Excellent breakfast! Unique flavor pairings and they actually season their eggs which is far too rare. Their regular house blend coffee & espresso is on the bright acidic side which isnt my favorite but they have so many other options theres a roast for everyone. Excellent staff. Recently renovated and huge inside now. I highly recommend.
Saw a post for the French toast. didnt even know they had food like this. Went on the web site and put in an order. the waffles sounded too good to pass up. Best French toast I have had, and I make it pretty good myself. and the syrup for the waffles, made with caramel, my weakness, and bacon!! only part I did not like is order was sitting on a table. no verification, no idea how long it may have been there, no one said anything.
Expanded & nicely renovated! Their avocado toast & Mexican breakfast bowl are 👌. Really nice touches throughout. Tables are sanitized, areas are very clean, & I love the no touch soap dispenser, hand dryer, and instant warm water faucet in the restroom. That was a pleasant surprise! Support Local, Appleton ❤!!!
Very overpriced food and nobody on staff wearing a mask. I wont be back.
The food, desserts, and coffee were delicious. I got the waffle with pecans and bacon on it and the whole dish was very well made from the light and fluffy waffle to the smokey bacon. The coffee had a nice flavor that was not to acidic tasting. The store is very nice inside with a very open atmosphere and was very clean. Would highly recommend if you have not tried it yet, one of my new favorites in the Fox Valley.
Delicious food, friendly service, and a great atmosphere. Definitely will be coming back soon!
Dude i did not expect fries from a coffee place to be so good omg, and they were like apologizing for the wait on the drinks but we didnt even wait that longvery nice people and very good food and drinks
Was looking for a good coffee and grub...found this spot after some1 mentioned they went to ACOCA so I had to try it out...and no dine in...but brought the pecan waffles home w me and crisped it up in my toaster oven (in the box it loses its crisp) then added banana and omg!!!! YUMMMM!!! Had a hazelnut latte and gf had the dirty chai and a bagel...we say the bagel needs some mixed greens and a pesto aioli to add a BAM factor otherwise it was a must try! The basil fruit is great...a bit pricey but for fresh ingredients its worth it!
Best coffee selection in Appleton. Great seating, always clean. Really good breakfast menu beyond just bakery items
Stopped in for breakfast. The roasted red pepper coulis is amazing. Id eat it as soup :) We tried the Sconnie Centric and Morning Sprouts. Both were fantastic. The coffee is also great.
Oh my gosh!! Favorite coffee shop in the valley! Pictured is the gingersnap latte and it was so creamy and frothy and the flavor was sweet but had the nice ginger bite to it. It was perfectly made. I have coffee everyday and I would call this one of the best lattes I have EVER had ❤❤ 10/10 recommend
LOVE the remodel/addition. The bathrooms used to be the weakest part of the visit and now are a highlight! Menu additions are amazing!
It felt like buying something to eat and drink in an airport where the prices are extremely high. Yet, in an airport I have had far better food so at least the price was worth it.
Really good breakfast and coffee, it’s also really nice inside. This has been my favorite place for breakfast on College ave this summer.
Excellent coffee they roast their own beans there so its so good and great staff.
Incredible food, awesome atmosphere, nice front window for people watching. Really cool spot, 10/10 would recommend
Great food! Got the (Mexican?) burrito. Super good with a chipotle and garlic sauce on the side and American fries. Wife got the pecan bacon waffles. Wow. Daughter got a bagel sandwich which was also very good. Coffee was just average. Didnt do the greatest job texturing the milk. Also, Im a little mystified why our lattes, etc., were served in styrofoam? I saw the ceramic cups there. Our food came on plates and included silverware... ???
Amazing breakfast and coffeeAbsolutely loved the morning sproutsCannot wait to go back!
Lovely little place and the potatoes are amazing!
Excellent coffee and people. Very knowledgeable about their coffee and food, super tasty vegan options!
Great place. Great coffees.
Great coffees and delicious sandwiches.
Looking forward to eating here. Just had coffee, but they have a great food lineup.
Without a doubt my favorite coffee shop in the Fox Cities.. I had been looking for my spot and after trying about 10 of the other local shops, Acoca takes the cup !Their Dirty Chais are soooo phenomenal.
The coffee is amazing and the people are so nice! Definitely stop by and grab a cappuccino or a cup of coffee.
I got a chai tea latte this morning and it was fantastic! Really neat place, I cant wait until the renovations are complete I think I will be spending some time there.
Wonderful as always, (weve been a fan for a few decades) and with an impressive new vibe and added menu after they reopened, they are better than ever.
Even though theyre remodeling its still the best coffee in town
A very cozy area with a plentiful selection of drinks. Service was good as staff treated me warmly. The environment has very calming ambience that is well suited for meeting friends.
Great service and great coffee. Been several times and I love going back. Not many food choices but snacks to go with the coffee have a pretty good selection. Great ice cream, too!
First time here and LOVED it!! Such a cute coffee shop. Very friendly and professional staff. My vanilla latte was amazing! I will definitely be back!
Excellent atmosphere if youre looking for a local coffee shop with personality. The menu is extensive, and if you want to have the most flavorful coffee experience you can get without grinding your own at home then this is the place yo go. Pour over makes for a deeper, more complex flavor, and there are many different varieties to choose from. If youre not sure what to get then ask the staff! Will definitely be returning to find a favorite.
The best coffee around, hands down. They know how to roast which is leagues above that burnt bean smell at copper rock or Lous Brew 20 min wait for a plain iced coffee. Good coffee is all over Seattle but it took a while to find a place here. The staff is incredibly friendly, and Payton is always a pleasure to see. Very down the Earth customers to chat with too, so dont be surprised if you get caught up in a 20 minute conversation.
Excellent coffee! I dont drink a lot of coffee so I get the deer in the headlights look when I see a menu. The staff (Nate, I believe) was so funny and helpful to me. Great way to start my day!
What a great place! We were at the convention, and walked just a bit to find this gem - The pour-on coffee was AWESOME and we also enjoyed the quinoa salad, quiche, and blue berry muffin. A must try if you are in the area
Wonderful little shop. Nice way to pass the time when you need a break while drinking coffee.
Being from out of town I was looking for a place to get some real coffee, and a taste of the local atmosphere. This place did not disappoint. The staff working was super pumped for the small group I was with to be there, and were great about knowing the details of their menu items. The cold brew is made in house, and is the BEST cold brew I have had ever. I wish I lived closer so that I could enjoy it more. The staff is helpful and friendly. Prices are reasonable, and well worth the product. No disappointment here.
Cozy place. Rarely a time of day that a crowd would disturb the ambience. My favorite downtown spot for regular coffee. They do every cup via pour over method. Always fresh!
Top notch spot for coffee, tea, and some delicious baked goods. They also serve Cedar Crest Ice Cream, which is just fantastic. They brew coffee by the cup, so youre always guaranteed fresh and delicious coffee. Also, try the nitro cold brew. Awesome.
Dont waste your time at Starbucks! Support the small business! The coffee is way better anyways.
Great local coffee shop. I travel a lot and always look for hidden gems. The coffee is freshly brewed and granola is house made. I had the Costa Rican coffee and it was delicious. Friendly staff . Half price refills on the coffee. All around a great place.
If you like ice cream espresso drinks, look no further! Ive tried them all and the fine professionals here make the best one. I havent tried anything else, but everyone Ive brought there has enjoyed what they ordered.
It is a sweet little coffee shop with a great selection of drinks from coffee and teas. They have excellent people who work here with great attitudes and service! I definitely would recommend this place to everyone!
The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about their coffee. The quality is top notch.
The best coffee shop in the area. The folks take the time and explain things to you which makes trying new thing fun and exciting.
Great coffee here. If youre a Starbucks Frappuccino 2400 calorie sugar bomb fat food coffee person, this probably isnt for you, but if you like a good coffee fresh roasted in a quaint little almost stereotype of a good corner coffee place, youve found it. Huge fan of the nitro cold press they have here
Friendly staff well priced awesome atmosphere. More mellow and homey than other coffee downtown.Definitely check it out!
Cozy, little local coffee shop serving hot drinks and fresh bakery. Selection is limited, but what they do offer is made well and served quickly. Baristas are friendly and knowledgeable.
This one of my favorite coffee spots. Consistently great flavors.
Great coffee and staff! Inside seating is cozy and comfortable for reading, studying, playing games or having a chat. Outside street seating is fantastic on the warmer days.
This place is pretty rad! Always a pleasure being here, coffee is great too. Keep it up guys!
This place has excellent coffee, and a wide variety of whole beans roasted frequently. Its the best place Ive found for coffee in town. Food items are limited to snacks and breakfast-type things. They have a wide variety of local ice creams. As a cafe, it has a comfortable, unpretentious, college-campus atmosphere, and tends to be fairly quiet (there is music but it isnt blaring.) Friendly staff and many of the customers seem to be regulars. Though not exactly a family place, children seem to be welcome.
Great food, atmosphere, and service -- all you can ask for in a coffee shop. Much more authentic than some of the other cafes downtown
Stopped in and ordered an Americano (my go-to order at any coffee shop). It was quite weak. Almost as if they filled the cup half way with regular coffee and the other half with hot water. I want desperately to support small local businesses and I try to whenever I can. I’ll likely give it another go, but I will not be in a hurry to do so.
ACOCA Coffee provides great coffees served by good people in a comfortable setting. Check it out.
Good coffee, but definitely a sit-down place. Not somewhere to go for a quick coffee but very nice atmosphere.
Best coffee in the area, its no contest whatever. Small collection of excellent ice cream and reliably-good munchies round it all out. Easily my favorite coffee shop for quite a distance.
Best roasted in town. Know their brew
Great place to handout! Starbucks are too much for me. Keep it local, keep it real. Love the selections. Love the service. LUVV the sweet.
Best iced coffee in town. Needs some patience as its a fresh pour-over everytime, but worth it
Small cute coffee shop! Had a mocha cappuccino that was delicious, looking forward to next time?!
I got an affogato, an everything bagel, and cilantro lime hummus. It was sooo good 😤🙌The staff is very hip, fast, and friendly.
Excellent coffee and many choices. Very fresh beans, being that they grind them, them self for every cup. Keep up the great job. Thanks.
Lots of coffee choices from around the world and they roast in house. will definitely be back
Favorite coffee place hands down! Best dirty chais!
Great cafe with one of the best selections of beans in the valley. Beans are based on origin and are roasted in house. Many organic and fair trade organic options. Great handcrafted flavors give the coffees a great personality to match the cafe and Batistas.
I get coffee here every other Sunday when I have a meeting downtown and I have been going here for almost 12 years (before the name change) good coffee. Much better than Starbucks or other high named coffee joints.
Ordered a caramel cappuccino double, half the cup was foam and all i could taste was straight espresso. Counter girl seemed like she had a bad and just threw it together. Definitely not going back.
Unique vibe, with a laid back and casual atmosphere. The background music is on point. Service and drinks are great as well.
Awesome little place to get your fix on a different variety of coffees.Plus hot chocolate too.
We finally returned after Acoca was closed for renovations. Boy were we surprised. They have so much space inside now with aesthetically pleasing lighting and furniture. They have an amazing food/drink menu for anyone. Highly recommend.
This was everything I could hope for in a local coffee shop. Small and cozy, with locally made foods and art available for purchase. Books, board-games, and even WiFi are available for when you want to do more than talk. This place brought back the idea of old school coffee shops, minus the respectful, unbiased staff. Fake smiles and sideways glances seem to be common place in a lot of the coffee shops today, and I dont get it. Then you take my drink, and set it under the noses of some other customers with a call to us I would have completely missed if I hadnt been watching the whole time..I got the impression you didnt want us there.
Great example of a Pac NW coffee house, right down to the baristas. Coffee was good, I ordered an americano which was fresh and tasty. Loses a star for the styrofoam cup.
The more I become socially conscious and aware about how I should be spending my money the more I find myself spending more of my money with businesses such as Accoca that reflect my views and values more closely than what Starbucks and other international corporations do. Just think how different our world can be if huge international corporations had the same values that the owners of Accoca and other businesses like them had. Not to mention that they make a great cup of coffee.
Nice little alternate coffee house. The coffee was really nice and the roaster sitting in the dining area provided a great smell to the place. Very friendly staff.
The owner let me try some coffee for free and its 5 hours later and I still cant believe how good it was. 10/10
Delicious, high quality coffee. They roast their beans on-site! Everyone is super friendly. Appletons best coffee shop!!
This was our first visit and we found it to be a pretty nice place. The product was good, the staff was courteous and helpful.
Favorite coffee shop in Appleton. Best coffee! They roast onsite, offer a great variety of light, medium and dark roasted pour over coffee from all over the world. They also sell their coffee in bulk for you home brewers. Now they even have cold brew on nitro! Cozy atmosphere and light food (bagels, bars, desserts, yogurt) offerings top off this great Appleton coffee shop right downtown. Easy street parking right around the corner.
Funky local coffee spot. Not a lot of seating, but its cozy and casual.
Cozy coffee shop with snacks and drinks.
Wonderful. Very nice staff. Excellent gluten free dessert and great drinks. Definitely recommend it.
Friendly homey feeling coffee shop with the best coffee in the area.
Needed a place to wait. They have books and games to help pass the time as well as delicious coffees and ice cream!
The coffee was delicious and the staff very friendly.
Great coffee! Shared the employees birthday cake
Hands down my most favorite coffee shop!
I think that the coffee didn’t taste as fresh as I would have liked. Really wish there was some sort of indicator for recent roasted-ness. The atmosphere is really nice though, and I think the selection is very diverse in both tea and coffee origins (though the coffee diversity may have lead to the problems in freshness). Really happy to see pourovers being done, even if I prefer v60 and Chemex over kalita.
Acoca has amazing coffee! I love that they are open later than other coffee shops in the area too.
First coffee place I found that serves Costa Rican coffee, which is objectively the best coffee. Also they have fantastic local art, and they have shelves of board games.
Real European style coffee. Excellent.
