They had stuff for 1cent and I scanned it through there app and I couldnt get it cause they were gonna destroy. Like I actually willing to pay for them but they are just gonna destroy it :( worst customer service ever. The cashier was the only pleasant thing about my experience she was nice. Cashiers and managers are always courteous and friendly to patrons. Product knowledge and placement is questionable, at times. Front-end staff should be more aware of items listed in store ads, especially electronics. Health and beauty items are frequently out-of-stock. No public restrooms are available.

This specific store location has the most unprofessional & rude staff & store manager Ive ever encountered... on top of that they have a cashier by the name of Christine who literally has a disability that causes her to be slow and she is unable to count... she had given me the wrong change every time Ive stopped in. Im all for them employeeing people with disabilities but they should not give a person with an inability to count money a cashier position where that person is handling customers money!! The store is very dirty and unsanitary... things like when I grabbed a soda out of the cooler the bottles are sticky or the can tops are dirty, the candy shelves have about an inch of dust on them no one fronts and faces the store to make it look nice, items are regularly outdated and expired I purchased muffins that were so hard they felt like rocks and lunch meat that was 2 weeks expired that they reluctantly gave me a refund on upon return my returning to make them aware and then they acted like it was my own fault I failed to check dated on every product purchased bcux I had faith in them that products would be current and not expired and the following trip I noticed a milk in the coller that was 9 days expired and a juice that was 2 months expired although Im not sure exactly what expired coolaid type juice is like after expiration date but I imagine if something has an expiration date its for a reaon!! The cashiers and staff are never around when you need them there is typically 1 person working at a time... 2 if your very lucky so your constantly waiting and hunting down your cashier when your ready to check out and when they do finally come to the front they act rude to you bcuz youve called them away from whatever other task thdoing such as re stocking... customers should be the first priority otherwise WHO are they stocking the shelves for if they get so upset when they have to come to the front to check customers out! If I could leave a no star review I would!

Unprofessional and inconsiderate. Angel made me buy a pack of gum my 1 year old put in her mouth and didnt give me any other option all while she ate Burger King at the registers right inftont of me and other customers.The store looks very unorganized and messy compared to other family dollar stores I go too.

Sent my kiddos (11yr and 9yrs) and their friend (11 yrs) across the street with $20 to purchase snacks since they were having a sleep over. Angel accused one of them of stealing. She said he was looking at video games and his pants pocket looked boxy when he walked out. She asked him to come back inside the store and questioned him about what was in his pockets. He had NOTHING. Horrible experience as these children are just starting to gain a little independence and were excited to run to the store, which is across the street, on their own but came home disappointed and after being accused of stealing. What a horrible experience for these children. The accused child said he felt really scared while being questioned. She had nothing to base her accusations on other than his sweat pants looking boxy. Its sad that these employees have low customer service skills and lack social skills. When confronted, she said kids steal all the time and she was just doing her job. She had no compassion and was argumentative. Disgusting.
I purchased a Frozen 2 drawing combo Art set for my granddaughter who is 2. I had an extensive long conversation with the lady at the checkout who by the way was VERY helpful (medium length brown hair, mid 40,s with glasses). I explained how we were traveling thru Illinois on our way to Florida to visit with grandchildren. She helped me with the purchase as well as explaining the Pokemon stuff that my grandson is into and that I purchased for him.I kept this item in my truck because I didnt want my other grandson to see it in the house and think it was for him so the best & safest hiding place was in my SUV. When my daughter in law explained to me that the art set might be too old for her and that she is more into baby dolls, I decided to take it back. I was hoping the same lady was working because she was such a delight.The lady working was a older blonde lady in her mid 50s, (manager?) And when I explained the whole situation and gave her my receipt, she said there was a crayon that was melted and she couldnt take it back!! YES people MELTED CRAYONS!!! Even tho I explained to her I just purchased this thing about a week prior along with $60 worth of toys and it was kept in my truck hidden and not sure if she noticed that the weather has been extremely cold outside but theres NO WAY this was my fault! It went in my truck when purchased & hasnt been touched since. She INSISTED that I did something to this and raise her voice to a tone that I wasnt comfortable with and was quite shocked! I asked her how in the world could the crayons tip be melted in the freezing winter in the back of a vehicle that sits outside & not in a garage? She had no answer so I asked her is it possible that I could have purchased it that way & not payed attention myself, after all the kind lady was taking me all over the store looking at all different toys for the ages I needed and I was loading up on them. Of course her reply was no theres no chance because she personally inspected every one of those when they came in off the truck. For some reason I find that hard to believe she inspected every crayon but hey thats what shes sticking to.I decided to not tie up the customers behind me with her rudeness attitude toward me anymore and call it a loss but I will say this....I WILL NEVER EVER STEP FOOT OR SPEND 1 DIME IN THAT STORE AGAIN!!! Dollar General will have my business moving forward!!Ive explained this incident to several people and there seems be a pattern with this particular manager with her attitude towards people and her rudeness. She might consider checking that before she continues to keep loosing customers.

I always find what I need
I bought a telescope for my nine year old son for his birthday. The cashier told me to keep my receipt in case it didn’t work. Well my son open his present to find out it was broken (remind you it was the last one) a day later I went in there to take it back. The manager said I couldn’t because it was a Christmas item. So I asked if I could have in store credit and told me no but I could go to other family dollars to see if they have one, so I did and nothing. I’m so upset about this so my son gets something that was already broken and not his fault. I spent 25 dollars on it and they couldn’t even do nothing. My business will be going somewhere else.
Store manager is grouchy and unhelpful on a consistent basis. She lacks in customer service. The other employees are helpful and there is a good selection of products
