A good store that showcases all the stuff Microsoft sells. Its the place to visit if you want to test out the keyboards on the Surface Book or the hinge on the Surface Studio. A lot of gaming related stuff as well, including dream setups for PC gamers.

Clean store, great customer service, and great classes offered here for begining coding even for kids.

Really cool store, very attentive staff. Getting to demo MS hardware is great. It would be nice if the had the prices posted for the merch.

Great place to stop in and play some of the video games that they have offered. Occasionally I see a few homeless folks in here as well, I think its great that they can use the internet and the best part no one bothers them. I even noticed one of the employees bringing one of the homeless guy water bottle.

From the moment I entered the store the Microsoft staff were friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. They immediately approached me and offered me water and dealt with the issue I was having with my computer. Fantastic customer service!

The best customer service I have experienced in a long time. Bought two computers and the sales person spent two hours to make sure everything is set up correctly. He apologized because he had to leave at the end of his shift before the set up is complete even though he made sue that another person will complete the job. Frankly it was a very pleasant surprise. You simply do not find this quality of service anymore. Thank you Microsoft and please keep it up.

My friend and I came in to learn more about VR, and Darryl was amazing. He answered all of our questions and even let us try Beat Saber. Once my computer is built, Ill definitely be buying my gear from this location.

Amazing experience at this location. Hector Cruz was by far the most knowledgeable person I have met in one of these stores. We had a terrible experience at the Best Buy down the street and came here. Hector showed us several products and knew everything about them. We ended up making a purchase same day. Highly recommend Hector!

The absolute best customer service I have ever received. I walked into the store at around 7:30 pm on a Friday night, and had a technician helping me within 5 minutes. 1/2 Hour later my Surface had a fresh install of the operating system, and was working exactly as it should. a big thank you to Habib, Who performed the install. He also recommended products that would make my device more useful to me, but not in a way that I felt pressured to buy. Microsoft devices can be pricey, but the customer service that I received has earned my business. When it is time to upgrade I will drive straight to this store to purchase my next device. Another thing that I was very impressed with was the gaming area in the back of the store. They provide local kids an area to play Xbox, complete with consoles, and displays. I feel that this is an effective way to keep the youth busy doing something constructive, and not getting in trouble. It was great to see young people actually sitting down together and socializing while playing video games. its a rare occurrence these days. To me it shows that this business is interested in putting back into the community.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at the level of service that I was given. It wasnt on par with an Apple store but they did try their best. I didnt expect have as much as what I was given from the stores representatives. I went with a friend so she could purchase a computer. They seemed knowledgeable about the products. If I actually used Windows I might have considered getting one but since Windows sucks, id have to say the only thing in that store that was a plus was the happy and inviting employees.

Nice and helpful staff. Register my 11 years old for a free stem class in the Microsoft store and she loved it. My other 2 daughters for the duration of the class, they played games on the computers that are displayed in the store a s had a blast. I tried their displayed VR and I loved it so each one in the family has awesome couple of hours in the Microsoft store.

Super friendly staff, great demo setups, and well integrated with Microsoft online store (matched sale price from website in store). Will definitely be back to nerd out with the staff more. Glad to see Microsoft making such great strides - the focus on customer success (instead of just near term shareholder value) is very encouraging.

The Microsoft Store in Pentagon City tried to charge me $250 when I brought in my Xbox One X because it would no longer turn on. All I had to do was switch the power cord. Smh

I scheduled an appointment to help ensure proper syncing among my devices as I’ve lost contacts when I switched to a new phone. The tech was nice but couldn’t help. In fact, I lost more contacts immediately after his assistance. So we scheduled an appointment with someone he through would have more expertise. I got an email confirming my appointment but when I showed up the tech had not come into work. Trips to Pentagon City are extremely inconvenient for me. I’m extraordinarily disappointed in the poor service.

Without question the best customer service Ive had in ANY store, EVER in the past 40 years. I bought a Surface Pro 4 from them at Christmas. Ive gone in a half dozen times (Im computer savvy enough to need more help than the average user :-) and keep needing help to either fix things or get to the next level), and I consistently get quick, friendly help from people who actually know what theyre doing. Note: Whenever I go to Online help, I get outsourced people who make things worse...when I come in to the store to fix the damage the online people did, they solve it AND explain what theyre doing so I can learn from it. This Store Is Awesome!!

If you need a decent PC or some nice tech then this is a great option. But Microsoft is not the only store in the world to get a decent PC or other tech. Still a good store that sells quality products though.

The people who work here are honestly some of the best in retail. Ive visited several times trying to procure a surface pro 2, which is out of stock everywhere, and they have consistently been polite, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile. Awesome staff here.

Best Buy sold me a defective controller and wouldnt exchange it for a new one. Took it in to this store, explained the situation, walked out with a brand new one within 5 minutes. This sales team is top notch. Best Buy lost a loyal customer today, and this store gained a new one. Thanks guys.

Went to get my Surface fixed and was sitting with an associate in a matter of minutes. Really nice staff and clean store. Im not really tech savvy but the associate made sure I understood what the problem was and got me settled right away, which is great since I needed it for school!

After some initial issues with getting in contact with the store I was able to set up an appointment the same day for someone to check out my Xbox One X. I arrived 15 minutes late to the store but was told by one of their employees, Chris, that this was no issue. Chris then helped me trouble shoot my Xbox and found out it was an issue with the hardware. He immediately went to the back and got me a brand new one to replace my old one free of charge. He then helped me set up the new one, download all my games so that I wouldn’t have to when I got home, and set up everything so that I would be able to use it as soon as I got home all while engaging in pleasant conversation and answering all my questions I had about Microsoft products as well as other topics. The customer service provided by Chris was excellent and left me a very happy customer. If you have any issues with Xbox or other products he’s the guy to see at the store!

As a former Microsoft professional, I can’t help but visit the store whenever I pass by. Everything looks good; but I’ve never seen anyone buy anything there.

Brought my new (malfunctioning) laptop to the Microsoft Store, without an appointment, and they helped me right away. Got me a coffee and listened to my problems. Immediately began troubleshooting and finding solutions to the issues. Really smart, helpful, and patient IT people.Turned out I needed an entirely new laptop due to hardware problems, and the support staff there were super helpful in finding the same model in a nearby store to arrive the next day for pickup (as opposed to waiting for 2-3 weeks for one to arrive in the mail by normal ordering processes). Definitely appreciate their help and assistance throughout the process.

I was going to buy a New Surface Pro. Had some questions with regard to changes from the Pro 4.Stood beside the computers for 15 minutes, no one approached me, and I saw two employees hanging around other stations. I probably could have approached one of them... but I didnt want to.I bought a Pro 4 on Amazon that evening. I dont think the upgrades are worth the price of a New Pro. Maybe the Next New Pro will be worth it. Fingers crossed.

Amazing, staff was very helpful able to.answer all my questions and were able to walk me through everything. They were easily able to handle the mass inbound of people and made sure everyone was able to get what they needed or just watch the new tech.

This is for the Onilne store.. Placed an order, the next day I called to cancel before it shipped. The support rep. said no problem, I have stopped it and canceled the order, 3 hours later I received the Shipped notice. When I called back the second time. the REP who would not offer a name, said she charged my account and sent the package anyways. She would have to send notice to UPS to return it to them, if it was not received back to Microsoft, I would not get my money back. In the meantime they would hold my money for 7 days. I called a third time, asked to speak to a supervisor, this REP wanted to solve the issue and asked if I received the package yet. I mean really!!!! I just told her the order was canceled today, the whole story, NOT EVEN SHIPPED yet. The supervisor would not do a thing for me and started trying to tell me I did not talk with the first REP after which I provided a case number, then told me the shipping had already occurred and the 1st rep told me that, which was a blatant lie by the supervisor. I told him to review the recordings. He said that would take too long...... I WILL NEVER BUY FROM MICROSOFT STORE AGAIN!!!

I was attending a conference in Crystal City but know Pentagon City and the mall. Apple has a similar outlet upstairs. As I have both platforms I was convoluted as to which one of them was the best.

Microsoft online wouldnt not help me with my controller that was sticking with the left bumper and left button. They fully replaced my controller and this store understood my problem and emptathized with true passion and efficiency. For sure they have gained a repeat customer.

I called the store to see if they had a surface two for my grandsons birthday and after talking to John about what inventory they had I decided I am going to pre order an Xbox 1 for him instead and keep the surface for myself. All of the staff were very helpful and appreciated their prompt service.

Walked in today because my MS band 2 was in the process of breaking. The lady that helped me was VERY helpful & they IMMEDIATELY gave me a new replacement band, NO QUESTIONS ASKED. The other reviews are correct about this store.

Okay, so Ive had so many issues with this store it is ridiculous. The staff are friendly and they do their best to help, but I have returned to this store 3 times in one day to receive a new surface pro 4 because each new device they give me has a screen defect one way or another. The first two times the employees had dropped my laptop in front of me before handing it back and the last time, fortunately that didnt happen but for some reason when I returned home I noticed the new computer I received had yet ANOTHER SCREEN DEFECT. Which is completely unnecessary at this point, Im unsure if its just all surface pros? or this store in general. Overall I am completely frustrated and extremely unsatisfied.

I went in with multiple problems on my laptop, phone, and outlook account. Service was fantastic. From first walking into the store I was warmly greeted and asked how they could be of assistance. Even though I did not have an appointment I was helped by store rep Loreal almost immediately. She was very patient with me and took me through step-by-step procedures in correcting each of my problems. I strongly recommend the store for anyone that has any microsoft related problems. i cant say enough positive comments regarding their service and help.

I went in Saturday after spending 45 mintues with geek squad at best buy.make a long sorry short they told me to come to Microsoft store.I went in and explain what issues I was having with my son Xbox one console.at first the female employee wqs hwlping me ahe checked it out I guess try to figure out what was wrong with it....she seemed new or not sure.I rather her just be honest with then to give me a wild guess and tell me there is nothing we can do the console was a lost.which was not an explanation of nothing.so who comes to save the day D.West is his name tag I believe .AMAZING services.basically he treated me well .positive .answer questions and did not make me feel dumb.like the other employee .store was nice and busy 5 stars to Mr.West. I think they should train other employees that have weak customer services skills. Mr.West saved the day and I will be return and hopefully work with him again.HAPPY holidays!!!

I went here for a SharePoint keynote a couple months ago, several people on their team were certified SharePoint developers, it was a great visit. This was on the 2013 platform / 365 office integration.

I walked in with my 11 year old to buy him either the Oculus Rift or HTC Vive. He put a Vive on and an employee came over to berate him, with me standing there. We were waiting for 19 minutes for someone to speak with us and no one came forward before.I stood there and purchased one of each from Amazon. Poor customer service is something that shouldnt be expected during the Holidays.

Went to the store to get a replacement Microsoft Pen. Excellent customer service from the staff, that was both knowledgeable and in tune with things going on in the tech world in casual conversation. Theyre a smaller store, but their staff left a big impression on me.

Great assortment of products and friendly non pushy staff

I was in this store twice for a data transfer and both times the tech people did not know how to do this. My time was wasted and both times the supervisor did not help me at all other than suggesting for me to come down again to waste more of my time. I regret purchasing the Surface Pro as my first one didnt last a year and now the second one cant get the needed data as their techs cant do it.
