First time customer and very impressed! I came in looking for help to find good running shoes for my 12 yr old son who is running track for the first time. I didnt catch the gals name that helped us but she was very patient and knowledgeable. She watched him walk and then tried on a bunch of shoes until he found a pair he felt comfortable in. She explained how that particular pair would help his muscles and help his feet while running.We will definitely return. Thank you for being pleasant, knowledgeable, and providing a great shoe shopping experience.

Went in because the Brooks Ghost 12 (or 13?) was on sale but left with Hoka One One Arahi because the staff knew that my feet needs some arch support. Not regretting my purchase!!

Not sure if you need an appointment for this place but I walked in today and there was no one at the counter. A young girl came out from the back room 5 minutes later, she was on the phone, and motioned with her hand to wait. I waited for 20 minutes and she never came back from the back room…? Very odd customer service approach IMO

Went there to get my daughter running shoes but all they did was hand her boxes of different brand and inserts. No measurement of feet or looking at arches even from a distance. I watched my daughter struggle to get inserts into the shoes to work out while a possibly 20 year old stood back at a great distance. Not like the fitting had when I went to a different store for my running shoes. If I bother coming out to the shoe store it means I want to have good service and fit especially for running shoes. Not going back there even after pandemic.

Great experience! As someone who is new to running, he spent a lot of time with me to analyze my gait and foot type and helped find the perfect pair of running shoes.

Got a pair of shoes here that wore out unexpectedly fast (they were a new shoe by Hoka). The staff was amazing, heard my concerns and did some research. They got me out of the door into a new pair of shoes and I even got some money back. Can’t say enough good things about this store!

Friendly helpful and quick service

Neither my partner or I run, but we do a lot of walking and hiking and both needed shoes. We went into the store and were blown away by the expertise of the staff, we were helped by Chris. He went so far beyond just knowledge of the shoes. He listened to our concerns and watched us walk and then had us try on the shoes he thought would be the best fit for us and our needs. He spent a considerable amount of time helping us and made it seem like there was nothing more important at the moment.Bottom line is theyre not there to sell you something. They are there to help you find the best shoe for your feet!!!

I am a loyal customer at Running Fit because of the excellent customer service and attention to detail. Recently, I purchased a pair of shoes that I didnt love, and they happily walked me through the purchase of another pair. I waited a long time to return the shoes, but they were still incredibly helpful in exchanging them and making sure that I got what I wanted. I feel like they only want whats best for you rather than just focusing on making a sale. Everyone is incredibly knowledgable! I would also recommend attending some of their group runs on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Great service and help to find the right shoe. The staff is knowledgeable and is there to help but also doesnt rush you into a decision. They also have a treadmill there for analysis feel check.

Running fit is a great spot. The staff is always super friendly and most of them are runners too. They can give advice about races and gear from their own experiences. I definitely enjoy each visit.

I bought a pair of shoes from here that didnt even last 3 months with moderate use. I went in and asked the staff if there was anything that they could do--I didnt ask for a full refund, but maybe a discount on my next purchase. The staff themselves were nice and understanding, and they had to ask the manager to get back to me. Unfortunately, there was nothing they were willing to do. I spent $200 dollars on a pair of shoes that blew out in practically no time, after relatively light use. Knowing that this store does not stand behind their product makes me never want to shop here again. A running store isnt a store just selling a product you buy once. Shoes wear and get replaced, and its nice to have a history and relationship with a store who knows your feet. In a town with plenty of other competition, I see no reason to waste time and money here. Shopping local is nice, but youll honestly get better service at REI (or Ann Arbor Running).

I had two pair of shoes that had to be returned /exchanged at this location. I was sent to the other Running Fit store on Jackson Rd for an exchange because I was told that store had my size but they did not. So, I got a totally different new pair of shoes. I felt the difference immediately. Excellent fit now.

These guys are seriously the best! I used to have a lot of problems with shin splints and knee pain, but the folks at Running Fit helped me find the right shoe type and Ive been running pain free for 3 years now. All of my running shoes come from them.Most recently I was in the downtown location looking for a pair of trail running shoes. They had a pair of Salomon Speed Cross 4s marked at half off. When the cashier rang them up though, they came in full price. Long story short, the manager honored the tagged price gave me the discount anyways. Ive been running trails non stop with my new shoes and its awesome!Thanks again to the folks at running fit, you guys are the best!

Just ran in the best running shoes I have ever owned. The girl at the store spent an hour and made me feel very comfortable and valued, taking the time to get me the perfect shoe which was 100% on her recommendation. She really knew her stuff too, knowing exactly the updated version of the shoe that my husband was looking for from several years back. I am very happy with my experience and recommend this store highly. The price of the shoes is steep, but thats just what you get for a good running shoe. And paying a little more money to get a shoe that fits versus ordering one online is SO worth it. Thank you Running Fit!!!
