I stopped in on a Sunday at around 11am and it was a little busy but there is still available parking out front. I ordered the huevos rancheros and the breakfast burrito. Out of the two the burrito is the obvious winner. The thing is huge and could probably feed two people. The flavors are great, not too spicy and the potatoes were done perfectly. The way the tortilla was crisped up was great too. The huevos rancheros didn’t feature a tortilla, it’s just rice beans and eggs, not even a ranchero sauce, and while the flavor is good the value just isn’t there compared to the burrito.I didn’t order a coffee this time so I’ll be back again to check that out and grab another burrito :)

Great food and service and most of all great vegan options 🦕🌱! The staff was very friendly, they were having an issue with their computer so they ended up giving us our food for free! I would highly recommend the TLT and the Golden Potatos. Sauces are great, tomatoes are fresh, and portion size just right. 👍🏻 Also, the fresh squeezed orange juice.

Amazing local organic cafe. They put a lot of effort and love into all of their baked goods and menu items. Would highly recommend picking up some of their specialty sourdoughs and burritos. They use mostly locally sourced ingredients as well so they are always serving fresh delicious items! I stop here every chance I get, and always buy Togo loaves to save in my freezer. A gem in downtown Astoria. Its popular and there was around a 15-wait on a Sunday morning. Theres a tent to wait under outside. If you want vegetarian food then this place is okay, totally average, but it could be better. Even limited to vegetarian ingredients the breakfast sandwich lacked cheese and a proper biscuit - although the tomatoes were exceptionally good. On the bagel the cream cheese was... I dont know, liquidy? It all squished out, it wasnt edible held in my hands, I used a knife and fork. 40 minute wait.

This place reminds me a bit of the hippie-run vegan organic places back in the 60s, except my breakfast burrito shell was fried, which made it absolutely delicious. It consisted of egg, black beans, spinach and onions. I was full at the half but couldnt put it down until gone. Now, lets talk about a few slivers of chicken breast....

Breakfast sandwich blew my socks off. Singed brioche, house special aioli, raw julienne purple onion egg over medium, fresh spring mix with pomegranate and orange slices.. woah! Their coffee tho leaves much to be desired and the wait time slightly over long despite no orders (visibly) ahead of me but heck that Sammy was worth any wait. Also would’ve been nice to have been given a fork for the salad..

How do you not have quiche in the morning for breakfast and put it out later in the day? I ordered a caramel macchiato because macchiato was listed on the menu, and she told me “we do traditional kinds of coffee, what you’re looking for is a latte with foam and espresso.” They didn’t have caramel so I got vanilla, I should’ve just walked out. Felt I was being talked down to as this was my first time there and won’t be back.

Delightfully delicious! Housed in a beautiful, historic building with eclectic interior decorator, ample seating, great big windows for people watching or looking out to the ocean, tasty treats and good coffee.Had the morning glory muffin. Its a bit small but very flavorful. The exterior has an interesting sweet, crunchy texture Im not sure Ive had in a muffin before that gives way to a soft, moist and delicious center. This is how I like my cookies and it works well with the muffin.Mocha was very nice and well crafted. You can tell that they know how to properly foam here. Chocolate flavor is smooth and not so sweet. Coffee is roasted up the street at the Astoria Coffee Company. They have a very nice (and cheap) spiced mocha there that I highly recommend and the owner is very nice.Back to scorchers... On the counter they have these jars of teas that look amazing. One of them was a Ruby cocoa with cardamom and dandelion root in it. I wish I had tried that but alas I had to enjoy this mocha instead.

Thank you for knowing what vegetarian and vegan food is capable of! I am so tired of veggie burgers being the only option for us veg heads. For those of you meat eaters out there, you should give this place a try too because they make some tasty foodz even without moo or the oink and have a friendly staff. Other people seem to agree, as their outdoor seating was full. We called in our order ahead of time and took out food to go and walked two blocks to the pier to eat and watch the seals. Perfect combo. I could have eaten myself into a seal shaped bod with all their treats if only I had known before ordering how much I was going to like it. We had the tempeh rueben (love me some tempeh!!) and the breakfast burrito for our main course. They were both yummy and very filling. My rueben had great, seemingly housemade sauce and sauerkraut. We asked for a side of hot sauce which it also seems they makes themselves. We bought two pasties, I mean pastries, and now I am dreaming of them and kicking myself for not buying more! We had the cardamom cinnamon roll and the sour cream coffee cake with strawberry goodness on the inside. Fluffy with unique flavors. Their loaves of bread looked amazing and my sandwich rye was something to remember. It was tasty, healthier, brunch food and that is coming from me, a picky eater from Portland!

I needed a healthy breakfast while I was out of town. I ordered the eggs on greens with toast. 5 minutes after I ordered everyone else in line in front of me had their food and was gone. It took another 15 minutes for the staff here to make 2 over easy eggs and 2 slices of toast. Pretty shocking considering I make pretty much this exact meal for myself every morning and can make it in 10 minutes (5 of which is heating the pan). I was sad when I opened my to-go container for my breakfast tacos. I am the vegetarian and had convinced my meat loving husband to go here. When I opened the salsa container I gave a sigh of relief, already more impressed. Then I took a bite and it was sooo good. We are both still talking about it and regretting splitting an order. The cheese danish (the reason we shared the tacos) was also insanely good. I like Astoria and would have come back, but this breakfast is the type of food that has you longing for that return visit. PLUS, they are nice. Yesterday after we ate upstairs I just wanted to look at the pastries and was wondering if they could explain the green lines on the street.
