We went in to buy some breakfast cereal 🥣. Came out 25 minutes later with $ 75.00 worth of groceries. L.o.l. they have everything on sale. 4 cases of bottled water for only $ 10 . Thought that was a good deal. Check the place out. Lots of deals. 😁

Don’t get to Big Lots as much as we don’t have one in town anymore but it’s nice to see what they carry.It doesn’t appear to be as it once was, overstock and surplus goods as well as a lot of junk. The quality is much better. It used to be more of a bargain outlet. They do have some nice stuff though. Store is much better organized than in past. It’s surely worth a trip!!

Gave us a couch with bed bugs in it. we were not explicitly told the couch was used and so we had no issue buying it. the couch was also not cleaned- there were food crumbs and sand in between the cushions.the staff was very kind and gave us our money back, and thankfully it seems we caught the bugs and got our place treated fast enough, but this caused me the most stressful couple weeks of my life. (the staff was so nice i actually feel bad leaving this review, but i think its important other people know.)this was our first ever couch purchase so we learned some lessons and one of them is to not buy from big lots clearance, i guess.

You will find a huge variety of household & seasonal items here. They now even have a great selection of furniture. Prices similar to discount stores & even lower on some things. Clean, well lit store & courteous staff. Great place to go; you will always find something. Worth the stop.

We go on a Girls Roadtrip on Saturdays. We travel from Oshkosh to Appleton. We go to Various stores in the area. After lunch we stopped at Big Lots. We found many different things to our likening. The store was rearranged since we were there. Found alot of new things and in the carts we put it. But there was alot less isles of the personal items...Couldnt find a few things we normally get there. Standing in line was very different for us. The staff seemed very friendly and nice. Will keep visiting this store. Very good service today

Some things are good deals. Get there when ad comes out for chair cushions or you may not find enough.

Was a good visit to see the changes in the store (havent been there for a few years). New store design with lots of new products but prices are Not what they used to be!

So friendly and helpful. Love going there. After 15 years, we upgraded the bed to a new king size. Our dogs are so happy!

This store is much improved from the last time I was there. Mind, it is still a discount store with a lot of cheap looking things, however, the general feel is more discount store than junk store. The store is well laid out with fairly clear departments. As with all retailers there are a few grey areas due to seasonal merchandise. I was able to find what I was looking for without assistance and once I proceeded to the checkout I was assisted by a friendly clerk and was able to take my leave without any hassles.

Just window shopping. Found a large pack of socks for my granddaughter. This location will have a mountain of products, all tastefully selected. You will find everything from furniture to foodstuffs. Enjoy your visit.

Helpful staff but they are RIGHT ON you like vultures. I get they need to make a sales but give the customer your card and let them look in peace.. They have a lot stuff and the price are really reasonable. However the best deals are in the clearance. However you have to go down DEEP ramp to get to it. I am in a manual wheel chair and can not roll myself up the rank o my husband has to do push me. Its pretty taxing pushing someone up a deep ramp. It would be so much easier if the entire store was one level. Also in clearance section the couches and chairs have very narrow aisles. Not wheel chair friendly at all

When people ask me why I love Big Lots this is what I say. Its like going to a yard sale but with new stuff. You just never know what youll find. Pretty much every time I go to Appleton I stop in at Big Lots.

Just there last night. Always has stuff you will not see elsewhere. They have some killer sales days. I have to look at everything in the store. Some items are the lowest price you will find them. Oh my, I found sugar free barbecue sauce, 10 calories a serving!! I just got done eating it on steak oh yum, not spicy which I hate, I better go buy more while they have it. A little bit of anything and everything in this store.

Lots of good stuff. Was hoping for more Halloween stuff tho. There was 5 times more Christmas stuff than Halloween 3 weeks before Halloween.

Can always find something unique.

A couple months ago my husband and I bought patio chair cushions from the Appleton Store. When the weather got warm enough we tried them on our chairs and discovered they were to large. Today my husband went to return them and learned they would only give us a store credit and not a refund. It does say on the receipt this is their policy( which by the way sucks) but because of the circumstances and the late Spring they should have returned our money. We will find something to spend our credit on but I promise you we will NEVER shop your store again and suggest to others the same thing.

Found a few good deals. Really liked all of the different things they had there.. The only negative thing I could say... Really crowded. North much room to move around with a cart in some places.

This is a discount store. Sure it may not be that well presented. However, dont look past it. You can find some real good deals here. They also have a somewhat large furniture section.

We usually shop here for our summer patio decor but I was looking in the Sunday circular and rugs were on sale. Upon entering, we saw a rug put in with a sectional couch and a table group. Price was on the table along with the price of the tables and couches. Grabbed 1 from the back. According to price on the table, the 5×7 should have been $69. At the checkout we were charged $103. Showed the man the rug and the price and he said it belonged on another grouping. Funny that all groupings with rugs had the same price. Now I dont know if Big Lots tells their workers to price everything vaguely to get more money or what but I find this practice very disconcerting . We did need more decor for the patio this year and I know that losing our business is no big deal for the company but we have decided to shop elsewhere. Im not trying to be vindictive but if this store suffered the fate of shopke, I wouldnt be upset.

Big lots has everything you could possibly need/want. Most friendly, helpful, & go out of their way to please people. I will definitely return & recommend!

Some prices are great, others are too high. Watch what you buy. Employees are not on the floor ad much as they are at the register. I was surprised to find as many clearance items as we did. They have a wonderful furniture selection but I was disappointed to find they no longer carry kitchenettes.

Ido not like to shop, but people working there were helpful, seemed like they enjoyed their work and answered all my questions! I appreciate that and will be more likely to go back

The customer service was great. I was greeted as I walked in and wished a nice day as I left. The staff are so inviting and professional. Plus the prices are reasonable.

A great place to find curtains and other home decor at prices that are reasonable. Also a great place to stock up on bottled beverages. They always have affordable patio furniture and decor as well.

I stopped here to pick up a gift for a childrens birthday party that was nearby. The you isle was tiny and there was nothing to choose from. As far as Im concerned, the prices arent competitive either. I couldve paid the same price or better and got a better selection almost anywhere else. Their gift bags and tissue were even more of a rip off. $3 for 10 sheets of tissue paper and the cheap gift bag was $4. Never again

They have some really good deals on some name brands. You just need to see what quality other things have that they carry. You can usually tell.

I delt with bruce in furniture and he is so nice! I love the financing option too. I am buying a really nice couch and matching love seat for only 700!! and they dont do credit or income checks and they are more understanding and flexible. I recommend this place to anyone, even if its for other things besides furniture!!! I will definitely continue my business there!

I love big lots. Only complaint is during the holidays its a bit difficult to find things cuz its been rearranged for holiday stuff.

I have shopped at Big Lots for many years. They do have some very good deals, however, like every other store you have to be careful what you buy.
