If you love your car take it to the dealership for paint. Had my mustang “repaired” here, took a week longer than the guaranteed finish date and they left bondo or some white substance all over the car and inside my trunk and on the inside of my passenger door. The paint is wavy and does not match factory and has big whiteish stains in areas. I called customer service and had my car checked at the maaco in Charlotte where I live, they said the paint job is terrible and needs to be repaired. The district customer service manager George said there is no money back or any way to get my car repaired at another shop with their compensation, my only option is bringing it back to the asheville shop and seeing what they can do. No thank you. Go anywhere else.

Took my car to be repaired Front End and Grill damaged.I was given a great price and great customer service initially. When I went to pick up my car it looked fine didnt really give a great look over. I havent drove but around town so I did not exceed 35 mph. When I drove it to work I could not drive my car over 40 miles per hour because they failed to put the front bumper on properly leaving several screws out on the passenger side which cause front end to shake and the tire lining to slap against the tire which ate a hole in it. When I returned to speak about what had happened a man named Jeff was very unprofessional and rude with me about the half job they did as if he was irritated. I called and spoke with the man who initially took my money who said he would address the issue that was on Friday said they will call me back never received the call it is now Tuesday and now they say they dont have the parts I will never ever try to save a few dollars again I normally go with Silvers and thats what I will do for now en very displeased very dissatisfied

Mat and Thomas are easy to work with. Great work on cosmetic type trim work on 2 of our Cadillacs. Plan on taking them our Jeep soon, too.

Not as bad as I had expected from Maaco, but the overspray is real. So far, I have taken two cars here. Both turned out as well as you can expect for an inexpensive paint job. While talking to one of the people who work here, they told me that they handle about 25-30 cars per week. That means 5-6 cars get painted every day. Do the math and you can understand that they will not be spending a lot of prep time on your car. That said, you will be a lot happier with the outcome if you spend a little time removing any easy trim pieces yourself before dropping off your car. I did that on my first car here, and I was really happy with the look of the car when I got it home and put it all back together. I did not do that with my second car, and I spent the next weekend at the salvage yard buying all new door gaskets for my minivan, because all the original ones had been painted white. There was also a few drip marks, which the staff said they can fix once the paint has had a few weeks to cure. Overall, the people are friendly, and its a good place to go if you want your car to look better and not break the bank.

I was a bit hesitant about this, but I found the pricing was worth any difficulty. Guess what, no difficulty. They did an awesome job. Manager was caring and attentive. Great deal.

My car, a Honda Odyssey 2007, was recalled for its paint and went years with a chipped front and hood, my boys nicknamed the car Chippy!!I got estimates at body shops and it was always so expensive I never chose to get the car painted. Until I found Maaco! Their prices were the most affordable and they did a fantastic job of matching almost the exact color as the factory and now I feel I have a brand new car!

I took my Honda Odyssey to three collision shops and these guys came in with the best price by a wide margin. They also did excellent work and did it fast. If you dont have collision insurance, I recommend them. If insurance is paying your claim, go ahead and go to one of the fancy shops and let your rates rise ;-)

Brought my truck down to have the hood repainted. First of all, after I was told that they would match the color as best they could, they painted the truck the paint code from the factory rather than matching the existing color of the paint. I wasnt told this is what they would do when I dropped it off. The guy I dropped the truck off to said they would try to get it as close as they could. Now I have a hood that looks like it came off a different truck. Secondly, the runs in the paint are horrible. I dont see how anyone can stay in business painting cars this poorly. The base color wasnt even mixed properly. On one side of the hood it looks even on the other side there are greens and blues coming through in huge splotches. I will never take anything I own to maaco again.

I had a Van painted with this company less than a year ago. I paid high dollar to have my Van painted properly not there cheap job they offer.And was told they were going to sand it down to bare metal before they did the paint job that was a complete lie they never sanded my Van down to bare metal at all or anywhere and less than a year later the paint is flaking and chipping all over because of Them not doing their job properly. Do not use this company unless you want to be lied to and have shady work done that is not done right.

They make false promises tell you that they are going to have it done two months later still not done rush through it in a few hours then spray over vehicles without even sanding then just throw their hands up like they’ve done everything and you’re just an unsatisfied customer You would have better luck painting your car while watching a dirt track race in a windstorm

This place is horrible!!! Office reeks of cigarette smoke. Looks like a junk yard. My written estimate they advertise was a total on the back of a business card I had to ask for. They advertise paint jobs starting at $399.I have a small truck with NO dents nothing to be repaired. No parts. Just paint. He said no less than $650. I said goodbye! To be honest ~ the place was a little scary.....

Incredibly unprofessional. Took 2 weeks to do a job they said would take 3 days and didnt even complete the job. Spent an extra 4 days to fix a power window, that they finally said we cant do it, someone else can. Spent a day taking apart the wrong window. Charged me labor for it. Ordered the wrong parts because they didnt check the year of the car. Go anywhere else. Ive used several other maaco locations and was satisfied, wouldnt recommend this one to anybody.

They did a really good job on my Jeep. They made sure everything was satisfactory before returning it to me

The owner is a lier! He takes cars that have been totaled out because of an accident, repairs just the outside to look pretty, leaves the internal damage alone, and then sales them like that!Also every car I have seen from this place doesnt look good at all and fades with 2 to 3 month!DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANY TYPE OF BODY WORK!

Maaco offers the most affordable, quality and genuine service around Asheville . After lightly scratching a friends bumper and being new to Asheville, I went around town looking for estimates . I consulted my mechanic friend who told me all the scratch needed was some paint, nothing else . Other places around town were giving me estimates of 600$, they said they needed to remove the whole entire bumper to do it right . I felt scammed . My mom told me to find a maaco and get an estimate there . They gave me an estimate of 280! They said that people will try to remove the bumper just to scam you and get more labor . I had the car back within two days and it looked wonderful . I appreciate their quick and friendly service . Ive done work with maaco twice now and they will always be my go to .

The man that gave me estimate has awful customer skills. He acted like he could care less if I was there or not. No hello, or even thank you. He ripped that estimate paper off and handed it to me without a word, so I went some where else for a paint job

Paint didnt look bad the worst thing is all the damage they did to my car trying to paint it. Heres a list (scratch my rear windshield, broke my plastic molding, and couldnt even tape the car properly go over spray all over my front and rear windshield and on just about every plastic molding on the car.) The wont even take responsibility for what they did all they told me was if I would have payed more they wouldnt have messed up. Worst experience ever and wouldnt recommend anyone ever use them. STAY CLEAR OF THIS MAACO LOCATION. unless you want your car back in horrible condition.

My dad use to work at a car lot that was located next to the maaqco shop, and his boss used the maaco paint shop on a regular basis. According to my dad, they always did a nice job on the vehicles he was sent to pick up from them, so i just recently purchased me an older model toyota tercel, and have been thinking about taking it there for a MAKE-OVER, and believe me, i WILL, TELL IT LIKE IT IS, if i;m not happy with the MAKEOVER, or if I am happy with it, either way it turns out, the public has the right to know the TRUTH..........and you will.
