I am not a great wrench-turner. When I have needed assistance with a project I wanted to undertake, they have ALWAYS been there with the Correct Advice. My Go To Place!

Thank you guys.Additionally I appreciate the freedom to make my own health decisions as this Car Quest allows. As someone with asthma who is being constantly attacked in other establishments, this one is a beacon of light, IMO.

Horrible customer service. Went in looking for a small part and guy behind the counter couldnt be bothered to help. It seemed like I offended them by wearing a mask when I came in.While I was looking for the part, I heard the owner on the phone yelling at someone that he couldnt hear them and then cussed and slammed the phone down angrily on them.Worth the drive somewhere else to purchase auto parts or get advise.The owners profile on there website states...At Ashland Auto Parts, customer service is driven by Independent owners who are passionate about delivering excellence in everything they do. Super friendly staff...They grabbed all my items on the list and I was out in 5 minutes and they helped walk it out too!

The owner is not vaccinated, and says no one can mandate his wearing a mask. He doesnt want the government mandating mask wearing or vaccinating. He has sign saying you don’t have to wear a mask in the store. None of his employees wear a mask.I said I feel that it is socially irresponsible to have such a policy in his store. He was quite unpleasant, I have no desire to shop there again.

Outstanding customer service! I just brought in a pool motor with seized bearings, and they had the replacement parts I needed. But additionally, when I asked to rent a gear puller to get the stuck bearings off they offered to do it right there in the store, and no charge! They were pretty busy too, so it really felt like going the extra mile. Thank you!!

Ended up shopping here because I desperately needed motor oil, and it wasnt ideal. One of the employees was yelling on the phone at someone, swearing and threatening him, saying he would punch him in the face if he saw him? It was very uncomfortable and made me feel unsafe. Not to mention no one in there wears masks and they have anti-mask signs everywhere, including one that basically said if youre trying to enforce masks well get you arrested. Yikes. And the prices were a bit high. I wouldnt come here again. I wouldve walked out if it wasnt an emergency. Go elsewhere and support people who care about your health & safety.

Been a customer for almost two decades and have always experienced nothing but the best customer service. Sherman has found me parts for some very obscure cars over the years, as well as my daily drivers, and in many cases has had them in stock or delivered next day. Prices and policies are always fair, often on par with what youd find online.

I intended to stop into Carquest to buy some wiper blades, but upon seeing the anti-mask signage, I decided that I was not going to risk my own health or the health of my family by spending time among people who refuse to take basic precautions in the midst of a pandemic. I recommend avoiding this plague trap.

The owner of this store is extremely cool, friendly and helpful. I was astonished to see that someone left a one star review. Take it from a local: this place is so convenient to have in town and always has what I need in stock. The staff is on point and always knows exactly how to help.

I have bought thousands of dollars of parts here.... Always helpful and I leave with more knowledge than when I entered... To all those who complain about the optional mask wearing...go somewhere else...They post the optional mask notice on the door. If you dont like it, go Californicate in some other town. Giving them a low rating because they dont run their business the way you want them to is childish... Do you want to know how many people have contracted covid from this store...? None! I just want to give a huge shoutout and thank you to the wonderful staff here!!!…. My car battery died this morning (which created a huge hardship for my day of taking care of my elderly mother)… my fiancé came into car quest and had a super easy time getting a new battery and (no long waits or incompetent staff) everyone was knowledgeable and kind!…. A little later today I showed up at car quest with my old battery, the receipt for the new one and our debit card (after already having a stressful morning) and I was greeted by friendly staff, who were just sooo kind and provided excellent customer service! I was a frazzled mess, but the employee I worked with was able to help me and just made the whole situation easy for me (Thank you!!!) …. And then I had (what I assumed were dumb questions) but he answered my questions with knowledge and again so much kindness! And his answers to my questions were spot on! I just needed my mechanic to reset the computer in my car after swapping the battery out…. I honestly haven’t experienced this much effort towards customer service and kindness since the pandemic started, theses guys are absolutely wonderful and truly care about their customers! Thank you all, you’ve got my business for life!

I have had good experience prior to the 2020 World Wide Pandemic that has killed over 530,000 US citizens. I will not go there ever again as they are obviously ignorant and making it a political issue rather than a medical one. Very disrespectful, to say the least!

I called and purchased new wiper blades for my wife’s car. Due to the virus my wife stopped by and asked them to run the blades out to her in the parking lot. Not only were they super nice about running them outside, they even installed them for her on the spot! Awesome service. Thanks guys! 🤙

No one in the store was wearing masks. Not one staff member was wearing a mask, including the two owners. When a customer brought up the issue, an employee said This is America as if that gives them permission to break state law and put their patrons in harms way. The owners stated that they were not intimated by state law trying to enforce the mask law. Any business that does not care about the well-being of their patrons deserves to fail.

I dont like the fact that they thumb their noses at the mask mandate in the area. I will not be back here again, even after the pandemic is over.

No masks on the staff or owner. Masks help protect customers and if this business does not respect its customers - I for one will not be customer. Quite a self centered attitude and certainly not customer friendly.

Purchased a headlight about two months ago and noticed there were no masks in use. When I commented on it I was laughed at by multiple employees and I left. Fast forward to today when I overheard someone talking about how the maskless people at Carquest really put a damper on his whole day. Months later and youre still being irresponsible and noncompliant? You already lost me as a customer but now Im speaking up to hopefully warn others. If you care about your community, go elsewhere because they obviously do not.

We broke down in Ashland OR. Got directions to Carquest. It was closed. Web page does not say it is closed. The sign on the door says they should have been open. And the final insult: their little motto: We never close!

Have lots of parts needed for working on your car either seems busy or staff doesnt fully engage with customers. Felt a little chilly from the staff but were helpful when they got to us just not the friendliest. Independent family run. Affiliated with Advanced Auto.

Typical high mark-up, parts store. The people working there are knowledgeable but their prices are literally three, to four times the online sources.

Needed some help with a burned out tail light. These guys went above and beyond to help. It may not seem like much to some but it’s the type of thing that makes me want to tell people “if you need parts, go there”.

This is far away the best parts store in Ashland. Sherman and crew have a huge inventory. If they dont have it in stock they will get it for you ASAP. I have never been dissapointed there. Huge selection of tools and lubricants, they even install wiper blades for you if you cant do it for yourself.

I drive 40 miles out of my way to shop here because the owner and staff are knowledgeable about their products and offer several different price options depending on the quality. The few times I have had a problem they warranted the part without question.

Needed snow tires and they were the only business in the area to have them. Life savers!!

Ive been to a lot of parts stores and everyone I go somewhere else, I wish I was at Ashland Carquest. They all know cars well so you dont have to explain to them what the basic part you need is. Theyre always friendly and very helpful. Best shop Ive been to in the northwest.

Needed help finding a odd fuse for a custom fog light install. When I asked if they could take a quick look under the hood to see the size, they straight up laughed at me. Agnes they werent busy. There was ONE other customer and two employees.

Knowledgeable owner and counter staff. Loaned me code reader, interpreted results, ordered parts needed and gave me tips on installing. Prob saved me couple hundred. I like their attitude.

I want to let everyone in town know that the owner of Ashland Or. Carquest, Sherman, is one of the most unethical and unscrupulous people I have met in business. I had a mobile mechanic (Jims Auto Repair; Jim Koenker) work on our car. He provided fake insurance, fake mechanics certificate and a fake business license. His bill was 5x what the estimate was. After days of asking for auto parts receipts, he provided Carquest (from Ashland) receipts which seemed extremely high. After calling several Carquests in Or.(and Advanced Auto, corporate office) I realized the receipts were fraudulently created by Carquest with Shermans name in the Teammate ID box, I thought There is no way the owner would be involved in this scam! I was WRONG. I went to Carquest and not only did Sherman admit to giving this fake backyard mechanic bogus receipts, he stated that he does it all the time. I asked him how this was ethical and he just smiled and shrugged his shoulders. If you are smart, stay away from Carquest Ashland and DO NOT let Jims Mobile Auto Repair touch your vehicle.

Great place to buy car parts. I first visited after reading a review and found the advice to be very accurate. The prices we less than NAPA and the service and selection was better than Bi-Mart or another multipurpose store. The component I really liked was the return policy. I bought parts for $120.00 and got home but couldnt finish the job. I ended up using Jantzer Automotive and left a 5 🌟 review of that experience. So my DIY car repair had morphed into a visit to Jantzer and I needed all my cash. Carquest gave me a full refund on the spot no questions asked! Thank you, Carquest.

Sherm special ordered the wrong part for me, when the mechanic said it was wrong Sherm argued and shrugged at me. Eventually he accepted the return however he still charged me the shipping and handling on both the initial order and the return. Now Im out $30 because of Sherms mistake and bad attitude. Ill take my business to Medford from here forward. I hope losing a life long customer was worth your $30, Sherm
