I broke my necklace last night and was absolutely devastated, however, the lady at Arcadian Antiques was the biggest help ever. Even though it was a weird necklace to fix, everything ended up great and only took around 20 minutes. It looks as good as new!! I’m forever grateful :)

Arcadian Antiques is truly a special place! I have followed them on Instagram for several years and recently saw a beautiful emerald ring that was exactly what I had always wanted. After contacting them through IG, I purchased the ring and they had it sized and then held onto it in their shop until I was able to make my trip from New Mexico to Ann Arbor. I brought my daughter in to the shop to choose a special piece for herself to celebrate her graduation. The family that owns the shop has been so wonderful to deal with and couldnt have been more friendly, welcoming and helpful. The shop is a wonder to see with so many beautiful antique jewelery pieces and every other thing you could imagine. This is a shop you must visit when in Ann Arbor! My husband and I both got our wedding bands at this store. They had a wonderful selection of beautiful antique jewelry, and the staff was very helpful. They gave us plenty of time to browse and make decisions. The ring we picked out for my husband needed to be made a lot bigger. They worked with a great jeweler who added size so seamlessly we couldnt even notice it on the intricate band. It was a great experience.

This store is amazing. Their specialty is engagement and wedding rings, but they have plenty of other goodies too. My fiancé bought my engagement ring from Arcadian and the owners have been so incredibly helpful and sweet during the whole process. A destination by itself!!! Well worth the trip to Ann Arbor!! Has a great selection of vintage jewelry and other unique trinkets and such. Not into the hard sale but always there to answer the question.I looked at many places for an engagement ring, the new cookie cutter ring selection just didnt cut it. Found a wonderfully crafted ring in my budget that exceed everything else in quality and character. The most important part she loved it. I found the ladies at Arcadian Antiques very helpful. I was happy to find that they have a jeweler that does metal work to do a small fix to my engagement ring as well as tighten the stone and clean it up! It looks brand new and so clean and shiny. A wonderful valentine’s day treat for me. We did not purchase my ring through them, but they treated me just the same. Also a reminder to everyone out there: Stones come loose and it’s important to get them fixed up/tightened yearly! 👍

My parents have been going here for years and now I started to. Not only can you purchase great jewelry but you can get jewelry cleaned and customized here. Great selection of beautiful jewelry and amazing customer service. I came in hoping to find a wedding band to match my antique engagement ring looking for a very specific mid century style. I was thrilled to find multiple rings that I loved and at a very reasonable price (lower than Etsy and better quality!) The owner and her mom both provided awesome service. She even went out of her way for me to be able to pick up my ring since I was coming from out of town!

This store has an amazing collection of depression glass, estate jewelry, hat pins, quilts, tea cups and more. The glass and china is beautifully arranged by color in lovely cabinets. They have a huge collection of rings. Best of all, the employees are so friendly. I tried on several rings and the gal helping me was knowledgeable and helpful. (I know where Im going when my birthday or anniversary comes!) The gal who helped me said that they have a wonderful jeweler who specializes in repairing and sizing antique pieces. This review is far too long overdue, mainly because I was not sure how I could clearly and concisely convey how much I love The Arcadian Antiques. My husband and I bought both my engagement ring and my wedding band at the Arcadian. Rhonda and her staff are at once remarkably knowledgeable and modest. They allow guests to peruse and admire antiques without pressuring you for a sale. Ask them a question, though, and they can provide detailed information on any of the pieces in the store.Rhonda in particular is without compare. Antiquing has been a hobby of mine for some time, and I have not yet met another professional that can match her knowledge and compassion. I moved to California a while ago, and recently needed repairs to my antique wedding ring. I visited several shops near me in CA, but was not comfortable entrusting my ring to any of them. I contacted Rhonda who helped talk me through what exactly needed to be done to repair my ring. She suggested that I ship the ring back to her store, providing detailed instructions as well as kind words to ease my worries. Rhonda was able to facilitate the repairs in a short amount of time, and I am happy to say my beautiful ring is gracing my finger once again.I will not hesitate to reach out to Rhonda for any additional questions that I have, and will go nowhere else for my antiquing needs!I cannot recommend Rhonda or the Arcadian Antiques more highly!

The owner is a very nice man who is very happy you are a customer which I cant say the same about the lady. She clearly likes a certain type of clientele and isnt fond of the others. Great store! I went in to see if they could help me switch a pendant onto a new necklace chain that I wasnt able to do myself. So I stopped by and asked if they could help me - they did it within a few days and for a fair price! Theyve got lots of unique pieces too. I will definitely be going back there if I need any more help with things like this or other repairs.

I cant say enough good things about this shop! I fell in love with one of the shops unique and vintage wedding bands but wasnt ready to commit. Within the next few days I knew the ring was for me. Not only was the staff well informed and helpful, the store owner went out of her way during her vacation to make arrangements so I could purchase my ring. I am beyond thankful for that gesture. I couldnt be happier with or more confident in my purchase from Arcadian. I was visiting Ann Arbor for the weekend and visited to shop during a spare hour. Rhonda and her daughter were attentive and patient without crowding--I was able to look and try rings on without feeling pressured. I was even allowed to wear the ring into the alley and see how the stones shone in natural lighting. Rhonda was able to find a wedding band that matched the style of the engagement ring I had chosen--a perfect set. I would not have thought of putting them together. Despite problems with my debit card (out of state purchase rejected), Rhonda was patient and completely understanding. My fiance mailed a check the next day. The rings were resized and mailed to my home and fit perfectly. Additionally, the professional who sized the band was able to maintain the etched pattern. I am very happy with my purchase and look forward to visiting in the future.

I was amazed at the detailing a lot of their art deco pieces had compared to new pieces you would purchase from chain manufacturers. I had an amazing experience picking out my engagement ring at the arcadian. The staff were very helpful and flexible with me when I had a difficult time making up my mind. The selection is amazing and there is so much to choose from. Rest assured anything you buy from The Arcadian is a treasure. My fiance and I wanted to use an old family ring that had been badly damaged for our engagement ring. I so wish we had before pictures to show the extent of the damage and how extreme the repairs were! The ring had been slammed in a door, resulting in significant damage to the band, loss of one of the sapphires, and microfracturing damaging the design. From the time we brought the ring into the shop to the time we had it returned from sizing was about 3 months. We are BEYOND THRILLED with the results. The front of the ring was placed on a new band, the missing sapphire was replaced, and the microfracturing was repaired, restoring this precious family ring to its original glory! We were so surprised by how good the ring looks. I would not hesitate at all to bring a family heirloom for repairs to Arcadian Antiques. We loved working with the family who owns the shop and are so happy with the outcome.

A fine experience at the Arcadian after searching Ann Arbor for a silver baby spoon -- a high quality selection of baby spoons there and high quality help in selecting one from it. Then the engraving, which was spectacularly good. I did not know such hand engraving was still available, but it is. Will certainly return to the shop in the future.

Not only does Arcadian have beautiful antique rings, they do high-quality jewelry repairs. Arcadian replaced my prong setting with a bezel setting and told me I would love the ring even more. They were right! Then, when the opal cracked they help me with a new opal and resetting. A great place owned and run by great people.

The Arcadian has the largest selection of quality antique jewelry that I have ever seen, especially engagement rings.
