Stopped in with an appointment for a tire repair. Less than $40 and 40 minutes later I was out the door. Ill definitely use this business for tire needs again.
Very fast service. Chris was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this tire service.
Great place ... Very clean... Fast service and friendly staff, Chris was very nice and happy to take care of everything on my list. I was in and out quickly with an oil change & tire rotation.
I have had a great experience with Admiral, specially working with Cris, the manager. He is very honest and stands behind the work that they do. He made sure that I was taken care of, even though I needed to come back due to a tire sensor not working. In every repair he explained everything and I thought the pricing was fair. I also have a BMW which can be hard or expensive to service and Chris was very knowledgeable about my specific car as he also has BMWs.
Needed a tire plugged and their service and attentiveness was top notch. They did in 30 minutes what other places would take 3 hours to fit you in. Efficient and Affordable will definitely use them in future for tire repair and installation.
Great service. All around Friendy and professional.
They was great. The guy there checked my tires and seconds. I would go back for service
Theyre customer friendly with very reasonable prices. They are my go to mechanic.
Fast and friendly service. Had a tire patched and waited in their waiting area with my toddler. We were in and out in less than 30min. Will definitely go back for tires and other future service needs.
I highly recommend Admiral tire and auto of Annapolis. I appreciate the professional, caring, and exceptional service received, especially at a desperate time of need when my dashboard alerted me of a tire issue. I intend to use their services when Im back visiting from Delaware eastern shore. Thanks again to those who helped me get back on the road safely.
Thrilled to discover this place while driving by. Highly recommend for their quick and friendly service. I had a minor issue which they handled right away. Granted it was minor, but minor issues at other places have required a long wait. Definitely going back (when needed)!
The mechanics attempted to tack on an extra 870$ worth of services and recommended replacing parts which don’t normally take wear and tear. I went to Jiffy Lube and had the necessary repairs done for 500$ less than what the people at Admiral/ Annapolis Tire and Auto were attempting to charge. I don’t consider them trustworthy and will probably not return.
I called last minute Saturday afternoon to get a tire with a screw in it repaired. They said they could do it that day. When I brought my car in, the Service Manager ( dont remember his name) was super nice, explained everything that may or may not be a problem and fixable .I picked it up close to closing and he said that they had found a second screw in the tire and explained in detail all they had done to fix the tire and to keep an eye on it.Overall super nice, attentive, quick service.I would go back and recommend them to anyone.
The customer service was great. Very helpful and did Not let me purchase tires that werent right for my needs but directed me to a tire that works for my me and was far cheaper. Honesty and customer service like that are hard to come by. Will definitely be using them again.
It was expensive but the service was great and they treated me like I knew what they were talking about. The car runs great and they followed up with a call. I dont know enough about cars to know if everything was necessary, but I feel good about the service.
I came in early in the morning on my off day to get some brand new tires. After speaking to the lady at the front desk yesterday and also today. She told me a few prices of the tires on the phone. When I walked in to get service down. She patronize me the whole time .She only gave me one tire price that was( $350 per tire) .I was so upset because I needed to purchase some tires. As if to say it is to expensive for me to buy tires from their.
I needed new tires installed on my SUV and, after shopping around, chose Admiral Tire & Auto on Forest Drive. I wanted a specific Michelin that was not in stock; David (the new store manager) went above and beyond to get them ordered for me--they arrived the next business day. The cost of the tires with install was also slightly less than other places in Annapolis (including Sams Club). The appointment was quick, tires installed with no issue, and employees were all courteous. My husbands car will need new tires before winter and we wont hesitate to choose Admiral again.UPDATE: We recently bought four new tires for my husbands car--but we did not choose Admiral again. Our 5 star review is now a 3 star review. It appears David (the previous store manager) is no longer there and the two people my husband talked to were less than helpful. The tires he wanted werent carried at this store and they couldnt be bothered to assist in ordering them. Also, they quoted us an install charge $40 higher than what we would have paid 3 months ago to install tires we brought in ourselves. If you catch them on the right day, you could have a good experience. No consistency means we probably wont return.
My car sat at their site from 6:30 am until 10 am when I received a call from Jennifer who quoted me prices for two new tires. My reply was I would call her back in 10-15 minutes. When i called Jennifer back she had left for errands and Chris the owner answered. When I confirmed the manufacturer of the tire before confirming the install, he stated there are no notes about the manufacture to match the other tires, so lets wait on Jennifers return. I called back at 11:30 and Jennifer said the price for the tires had increased 80.00 per tire because they needed to get them from another tire supplier, if I wanted my car back by Tuesday ( 4 days later). instead of the price being 320.00 it was now changing to 450.89. Incredibly unprofessional and down right dishonest! Buyers beware!
Needed a tire plugged and their service and attentiveness was top notch. They did in 30 minutes what other places would take 3 hours to fit you in. Efficient and Affordable will definitely use them in future for tire repair and installation.
They were able to fix my flat tire in 10 minutes great work
I had a flat tire and needed a tire replacement. The folks at Annapolis Tire and Auto were fabulous- knowledgeable, professional, and quick. Even with having to order a new tire I had my car back within 2 days- good as new! Thanks for a making a flat tire not such a painful experience after all!
Did great work very promptly
This place is great.. The manager Paul really took care of me.. I brought in some rims/tires that I wanted balanced and they did them in less then 2 hours.. They have all of my tire business from now on..
These guys were so awesome! I had a tire issue on the middle of 97 and they got me in right away and fixed an issue that another tire shop had caused! Couldn’t recommend more!
Amazing. This kid named Alex G. that works there, is awesome and does great work and gives excellent customer service. I highly recommend this team for you auto repair needs.
Went in to have a tire plugged. After looking at the tire I was told it couldn’t be repaired. After declining an overpriced tire I was charged a 17 dollar fee. I asked what the fee was for and was berated by the manager. He seemed to be looking for a confrontation which seemed crazy to me and actually compared looking at my tire to a doctor looking at an sick person. Worst customer service ever!
Start to finish a pleasant experience. Knowledgeable professional friendly. Helpful. Thanks guys
The older man in the office shouldn’t be in customer service. He is the rudest man alive. Now the young man working in the garage is the greatest and should get the old mans job! He is always polite and very helpful. I have a small leak in my tire and have had to stop to get air several times. The old guy barely acknowledged me and told me to go wait by the garage door. The young man pulled into the parking lot just arriving for his day and immediately offered help. Old guy never stuck his head out in the cold. Kudos to the younger generation who seem to always get a bad rap.
Whatever you need make sure you ask for Andy. He did a great job ensuring my car was safe! He is honest and very reliable! I want to personally thank him for the awesome job they have done on my vehicle.
Excellent customer service. Called for an appointment and was able to get my car serviced the same day. The price of the service was very fair.
Really nice workers there. I didnt get my tires from there. Just got air on my tires.
They could not help me and were honest enough to recommend me to a local competitor with my tire in stock
There ok ive gotten torrs an oil change .hard workers good guys
I have done business at this store for some time. Dave was a great guy to work with.Reggie did my last 3 service one for Sandra Jurkiewicz and the work is Great.
A year or two back, part of my undercarriage began dragging on the ground. They were able to correct the issue within an hour or two and the repair cost very little. Later they were also able to repair part of my steering column quite quickly as well.
Excellent customer service that you dont see at any of the big chain stores.
These folks have been more than fair and very professional, on every visit. The most recent visit was for repair on a light truck tire. The tire repair went well but the low tire pressure sensor showed a fault after the tire was replaced. They assumed that the fault was theirs and made it right. That was a first rate customer service experiencet and we will be back in the future for our tires and issue repair.
Staff is amazing!! I’d give 6 stars if I could. The manager Chris was honest, patient, knowledgeable and efficient. He not only got me in last minute, but dealt with my being late twice, twice, on a busy Saturday when he was overwhelmed and short staffed. Constantly answering the phone that was ringing non-stop, on top of everything else which would have been the breaking point for me, but you’d never tell as his attitude didn’t change and his customer first mentality was refreshing. On top of all that, where I feel like most places would have tried to take me for everything they could, they fixed my issue in like a half hour and only charged me for the work they needed to do, not what I was originally quoted which saved me about half the price I expected to pay. I would 1000% recommend the shop for any of your car needs.
Went there to get a flat tire fixed. Guy told me to go somewhere else they had no tires. Didnt even check. Just said he had no tires and to go somewhere else. I did and they quickly fixed the flat. Always had good service in the past. Very dissatisfied and very disappointed.
These guys were great! They helped me to find the best deal on tires and I really appreciated their prompt and professional customer service.
Helpful, friendly, knowledge, and locally owned. Highly recommended!
Professional and fast. Truck runs like new. 😁
During my most recent visit the customer service was good however the issue with my car still persists
I came in with car battery issues, and within 30 minutes we determined I needed a new battery and they had it installed and sent me in my way. Very happy all around.n
The gentleman there went out of there way to assist me great customer service I would recommend anyone to use this business!!!
My warranty claim with Michelin was handled in a professional and expeditious manner. All staff were helpful and polite and all of their dealings.
Had a nail in tire. Staff was more than helpful, friendly, and informative. I will go back
Rude and Untrustworthy, they value their money more than their clients.I took my car there to get new tires. It was a bit of an emergency. I dropped off at 12:30. They told me theyd have it done in 45minutes to an hour. I show back up in 1.5 hours (2pm), and they are just starting the work. THey tell me about 20 minutes. They finally finished at nearly 3pm (2:50 to be exact). When I asked why the delay, the guy walked away from me saying theyve been busy since 9am. Since he walked away, I did not have time to ask why, if they knew they were busy, they continued to tell people the standard 45 min - 1 hour. I can only guess they care more about taking your money than winning your loyalty.Skip them.mickey
This store has been both very helpful and very competitively priced. I always use them for my tire needs.
Saved me money on dealer recommended repairs which were not necessary
I had a screw in my tire and these guys took care of me. They did a great job and were super fast!
Staff was controlled courteous, and efficient. I was taken at my appointment time and was out promptly.
Great spot to come in for an oil change. Usually quick, efficient, and responsive
Got pricing on specific tires. I made an appointment over a week in advance and asked they order tires so they would be there. I took a day off work and dropped the car off when they first opened. They called me 2 1/2 hours later and told me they couldnt find the tires and tried to up sell me to different set. Very disappointed. I will not be using them again.
Stay away. I took my car there to get a state inspection to sell. I had dealt with them previously and felt uneasy about dealing with them again but my favorite mechanic was unavailable. But I figured a state inspection is pretty idiot proof. Was I wrong. They wanted to charge me $300 for repairs in order to get a clean bill of health to sell the car. Funny thing was one of the repairs had already been done a month before. I challenged them and they dropped the price to $210 but I only had a week to take the deal. I said no thanks and took my car to Daves Auto Service in Annapolis. He is fabulous and said: no problems, car is good to go. To make matters worse, when I picked up the car from Admiral Tire/Annapolis Tire and Auto on Forest Drive (same place), I noticed the car was BONE DRY on gas. I remember thinking it has a third of a tank when I dropped it off. I was selling the car and had taken a photo of the odometer (and the gas gauge accidentally) before I dropped it off. The state inspection was the last thing to do. Sure enough, these clowns had driven the car 80 miles and used all my gas.STAY AWAY from these guys. I WOULD NEVER GO BACK TO THEM.
Had car in for 4 new tires. While in their shop, they scratched and dented passenger door. Pointed this out before leaving their shop parking lot. They took pictures and were supposed to get back to me with a resolution. After over a week and repeated phone calls, they are now saying they wont take responsibility for the damage. Do not trust them!
Good, honest assessment of work needed and good staff!
Great service with experience in all sorts of car problems. Very helpful and price can’t be beat.
If I could give zero stars I would. Made an appointment on a Tuesday night for the following Saturday and was told the tires would be ready at 9 a.m. Assured we would be in and out in an hour. Arrived and there was no record of my appointment. When I told the person at the counter I made an appointment and gave the name of the tires I requested he looked confused. He went to the back and talked to the person who scheduled the appointment, came back out, handed me my key back and said David would be out in a minute to talk to me. 10 minutes later I asked what the issue was so he went back to talk to David. Came back to the counter and said they never got the tires I wanted but they could fit me in a few hours later. AKA they never even ordered my tires or documented my appointment and David was too sheepish to come tell me himself. I walked out.
Stay away from this shop. I had a leak in a tire and they said it could not be fixed and then told me that I needed two new tires. I asked them if they could provide and install the exact same tire as was on the car, which was an all season tire, and in the same brand, and they said they could. When I came to pick up the car, I noticed that the tires did not look the same and they then for the first time told me that the tires that I had were discontinued. Then I asked whether the new tires they installed we at least all season tires and they assured me that they were. I looked the tires up on the internet and it was clear that the original tires had not been discontinued and it was also clear that the tires that they had installed were summer only tires which should not be used in cold temperatures and would not work at all in snow. They clearly knew that they were lying to me, and I insisted that they take their tires off and reinstall the original tires, even the one with the slow leak. Later, I went to another tire store and they repaired the leak, which they told me was an easy leak to fix. Clearly, Annapolis Tire & Auto lied to me multiple times in an effort to sell me tires that I did not need (for about $900) that did not match and would not work as all season tires. This place is scary.
Reasonable prices, great service, there when you need them
They fixed my issue, actually did a great job...too good. They insisted on replacing more than I wanted, and claimed they do not half-a$$ anything. Result: Repair cost about 1/3 too much. I argued, but the response became Ok, its $110 for the diagnostic, take your vehicle anywhere you like.I didnt need half the secondary parts that they replaced, especially at the markup on parts they charge. Overkill is fine, but just not what I asked for.Labor cost was fair (compared to mechanics elsewhere/everywhere).Disappointed overall. Due to proximity of engine trouble, I had to go here or be towed.
Always prompt and reasonably priced. Even had some minor things done with no charge for being a regular customer.
I would give zero stars if I could. I had a slow leak in my front left tire that caused my tire pressure sensor light to come on every 10-14 days. When I took it to Annapolis Tire and Auto for repair they told me it was the tire pressure sensor and charged me around $260. Two weeks later the tire pressure sensor light came on again. I took it back and they told me it was leaking around the seal of the TPS. This went on every 10-14 days for months and I took it back there 4 times - they never fixed it or found the problem. It was very frustrating as I did not have time to take it there every time the TPS light went on so I had to get air in my tire every 10-14 days until I finally got fed up with them not being able to find the problem.I doubt I needed a new TPS since it did not fix the problem. I finally went somewhere else. I will never go there again!
Fast courteous service never had any issues with their work
Very professional and friendly. Work was completed as promised on time.My only question is, $ 40.00 bucks to plug a tire ? That’s an hourly rate of 120.00 to 160.00 an hour. Hmmm. Guess I’m in the wrong business.
Perfect customer service the old fashion way.
I came in with a burned-out mail light and left 10 minutes later with one that works! Easy!
Since they asked for a review, here it is:I dropped my wife’s truck off before they opened. Put the keys in the envelope they provide. Wrote my information and checked all of boxes for the work I wanted done. I wanted the drivers side rear tire plugged as it had a nail in it, tire rotation/balance and a front end alignment. I was able to leave it for the day. Came back the next morning and all that was done was the tire was fixed. When I asked if anything of the other services had been done I got a “that’s all we were fixing was the tire”. I asked for the key envelope and before I could point to it the guy at the counter said “oh”. I didn’t have time to sit and wait for them to finish the job that should hav been done the day before and the man at the counter said they couldn’t do an alignment until noon. Instead they rotated and balanced my tires, right then for free as it was their mix up that it didn’t get done. Cool. I had enough time. I left their Annapolis location and didn’t even make it to Edgewater and the low tire pressure light comes on. I pulled into Wawa and the exact same tire that they “fixed” was flat again. Not only was the same tire flat, it was in the exact same drivers side rear position so they clearly did not rotate the tires. I could at least see there were new weights inside the rim, so they balanced but didn’t rotate.I called the store and spoke man who I dealt with when I left that morning. Explanned what I had found and my obvious displeasure since they couldn’t fix what I had asked for the first time and then half assed what they were able to do in the morning. The man asked me to bring it back and they would take care of everything. I didn’t have time for that since they already wasted part of my morning and I didn’t feel comfortable taking the truck back there when they couldn’t even rotate tires properly.I took it to my regular mechanic and they found that the belt inside the tire separated from the tire where the plug went in. No way to prove their plugging caused the complete failure of the tire but based on their performance it’s a pretty safe assumption. Now I’m spending $800 for 4 new tires, mounting, balancing and an alignment. I’ll never take my vehicles there again. Never expected a “tire shop” to screw up basic tire services so bad.
Good. Quick. Fair price. Friendly.L.Shubnell
No service technician they wasted my time
Awful place. Went in for a routine oil change. Once it was done, I started to drive away and my car would hardly move and sounded like it was going to fall apart. Went right back in and the guy didn’t correctly put my bolt back in my true- causing my entire tire to almost fall off the rim. Next day I’m driving from MD to PA and my engine light and oil light comes on (the day after I got it changed at Admiral Tire). I get to my destination and check my oil and it’s in fact leaking everywhere- took it to a new mechanic who had to fix it because they put an old, rusted plug on it that cracked and made a huge mess under my hood which could have caused the whole engine to be damaged. Awful place and it’s clear they do not know what they are doing and put my life at risk.
Super fast service, very polite, great people.
Took my car in for two new tires and when I showed up it was out on the road, against the store policy and had a six inch dent over the wheel. They refused to take any responsibility then agreed to call me about having it looked at. I never got a call, its been 5 weeks, my car still has a dent.
As always. Excellent service, helpful staff, high quality work.
I had a flat tire today and brought in my car because the shop was right around the corner. They found that the valve stem was loose and leaking air. They tightened it back up and put air back in the tire. They didnt even charge me! I even asked them to let me pay something and was refused! These guys get my future business because I dont feel that they are out to screw me. A+
Excellent service I was real pleased.
TL;DR Dont use this place, they dont stand behind their work and will charge YOU to see if THEY made a mistake. So I took my car in for a regular tire rotation and oil change. During the course they find several things that need work with a possible bill in excess of $1,000 and the necessary stuff alone was over $300 (fluids, battery connections, etc). Fine, get the necessary stuff done, pay and go.The next day I try to use the power windows on the passenger side and its not working. Due to my job, I have to wait a week before I get a chance to go back to ask them to take a look. Before Im even done describing the problem to the guy at the counter (I thought they might have tripped the fuse during the battery work) the manager denies it could POSSIBLY be them, it MUST be a separate issue and it will cost me a fee to even look at it (oh and has to be some other day). I patiently try again to just ask for them to check the fuses to see if they tripped something and again hes very defensive, says its a coincidence, not their fault and I need to make an appointment for later in the week. I leave in disgust. In the end I look up the problem online, figure out I just needed to reset the power windows because they had disconnected the battery during service (it WAS them) and was good-to-go. They could have helped me out in about 5 minutes, no charge no parts, and bought some goodwill but instead were defensive, combative and wanted to charge a diagnosis fee for a VERY simple problem.
Fast efficient and affordable
Fast, courteous and professional.
Avoid this place. Poor customer service and will charge you for their own mistakes!
Nice service!
Liars, and incompetent. I had tires replaced, mech broke sensor then lied, said there was no sensor. Store manager claimed they would fix but did not return call or do anything about it. I am getting it fixed at the dealer and dropping bill off at admiral
So on Friday I drop of my truck at GoodYear Tire for a break job ...I need the truck back for Monday ....is was scary the quota was $1500 I decided to do it myself looking it over it cost me $195 and 3 hour of my time and 90% of what they wanted to do was not needed ....STAY CLEAR OF GoodYear on Forest Dr
Professional, fast, great service!
Good customer service
Super helpful and efficient!!
Excellent in all respects
Did good work
I have been going here for 6 years, only once did if ever leave unhappy, and that was because the Counter Girl had called telling the Car was ready, and when I got there they had not finish.
Trustworthy
Everyone at Admiral is great! I don’t trust anyone else with my car other than them! They are extremely honest and knowledgeable! I moved about 45 from Annapolis and I still make the drive over there anytime my car needs some care!
