The folks here are some of the most helpful and knowledgeable people I have seen. A cut above. No hardware store even comes close for service, and their prices are reasonable too!

I live in an old home so something is always in need of repair. I go to Wanamaker first and someone is always available to help me find the supplies I need and provide advice on how to get the job done right. They never lets me down.

This has been my favorite Hardware Store for years. Very helpful friendly staff. After giving a poor review a few months ago, due to a non-mask wearing employee, I returned to give the store another chance. I was pleased to see that all employees were all wearing their masks properly.

This place is a great community resource. Ive been shopping there since moving to the neighborhood in 1983 and have bought tiny bolts and nuts of obscure size, paint, electrical and plumbing parts, a garbage disposal still going strong after decades, and a specialty snow removal sledge by special order. They have a lot of stuff and they know where it is, and they offer decent advice to the homeowner.

Because of health concerns, I called the store and paid for my purchase online, and then a very nice and helpful employee (who was wearing a mask), put the purchase in the trunk of my car, which Id parked right in front of the stores entrance (there are about 3 spaces there). So, though I was sorry to read that one employee wasnt wearing a mask, I still love this place. And I hope these reviews encourage the employee to use a mask, especially since Covid cases are rising again in Massachusetts.

The folks at Wanamaker are very helpful and knowledgeable and the prices are reasonable. Its definitely better than the ordeal of going to their big box competitors.

I went there in need of inexpensive soil/ grass seeds. The customer service is great/friendly!! I also got gloves therr too!! Looking forward to my nect visit🙂

Very Helpful, When Shattuck in Lexington wouldnt cut Plexiglass, I took my business here. They not only made custom cuts for me, but advised me on my custom project. Will go back again! i recommend this place, Home Depot was useless as well, No associates didnt even know what Plexiglass was.

This little store often surprises with its range of products. The upstairs has a nice selection of housewares. Great customer service and honest advice from knowledgeable staff.

Great service, good selection, and reasonable prices. Parking is on the street, but Ive never had trouble finding a spot. Both times Ive been there Ive gotten high touch help in finding what I need. I highly recommend this place over any of the big box retailers.
