I may be overly critical here. I think everything, since the Silverfield Cheese Factory in Freemont closed years ago, absolutely pales in comparison. But I just tried this companys product for the first time. They were pretty good. Very squeaky at room temperature. Decent texture. Flavor is ok. They are a little too salty for my taste.
Without a doubt the worst cheese curds I have ever had! They are dry, salty and crumbly. I would hate to think of a tourist coming to Wisconsin to try our famous Wisconsin cheese curds and have them get a package of these…so very sad.

Bought their summer sausage snack sticks from Sam’s Club and they taste like sawdust. Dry as all get out and not good at all.
Bought this brand of Jalapeño Mozzarella Whips from the local grocer. The cheese taste its self is incredible! A bit salty, but smooth and creamy and the perfect consistency. There just is no real Jalapeño flavor. Or even hint. I get it, its cheese. But up the flavor and Id up my stars. But overall a good local product to support.
Its such a shame that Woodmans displays these fresh cheese curds in a refrigerated area. maybe someone could explain to their store manager that theyre supposed to be at room temperature.
HOLD THE SALT!!!!! These are too saltly! Dupont curds have these beat hands down!
