We inquired about bringing some chairs and a nook table to place on consignment and the owner decided to butt in and practically play me off as if my business isnt good enough in a very massive aggressive tone. This business is one of my favorites to visit. I love their staff. Matt has delivered furniture almost everywhere Ive lived. He is still the sweet, kind young man that I met many years ago. I love the furniture and the great deals I get. It makes me happy to be able to afford furniture that I love! Recently I learned that he is the mayor of Ashland. I was so excited for him. He will be a great one Im sure!

Hadnt been here in a while but it definitely didnt disappoint.

The people there are so very friendly and I love to rummage through the vintage furniture, the unique items & books, records and games.

They had some nice things but really over priced.

Got two dressers one for $39.99 and the other was $80.00. The guy running the place was pleasantly helpful. Will be telling people about this place and will be visiting again for sure!

I love 2nd hand rose furter you take step up there and they sell it for you get many for its the best is the best place in Ashland to a to go to I think if you just going shopping you go up there look round 2 they have their books that puzzles they have furniture they have throws and rugs they have been anything you need and very reasonable price

Who knew! Its a treasure cove of possibilities!!! I went for the first time in search of a specific item and found so much more than I was looking for! The prices are very very reasonable. I went to another 2nd hand store in Ashland that was astronomically priced! This store ... Second Hand Rose had better quality items for a fraction of the price. Seriously! They have so much! You have to browse and check it out at least once!

I had the opportunity to spend the day with Liza Jackson and Matt Perkins at Second Hand Rose day before yesterday. The first thing about shopping here...everybody knows you name already so dont bother introducing yourself. The second thing..the smell. Its the best smelling store Ive ever had the pleasure of visiting...the merchandise is orderly, well-marked with the owners number set to a data base Matt quickly accesses as each customer approaches the register...there are gorgeous paints, hand thrown pottery ...fiesta ware...sideboards...childrens furniture...antiques, quilts and accoutrements galore...I wanted to touch everything in the store, but the main thing I remember...I never wanted to leave that smell...delicious, clean and comfortable.. You will be delighted with your purchase at Second Hand Rose.

Used to have good items. Nothing is priced, and when asked,they seem annoyed($20 for a 11in frame is a joke btw)Shouldnt have came back after finding something in the trash, going in asking about it,and then they told me me $30. Oh and you cant even move in areas because its so packed with junk! Never again!!

The owner is great and very genuine. Its always fun to come in for a quick stop and see whats new. We have purchased many furniture pieces and accent pieces here over time all at fantastic prices. Hoping he can eventually expand his building because there is never enough room there for all he has, and feel like he would do even better if he display stuff better with more room.

Ive visited the furniture site a few times. Things tend to move quickly, so dont second guess. Although some of the prices are marked way above what they should be for used items, you can find deals. There is however, an older woman who has a horrible attitude with minorities and it just makes my stomach turn. I walk away when she is working.

Dont waste yoyr time not worth it

This is an overpriced consignment store. Someone had brought in a very small shop vac that you can purchase at Walmart brand new for $20. It was missing a couple parts so my husband thought he might be able to get it at a good price. The lady wanted $30 for it and then argued with my husband and said that was a good deal. Apparently she didnt have a clue that you could buy it brand new for cheaper. With all the parts included.

It is a nice little store always great stuff to find and they go out of there way to help you out especially if you are getting a Christmas present for someone and they are with you

If youre looking for good used furniture second hand Rose in Ashland right off 13th Street is the best place to go we bought a beautiful loveseat there their prices are unbelievable and they do deliver with the little bit of an extra fee its worth it if you dont own a try the staff there they help you and their furnitures always claim they have some awesome pieces not to mention they have curtains and pillows and bedspreads and pictures and paintings they have a variety of everything you could ever look for it they are one awesome consignment shop
