This is one of our absolutely favorite store in Ashland! I never thought that I would say this about a freaking hardware store, but it’s true! They have just about everything the average person would need. And their customer service is the gold standard!

This place is hands down the best business in Ashland! Their customer service is second to none. Tons of knowledgeable, friendly staff. Fully stocked selection. Easy returns and exchanges. And the free popcorn is back!! 🙌🏼

Outstanding customer service from knowledgeable veteran staff, like Mike in the plumbing department. Inventory targeted both to pros and premium homeowner market, with competitive pricing. Between Ashland Ace Hardware and Ashland Lumber almost next door, there is usually no need to drive to Phoenix, Medford or White City for quality tools and materials.

Deeply disappointed in Ace Hardware in Ashland. They refuse to keep their customers and fellow human beings safe. Several staff members were improperly masked. Others pulled their masks off to speak to customers and other staff. Unmasked customers were being helped at close distance and no enforcement of masking or social distancing was happening.It is the responsibility of every person to hold themselves and others accountable for public safety. Ace fails to do so, and lost my business because of it.

Went in 2 days this wk for different purposes and John was extremely helpful in finding everything we needed and extremely informative on the products. Thanks so much! All around- great store!

Staff is always friendly and helpful and theres an abundance of them theres probably almost as many staff working at the hardware store is there is a home Depot and theyre all knowledgeable in their own areas and if theyre not knowledgeable in an area that you need help in they will find somebody that is. And I swear they have one of everything there there might not have 10 of it but if you need something thats particular or something thats weird or something that youve had trouble finding theres a good chance youll find it there or you wont find it anywhere

I just learned that ACE Ashland removed products that contain neonicotinoids and Roundup from their shelves and had to jump on here to give them 5 stars for being responsible to the community and environment. Although I would have given them that rating anyway, as the staff is so personable and helpful and they give out free popcorn!

I never go to HD anymore for stuff I can get at Ace in Ashland. And with rewards I get 10$ card every month.

I was double charged for an item, and when I called about it they trusted me and gave me a refund even though I had no way of proving it. Great customer service in the store, too, on multiple trips.Also is bigger than your average Ace with an excellent selection. They even have things like Aquamira drops for purifying water for hiking!

I would pay admission to wander through the fasteners aisles. Its better than Coles in San Francisco. Not enough square-drive bolts and screws, but no one outside of Canada doesThe rest of the store is nice too

Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. Always ready to lend a helping hand or a fresh idea on a difficult project. Definitely your friendly neighborhood hardware store. Just wish they had more of a garden section with plants because i would come here for that too instead of the larger corporate store.

When I need hardware I go to the Ashland Ace True Value Hardware Store on A Street, they know there stuff, and theyre customer service is outstanding.

Friendly staff and great prices. Lay out is a bit odd but you gotta work with what you have.

Love shopping here. Staff is great, they are helpful and courteous, far more available than at HD, and for how small the store is their selection is superb.

Excellent hardware store; staff are very responsive, and help with suggestions and recommendations. Also offer alternatives to help solve problems. Selection is wide, and the popcorn is an added bonus. Their fastener/miscellaneous hard to find connectors/buts/bolts/corks etc. aisles are fantastic.

They special ordered what I consider a large quantity of landscape materials, then delivered to my home in two loads due to the weight. The delivery guy sweat right along with me, getting dirty to unload while actually enjoying the hard work.They had a competitive price and THEN deducted for a retired military discount.The delivery was ahead of schedule to support an operational commitment for me as well.They just could not have done any better in this transaction. Ill be back (almost daily). We are minutes from the orange big box hardware store, but they are a distant second choice as I choose to shop locally.Thank you Ashland General Hardware team!

Friendly associates well maintained store, I personally love the little art section attached to this particular store. Its definitely got the home town hardware store feel they even have popcorn so you can snack while your looking around. They also have a great rewards program I recommend you sighn up for, they send the coupons straight to your mailbox.

A small Ace Hardware I literally didnt know that it was Ace Hardware when I pulled up it look like a mom-and-pop hardware store but that is actually a good thing the prices are reasonable and it felt like I was spending money and a good place

Today I had the best customer service. Was helped by 2 separate gentleman who were quick to find what I needed and very knowledgeable. The Ace in Eagle Point is the same way. Why cant Lowes be this helpful? Whenever I need something at Lowes they all seem to scatter and hide. :)

Love going to Save in Ashland, a real warm, friendly community place. I always see someone I know. The workers (sales people) are the friendliest and actually very helpful. Plus free popcorn while you make your decision. A small store with tons of things and a big heart. I am always seeing new things there. Who needs the big box stores?! Especially Trump supporting Home Depot, when you can have fun, friendliness and more convenient, with fewer steps.

Just the best hardware store around. Top notch employees, a couple of them have been there for at least 25 or 30 years. Dont go to those big stupid big-box stores like Home Depot, Ashland Hardware has way more and better stuff. I love this store.

Ashland Hardware is one of my favorite stores! Sure you may pay a little more than you would at a big box store, but its worth it in my opinion. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable and they have a great selection of hardware store items! Supporting local businesses is important in this day and age!

Great staff more expensive than home Depot but better staff and you dont have to hike 3 miles to get stuff.BTW, great coffee and popcorn.Dog treats too.Worth supporting.

Ive been an Ashland Hardware customer for 28 years and have never had a bad experience. The staff are quick to offer help and are very knowledgeable. This is the main thing that separates them from Lowes/Home Depot. Even if you dont need expert help, it is always good to support locally owned businesses. Their prices are generally competitive with the big box stores, and are sometimes cheaper.

This store was fantastic. I went in needing to change the battery in my cars key fob and having no idea how to even access the battery compartment. The customer service person spent about 20 minutes with me figuring out how to open the battery compartment (it required a special screw driver) and then found the correct battery and replaced it for me. He even let me test it to make sure it worked before paying.I also needed two other items and received help from two other great employees. I accidentally bought the wrong size of one item and the next day I was able to return it and have help finding the correct size.I have been to many hardware stores in the past and generally I have had a hard time finding workers willing to give me much effort. This was my first time in this store and I will keep coming back!

Very helpful folks, much more helpful and available then the big box stores... And they carry a wide assortment for most needs... Not major lumber, but you would go direct to Mill if you needed to build a home

I needed a car key made which is no longer a simple task these days. The customer service rep went above and beyond to make sure I got a working key. Ive had similar experiences at this store in the past. Five star quality service.

Came in here to purchase a chainsaw. I had called ahead and put it on hold and Cody confirmed price and availability. He called me to confirm the day of and had everything set when i showed up. He started it up, went through the operations with me and made sure if to ask if i had any questions. I wish i was closer! This sort of customer service is almost unheard of! I drove 2.5 hours and it was 100% worth it. All the employees were wonderful and helpful. They actually had stuff in stock and knew where it was. Thanks again Cody!

This is a genius hardware store. The employees here are experts in all sorts of fields. I always trust their advice and Im almost never disappointed. I recently moved 20 miles away, and I still drive over there to shop. Good job Ashland Hardware!!

Just another shop decent customer service parking layout is terrible do not expect to park there with a larger truck if you have an oversized cab or oversized bed forget about it unless you can drive as good as me

Hello, so I call them today about 1:45 pm and ask if the have a certain part. The guy on the phone tells me they do have it in stock. I go down there, my precious time, car wear and tear and gas were necessary. I was already late for something else. They dont carry the part. Who does that ? Im thinking about suing them for gas, wear and tear and my precious time.

This is the best Ace Ive ever been to. Great selection and variety, they often have specific items you cant even get at the big box stores for plumbing, electrical, carpentry, replacement tool parts and more. All staff members are either knowledgeable or good looking, and most are both. Theres even an excellent little cafe and street life right outside the front door. We are spouked here in Ashland Oregon!

This store always has exactly what I’m looking for. And it’s the only hardware store I’ve ever been in that you can actually navigate and find most things without having to ask. But if you do need to ask there is always someone close by and they know where everything is.

Dont shop anywhere else! Not only do they have every imaginable product and service (including knife sharpening), but they hire people who are very knowledgeable AND go the extra mile and a half to help you figure out how to solve your problem. I have had dozens of outstanding experiences here. Today I was trying to find the recycle center and two employees collaborated to find out AND draw me a map! LOVE this place!!
