owners are exceptionally kind and accommodating. The atmosphere is nice, modern and welcoming. The food is surprisingly good and really brings a bit of Portland to Astoria. And of course, the coffee is great.One of my favorite places in Astoria thus far. Highly recommended.
