I bought a 12” mattress that only got to 10” after following the directions and waiting 48 hours. When I called twice to ask for either the mattress I paid for or a refund for the difference in price of the 2 different size mattresses I was treated like this was somehow my fault. I was told to bring it back if I wanted what I paid for. I did not have access to a truck to do that so I asked if it could be swapped. Then I was charged to make the swap. The second mattress delivered only got to 11”. I’m shocked at how they spoke to me and that I did not get what I paid for. The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.

Prices change daily and with each salesman. You have no idea what you are buying or what price you will pay.. No prices on the furniture or very few. Salesman opens his secret book, inputs several numbers on a calculator and gives you a verbal quote. He is factoring his commission on top of a list price. What kind of place is this? A terrible place for customers. Website gives NO prices. I feel more comfortable at a used car lot.

Josh Costa is very rude and nasty and has no customer service skills whatsoever. Here is a chat of him insulting my friend after she caught him in a lie. Please avoid this place. I DO NOT recommend this place. Also, they do not have most of the products advertised in stock and will take 8-12weeks to deliver to you if they ever do.

Found ABA Furnishings just through a Google search and Im happy that I did. Not only were they resourceful in getting a kitchen table that was virtually sold out everywhere else, but also they offered it at a fraction of the price. Josh of ABA was helpful, communicative, and friendly throughout the process. Would return.

My daughter ordered a sofa from this company back in October of 2020 and paid full price. She was preparing for what is anticipated to be a long recovery from a serious illness....but it is now March and they are saying it will take another 8 weeks!! (Maybe). They refuse to return the money in full. Is this the way to get new business and keep your current customers? I can tell you and everyone else I come in contact with--DO NOT SHOP at Annapolis Bay Area Furnishings. I would choose No Stars c for this organization.--but you have to have the one to post.

Decent prices, horrible customer service . We noticed a chip in one of our 3 sets of furniture after there installer left . It was said to be on backorder and would be covered under the warranty we paid extra for . This process started in OCT. of 2019 .

Guys are so helpful! Walked in looking for a king bed frame for my guest bedroom and walked out 15 mins later with a beautiful bed frame for a quarter the price of some of the furniture stores I went to earlier that day. Highly highly recommend going and checking it out!

So I ordered multiple items from the store which I received but I am missing a sectional which has been about 2 1/2 months and still not delivered. On 1 of the deliveries the delivery drivers would not take the boxes which was alot until I offered an extra $20. I have bought furniture from other places and they always take the boxes that the furniture is in. If I would have known it would take over 2 1/2 months and who knows how much longer I would have never purchased furniture from this company. I spent over $5,000 and I am in the customer service business I expect a little better.Overall my sales person is a nice guy and things are at the mercy of the delivery but I told him I dont want to wait much longer than a month from my order and Im still waiting. If you buy furniture here make sure you read the fine print.

I will just add to the multitude of reviewers that this place has poor customer service (to say the least). Like many others, we were promised a time line for the delivery of our furniture that was not realistic given what is going on - my presumption now is that they wanted to close the sale today, and not worry about future sales or purchasers posting honest reviews. Ultimately, I complained to the Better Business Bureau (the owners answer was laced with profanity including directing his ire to the BBB) and then shortly thereafter our furniture was delivered. A day or so later, the owner sent me a nasty message on Facebook and then blocked me. If you are considering purchasing from them, consider the totality of the negative reviews, and the whining responses of the owner summed up He/She is lying, we never promised that and draw your own conclusions. Multiple people having the same experience OR the owner is the victim of a vast conspiracy theory of purchasers. Buyer beware.

My husband and I came in here last Saturday to check out furniture we wanted to see if they had it. We were greeted and helped as soon as we walked in the door and shown the showroom. We got all the prices we needed for our furniture we asked about. This Saturday I went back and purchased a piece of furniture that we had looked at. Our salesmen was Anthony and he is great! Unprofessional lying employees. Repeated false promises on dates for delivery of furniture. I completely understand COVID has the world upside down, but i was told 4-6 weeks. Then i was told I’m #17 in waiting for my furniture. Then I’m told I’m somewhere in the top 50 of receiving my furniture. “It’ll be here on the 17th. “Check on the 16th.“It’ll be here on the 3rd.”Ask for a refund and they try to take 20% restocking fee. Never dealt with such a poorly ran company in my life.

Bought both a queen sized bed and a new work desk, about a year apart. Quality was excellent and the guys even went out of their way to get the bed to me early since I had just moved here which was above and beyond expected. Really loved their service and the desk is still used today. They even marked down a drawer some $30 just because.I also wanted to add, the boys in the shop know their stuff and dont sugar coat things. I appreciated this

I went to Atlantic Bedding and Furniture yesterday for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. They had the living room set that i could find nowhere else at a price hundreds less than I expected. I parlayed that savings into a new Queen bed and mattress. Dylan really wanted me to leave happy and i did. Good selection, great price, good guys.

My husband and I bought a sleeper sectional In July of 2019. We had never used the bed inside the couch until January 2020. When we pulled the bed out we noticed that it was not working properly, so we called to see what we needed to do to fix/replace it.Iv had to call our sale guy multiple times to see what the update is. Yesterday I called and left a voicemail. With no return call by 3:00 today I decided I’m going to call again. A gentleman named josh answered the phone, he told me that mike (my sales guy was off today) “ is there something I can help you with? I explained to him my issue and he told me that they would have a guy come out to fix the broken part(ok fine) I asked him about timing becase I have family coming in town and need to use the bed. (I understand that there is a process) so when I asked him to let mike know that he needs to call me when he comes I tomorrow he then told me that “I’m not his dad and mike deals with a lot of people and when calls come in about broken things that sometimes that’s not the first thing that gets handled that’s the furniture business”I’m sorry but that is not good customer service!You don’t talk to paying customer like that!I will not be buying from again.

I recently bought a bedroom set. This was a great experience thanks to Dylan. The dresser was damaged unfortunately. Dylan called me right away and ordered a new dresser. 2 days later he delivered the new dresser after his work on his own time. This is great customer service. It started out as a fantastic experience with Nick helping us at the Annapolis store. we were very impressed with the selection and Nick was very helpful and informative and we were very excited to have found a place to buy furniture for now and in the future for the three homes that we frequent. they even have a friendly and shy dog named Duke that really added to the stores charm and we spent 20 minutes talking about the Capitals game the employees will be attending soon. We were so impressed that we went back to buy another bedroom set for a different member of the household! we met Josh the owner and a number of other employees who were helpful.While purchasing the second bedroom set Josh got in an argument with a group of people who had come in to look at furniture after he was inappropriately rude with a two year old child that was acting out in the store. The childs mother became understandably upset. We didnt feel what Josh had done was inappropriate enough for us not to do business with him but it should have been cause for concern because it foreshadowed what was going to happen with our experience later.The day that we received our furniture the delivery men were exceptional and did a great job but there was a misunderstanding over the amount of payment. when we called Josh he was wildly rude and inappropriate. He belittled a number of members of our family when they called and continued to act unprofessionally even after a number was decided upon.we told him we were very disappointed because our experience had been so great up until that point and informed him we had planned on purchasing many more pieces of furniture for years for the other three homes and he was indifferent and rude before telling us he didnt remember who we were when we met him in purchasing thousands of dollars in furniture.needless to say although the prices were good the customer service, treatment and organization of this group is subpar and it will be worth spending money to have all of those things that come standard elsewhere.

The owner of this establishment has the poorest customer service ever. I will be reporting to the Better Business Bureau about this company and owner. I will NEVER buy anything from this place again. Tried to set up a time for delivery and just hung up I’m my face with no chance of explanation. Just dropped my items off with no one here. Glad the weather is very good outside today.

The customer service was a joke, A family member bought furniture here and I was helping him move and just to see the way that he treated them I can tell you that I would never in 1 million years buy something from these people. Josh has the worse customer service ever, I literally bought all the furniture for my house there and was missing only the chairs. I called to checked on that and not only he argued with me but said that he didnt need my business or from the people I refered to them. Mike the sales guy was awesome and should go find a job somewhere else before he get associate with the Awful customer service that ABA offers.

This store is amazing. Though it doesnt look like much from the outside, it has fantastic service and a great selection. We bought both our first couch from them and our latest set. The first couch is still in great shape after a couple of years, but with an expanding family we needed a new one. After trying Marlo, and several other furniture stores to find what we liked, and what was comfortable we found our new set from Atlantic Bedding and Furniture. This place was a great find. From walking in, we were helped by Mike who answered our many questions and was very patient while we sat on every sofa five times and deliberated for ages. He was not pushy at all which we really appreciated. I walked into Bay Area Furniture and upon arrival I was ignored by the owner, Josh. After walking up to him and asking for help he preceded to talk down to me as if I should have known the answer to my own questions. I feel like I was discriminated because of my race. I will find another furniture store to shop at where they value all their customers.

I love no frills businesses that pass their low over head on as savings to their customers. While at first I wondered if my girlfriend and I were going to endure a used car sales type experience, it was quickly apparent that was not the case. We were given the info we needed to start looking for what we wanted, given the time and space to explore on our own, and then a knowledgeable representative helped us quickly narrow our options and make a decision. Overall, very painless...and Im not an enthusiastic furniture shopper! Go give em a look!

I ordered a new bedroom set 10 weeks ago! At time of the purchase they assured me in would take 2-4 weeks. Not true! Weeks later I have still not received my furniture. We found out about this place on Facebook. Thought wed check it out. We went in looking for a new bedroom set and found exactly what we were looking for. There was a good selection in every price range. Dylan was very patient while we made our selection and truly gave us the best deal possible. He was there to answer our questions, but didnt hover. It hurts me to write this review, especially because my sales guy Emile was the nicest. Unfortunately for him his boss and owner of this establishment has not seemed to figure out how to run a profitable business. Joshs words were “f*** man I don’t have a lot of money” when it came to a table that we purchased and stained the wood after product was suppose to be a kitchen table. Never have I owned a table that stains if you get something on it. We weren’t even asking for a full refund. Just looking for some help as we moved towards a different product. Josh and the rest of your team at ABA good luck, but unfortunately luck may not be enough to help your failing business. I will not be back and will urge others to steer clear. My husband was in the area today and walked into this store looking for dressers. He realized once he was inside that they didn’t carry the style we wanted, so he thanked the salesman and left. The guy followed him out of the door, almost to his car yelling and cussing at him the whole time because my husband said he didn’t want to go in the back and look. What a lunatic!! I would have called the cops but apparently this store thinks it’s okay to employ lunatics. Don’t waste your time.UPDATE: No he did not mishear! Continue to bully customers. Youll cross a line soon enough. There is a reason I wrote this on a public forum. Calling people names is not okay. The subpar quality of your furniture shows right away, you dont need to look around to see it.

We recently purchased a king size, black, sleigh bed from here. The bed was part of their Facebook special and we received it for $250 which is a steal. It is solid wood and well made. They also offered us a one year warranty for the bed. The men who worked there were nice, informative and helpful. We will be making more of our purchases here.

I phoned yesterday to inquire about iron head boards. Because it is an expensive item that I prefer to see in person prior to purchasing, I asked if there were any in the showroom for me to look at. This place was great! Ill admit I was a little wary of it at first, because it is out of a warehouse, however the money these guys are saving on overhead is transferred right to you. We bought a bunk-bed with two new mattresses for under $500 total!The guys were a great help, extremely easy to work with and didnt hassle us at all.The only thing that might be a concern is if you need it right now, and they dont have it in stock. We didnt need the beds anytime soon, so we received them a little over a month after we went here, but as I said, we were not in any rush.We plan on going back to buy a master bedroom suite, and tell everyone we can about the place. I was referred to Atlantic Bedding and Furniture by a friend, and my wife and I had a great experience. We when walked in we were immediately greeted by the sales representative Dylan, he explain the layout and directed us towards. I usually do not enjoy furniture shopping with annoying sales representatives following me around and prices out of this world, this was not the case here. My wife and I were able to browse at our own pace, after about 20-30 mins Dylan came over and answered any questions we had and gave us an unbeatable quote on a queen size sleigh bed, matching dresser, and matching nightstand (all of which we were able to take home the same day). He also gave us time to look through the catalogs of furniture that they could order for us (my wife wanted decorative shelves). They ordered the shelves she picked out and gave us a call when they arrived. Overall the sales staff was polite, courteous, easily approachable, and their prices are great. We will definitely look to Atlantic Bedding and Furniture in the future.

My son moved out recently and we needed to replace the furniture in the now empty room. I did a google search for furniture and bedding stores in Annapolis and found their website and location immediately. We headed over to their warehouse and Mike Caropreso was happy to help us out. They warehouse itself does not have a huge selection but there was enough there that we were able to pick out a Bed, dresser and end tables at a very reasonable price. Mike was very helpful in looking up pricing and dimensions for several of the beds we looked at and within 1/2 hour we had selected our items, paid and were out the door. The bed was in stock and the other items are on order. Very nice and pleasant experience and the prices are very reasonable.

Im blown away at the positive reviews for this place. Ive bought furniture from ABF in Baltimore and had a great experience, and am in shock at how rudely I was treated at the Annapolis location. I ordered an item online and after receiving a phone call from Josh to inform me that my order did not include something that the photo displayed as being included, I told him Id like to refund my order (he mentioned I was not the first to have made the same mistake.) Immediately after, he hung up on me. Trying to give him the benefit of the doubt, I called him back thinking that the call had been disconnected, but he confirmed that it had not and that he ended the conversation, acting out of anger. Ill be contacting the BBB as no customer deserves to be treated so poorly. I highly recommend you patronize another store or company who actually has value for their customers.

First time at Atlantic bedding and I must say it was an enjoyable experience. As soon as I walked thru the door I was greeted by Dylan and his team. They made me feel welcomed and walked me thru there selections of furniture until I found what I was looking for, and the prices are really unbeatable. I would definitely come again.

I purchased a “new” sofa 2 weeks ago. Not only did it come late, but the one they sent me had rips all over the back! When I called to complain they assured me that they would “investigate further” and “get back to me”. It’s been a week and a half, neither have happened.. 1 star is generous.
