The hair I am taking out this weekend I’ve had for over 2 years and it looks great (it’s been fried and dyed).4 stars because the price is ridiculous! Hair that used to cost me 700 years ago now is 1300. They also only carry up to 26 inch in stores, does not work for me at all! For these reasons, I’ll be looking for another place to get my hair but would absolutely recommend her imports (if you can afford to pay 2 rents in one month because that’s how much long hair will cost!).

Do not! I repeat, do not order hair from here! The quality is not worth the price AT ALL!I purchased 3 “premiums” bundles of Brazilian Body wave.1.) One of my 16” bundles did not match the others AT ALL.2.) Once wet/washed the hair to not revert back to its “natural wave.”3.) The hair also maintains a lot of oil. Anytime I try to oil my scalp underneath it gets on a hair a little and the hair looks super oily.I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!I contacted customer service to express my concerns as I found out after my stylist put my base in and the only thing they would offer is a $25 future credit that cannot be combined with other offers. Which, who says I even want to shop here anymore and if it cannot be combined it truly isn’t an accommodation at all. This is after paying $325 for the hair at a “discounted price”. I spoke with customer service and a manager named Latoshia at this location. I expressed my concerned prior to writing this review. No accommodation. You ladies should do a better job taking care of your paying customers, especially when it’s repeat business. Unless you all have legit accommodations no need to respond.

I waited a little while to post my review after my install, but I have nothing but good things to say about the hair and location. I went in to this location about a hour prior to closing time. I didn’t get the persons name who helped me but she was very friendly. I was in and out and got exactly what I needed. I hot water colored the hair and got no shedding during the process. My bundles were thick and I ended up only using 2.5 of the bundles. This location is convenient too, metro stop is right at the front door.

This has been the only company that I would purchase my hair from for years now! And I’ve never been disappointed as I am with my most recent purchase! I purchased this hair Sept 8th, almost a week ago now. And it is a tangled, shedding mess!!! I purchased 3 premium Brazilian bundles as usual. I’ve never experienced this issue with this hair! I’m highly disappointed because this hair is not cheap! And again I’ve never had this experience with herimports after many, many years of purchasing from here. $463.01 just thrown away! It may be time to find another company. I did not color this hair or add any chemicals and it looks horrible! Not sure what’s going on with Herimports hair quality but it’s not at all the quality it use to be!

I never thought I would find a hair company like Her Imports! But I did!!! I visited their store in Greenbelt like two years ago. I didnt follow hair care instructions and had a horrible experience. I tried again at this location in July of 2015. I conditioned the hair before installing and did some other things that made me feel comfortable. Long story short, I have been wearing this hair every since. I recently purchased Brazilian Deep Wave and now I wear both in my hair and I still get compliments on over a year old hair. The financing is amazing and Im always impressed with the way the ladies in the store walk me through the process of buying my hair. They even usually suggest hair stylist in the area. I have my own but its very nice. Try this hair and follow the hair care instructions! You will be impressed!

I am always sooo happy with my purchase and service at this location. I’ve been coming here for a few years now (since they were in Alexandria)! Mia (pronounces Mya) is awesome. Always super helpful and very patient with my million questions. But I always leave happy and not second guessing my decision. !

This hair is disgusting. Do NOT even attempt to purchase. First off, it comes out in clumps. Literally. I have hair balls after the 3 day of purchase. Now, after a wash, the hair is easy to manage but as soon as it dries, it’s coming out and shedding. Then, i received a closure that did not match the texture of the hair and when i call to let her know, she’s speaking to me as if I’m stupid and don’t know the difference in pattern. She take your money and you’re on your own regardless of anything after that. Customer service is not key and i will not recommend you buy with them. Totally 1 Star.

Great Experience. I went to this location last week just to consult with them and they were so patient with me. Initially I thought they may have felt like I was waiting their time since I wasnt there to purchase anything, but I did not get that vibe from them at all. The ladies worked with me. They helped me to understand everything. Ive been wearing weaves off and on for about 7-8 years now and after trying two different hair vendors and having horrible experiences I had given up on wearing bundled hair. I went back to this location today to purchase a closure and an extra bundle, and I received the same quality of service. patient, understanding, and want you to be happy with purchasing from them. I cant wait to get my install tomorrow! Im so happy with my decision to purchase from them because bundles are an investment and I get a feeling that I have invested in the right company!

I visited the Alexandria location and it was very nice. I was assisted by a knowledgeable staff member. The hair has been of good quality so far. I purchased a frontal and 3 bundles (14-16 & 18) totallying about $650. I have experienced slight shedding over the last two days. Its been tangle free and has kept its fullness and shine since styling. Id recommend HerImports to anyone looking for good quality hair extensions.

Please do not do business with these people. My order was placed on 11/24 and i paid $422.50 in full, however, after reading the reviews, I decided to cancel.I called and emailed on 11/25 and 11/26, the lady Raleigh told me to call USPS and ask that the package be sent back to them. I called USPS with the tracking number and they said the package hadn’t been picked up. I called back, the Raleigh lady after placing me on hold for 15mins told me she couldn’t find my package at the warehouse and she would be canceling the order. I asked her to send me a cancellation email confirming this.6Hours later i still didn’t get an email and I called back. I guess it was the same lady but she acted like she was someone else, she lied and said the order had been shipped out (Which was a big lie cos it still showed shipping label created) and i would just have to wait to receive the item and ship it back to them. WHAT NONSENSE. Mind you, the warehouse is 10miles away from me.I’ve disputed this with my credit card company and will never do business with this company again!!I will NOT recommend this business. They lie a lot, do not keep their words and have zero customer service skills.

Always get hair from her imports because its the only place n the Dmv area with 100% virgin hair... The exact hair I need. I usually get 20,22,24 of the Peruvian wavy. Love it n usually last about 6-8 months.

I bought hair and was told I can get a refund by one employee and they basically scammed me out my money when I went to return the hair the next day. Then the manager Mya had the worst attitude like her employee didn’t give out the wrong information. I see why their business is going downhill and no one talks about them no more. Should’ve never bought hair from a place where the employee wigs didn’t even sit right on their head so I guess that’s on me

I have been a stylist for 10 years and Herimports has definitely proven their worth. I had 2 new clients who wanted weaves for the first time and they were well beyond satisfied! Ever since then they are all I recommend.. I even even take them to the office if I have to! Her imports has taken the weave game to another level and Im loving it. #teamherimports

Good hair. But the smell of all the hair I have ever gotten is HORRIBLE! This will be my last purchase from Her imports. I spent $380 on hair to have to come home wash it 3x to get the smell out & now have to use chemical wash & moisturizer on Brand NEW HAIR! & It still stinks.... To many hair distributors out there to be dealing with stinky bundles.. Loyal customer gone.

Each set of hair that ive gotten has lasted 4 years and thats really good. i actually have in her imports hair in my google review photo. i bleached the hair colored it orange and colored in back and the hair is still in good condition. This hair company is literally the only one that i trust the most. Her imports has me shook❤️😍😍😩.

Do not buy the discount hair!!!! I went in a few days ago to purchase 28 inch discount bundle to add length to bundles Ive previously purchased. First I had to question the length as it looked extremely short, but was told that it was curly so that added to shrinkage. I could understand that, but upon install, the quality was horrible. The texture was of doll baby hair. It tangled during PROFESSIONAL install to the point my stylist had to continuously brush to de- tangle. Once installed the hair was so thin at the ends, my stylist recommended that I cut it so I wouldnt have thin see thru ends. I am so disappointed that I wasted money to at inched that ended up on the salon floor. And the hair have off a slight liquor smell. Ive always had great results the other 4 times Ive purchased through her imports, but this time im considering NEVER going back.

The quality of the hair is good at a reasonable price but always make sure that when getting bundles that you have the same type of hair.... they rush and sometimes could give you hair that doesnt match

My daughter was preparing for her prom and was adamant about ordering hair. We typically would buy from the beauty supply stores, so ordering was very new for me. I wasnt crazy about the idea of ordering. I was at a lost and had no idea where to start. I came across Her Imports website and was super relieved that there were local stores! Were in the DMV area, so I was in close proximity to two! I took her to the Alexandria, VA location. The associate knew we were first time purchasers...she was so welcoming and patient! I had a million questions and she answered each. (Let me say good customer service is a requirement for me when Im spending my money.)The hair was affordable...we purchased 3 bundles- (2) 12 inch (1) 14 inch! After buying, we had the hair lifted to a lighter color. It dyed with no problem.The texture was great and it styled easily. There was minimum shedding even after washing and styling the hair several times after install. It blend great with her hair. My baby was stunning!I have since also purchased from the website and from the Greenbelt, MD location. I received the same exact customer service and quality of hair didnt waver. Weve referred several people to Her Imports. Compared to other places, I feel comfortable knowing I can purchase affordable hair of good quality, face to face or online.

Best hair I have ever had! I used to think her imports was wayyyy to expensive, so I shopped at queen virgin remy and various other vendors. Let me tell you it was well worth the money. I have never been more satisfied with my bundles!!! I got 3 20 Brazilian body wave and I love it!!! I have installed over 5 times because I get a fresh install every 6 weeks. I take out, wash and put right back in. I love this hair! Cant wait to buy more, especially now that they have buy now pay later. I was a bit nervous the first time I went there due to the research that I did. But Mr. Andre (Keith) explained all the products to me and answered all of my questions. He also helped me pick the best texture of hair and accessories that I needed. My first hair purchase was 3 bundles of 20 Malaysian Body Wave with a 12 Closure, shampoo & conditioner, and a hair cap. The hair didnt stink like most people have stated. And it was packaged nicely for me. My transaction was very good. The second purchased i made was of the My Hair Indian Temple hair in 18,20,20 natural hair color. Which I absolutely loved!!! That hair was packaged so pretty and had a natural pretty curl pattern. All I can say is that I am in Love with My Hair Purchases, and the customer service I have received at the VA store. I get so many compliments on my hair and I LOVE IT!!!!

Purchased Her Imports Body Wave hair approximately two weeks ago, hair looked great upon purchase...and then the problems start (all within a 2 week period):-Smell: When the hair got wet/was washed, theres that infamous unpleasant cornchip smell that permeates the extensions.-Quality: Guys, even Milkyway lasts a month or two. This hair TANGLED and shedded horribly; I have never seen any shedding in my 10 years of wearing extensions. My install felt much lighter after I gave up on detangling.I was late to a party because I had to uninstall the rats nest hair and place in a new bundle from another vendor. When contacting HerImports, first the customer service representative marked my case as complete without even contacting me. When I followed-up with the complaint, Jerome made sure to tell me that there are no refunds or exchanges...but they were willing to give me 20% on the next purchase. WHY would I purchase again? Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice...you know the rest.Anyways, Im writing this review to warn other prospective buyers of the mediocre quality of the hair that HerImports provide. Spend your hard-earned cash elsewhere...
