Great little store if you work in the building and just want a soda or a candy. Most of the drinks here are cheaper than on food trucks!

Love this place, I drop my dry cleaning off in the morning and grab a fresh breakfast sandwich before work.

NEVER TAKE YOUR DRY CLEANING HERENot only did Mr. Lee, the owner, lose my suit pants and give me someone elses instead, but he was completely unwilling to do anything to help find them. He also would not put me in touch with the actual cleaners they were sent to (as they do not do their dry cleaning in house) and basically accused me of lying about the whole thing. This all came after he charged me $5 without telling me (I had to ask why it was more expensive) for the labor of unbuttoning the buttons on my shirt.I have had the worst overall customer experience here of any business establishment I have ever been to, which is extremely disappointing since I work in the building directly above the shop. Please go somewhere else for your dry cleaning needs

For the past year or so, my husband and I have been patronizing David’s shop for all our dry cleaning needs. On Friday, July 6, I dropped off several items of clothing to be dry cleaned; my ticket noted that that the clothes would be available for pick up on Tuesday, July 10. I went in to pick up my clothes on Wednesday, July 11 around 4pm and was told that my clothes were not ready. The woman working the front register said that the owner, David, would have my clothes available in 20 minutes, so I went home and came back 20 minutes later. Not only were my clothes not ready, but I was informed that David wouldn’t be coming into the store at all that evening. I left him voicemail letting him know that I was leaving for a trip and needed my clothes - which had been promised to me by July 10 - immediately. He called me back that evening to let me know that he had my clothes and that I could pick them up if I made a third trip to his store, which I was unable to do because of my travel plans.David then proceeded to give me every excuse under the sun for why the delay in getting me my clothes was not his fault. He claimed that his laundering service dropped his contract last minute, and that when he finally found a new place to take the clothes, that person’s boiler broke, leading to more delays. I noted that while I felt bad for the situation, the bottom line is that David did not get me my clothes on time, I did not have my clothes for my trip, and that no amount of excuses made it okay. When I returned from my trip the following week, I went in to get my clothes and was told by David that I would receive a 10% discount for the inconvenience that he caused in the delay in getting me my clothes. I was happy with the resolution, and my husband and I decided to give this local small business a second chance. This afternoon, I went to pick up my husband’s dry cleaning. I asked for a line item receipt, but the woman at the register was not able to understand my request, so she called David and handed me the phone. David informed me that I had been given too large of a discount when I had picked up my clothes the previous week; apparently the woman at the register gave me $10 off my order instead of 10% off (which would have come out to about $2 off my $20 bill), so David decided to add the $7 difference to my husband’s bill without informing either of us. The only reason we found out is because I had David on the phone as I asked him for my line item receipt. I was shocked that he would add $7 to our bill without any explanation. David then went on to blame everyone but himself for his lack of customer service and communication. He blamed his laundering service, said he has had “the worst month of his life,” and went as far to tell me that the clerk who gave me a $10 discount instead of a 10% discount was “brain dead.” I was aghast. As I outlined my displeasure with his service, he began maniacally laughing. It’s my guess that he is unable to handle conflict and thus resorted to laughing as a coping mechanism. It was one of the most bizarre and unprofessional experiences of my life.I told David that although he is a nice person, he is doing a terrible job running a business. At no point in our conversation did he apologize or take responsibility for his mistakes. I want to support local small business owners like David, but he clearly doesn’t understand that when you take on a small business, you are accountable to your customers and that the buck stops at you.David would not refund the additional $7 he charged me (the difference between the $10 vs 10% discount) and claimed that he would credit my next order for $7. I have no intention of ever bringing my family’s business to David again. He hasn’t proven himself trustworthy or responsible, despite the many chances we have given him. I urge you to take your dry cleaning needs to another small business owner in the area. David clearly cannot handle the responsibility of a business, and I’d hate for anyone else to have to deal with his lack of professionalism.
