Not capable of basic duties. I was told there was no availability for 1 tire change in their schedule. While I was in the store for over 45 minutes there were no vehicles in the bays while the employees laughed and joked the whole time. If you are not going to perform duties that a auto care center does, you might want to shut this department down.
I couldnt use the business...they got slow and sent the crew from TLE home. I drove to this Angola store on Sunday 7/18 from Ohio to buy a couple of tires. I knew they didnt close until 5:00 P.M. on Sundays because that is what is posted on their door. I arrived well before 5:00 and was surprised to find the outside door locked. I thought they might have just locked that door a little early. I drove to the front of the store and went in and went to the auto center and all the lights were off. I asked an employee and they said that they saw the auto center close early. I asked to speak to a manager and all they told me is that there was nobody who could help me. I asked if the store manager was in and was told they were on vacation until Monday 7/19 or Tuesday 7/20. I used to work for Walmart in Huntington and dont think we ever pulled anything like this on people. I certainly dont know why they wouldnt have at least kept one person on the payroll until it was the real time to close. I thought the manager I spoke to might have said I would have got some kind of discount for the inconvenience but I guess it didnt cross her mind. I plan on visiting the store again to talk with the store manager and if not happy with what I get there I will contact the district manager. I wasted an hour of my time and 3 gallons of gas to give the store business for what...nothing.
Good guys outside.
After getting a flat tire, I ended up just using my spare. Took my warranty tire (less than 3 months old) back to Walmart Wednesday afternoon at 2 and was told that it would be at least a 1 hour 45 minutes and asked if I wanted to make a reservation. I was told when a bought the tire less than 3 months ago it was first come first serve......set a ‘reservation’ at 8 for the next morning right when they opened. I was there by 8, after only 5 hours of sleep, and greeted shortly after by an associate who wrote me up. There was 3 other people waiting. He said he would get me right in, I asked how long it would be and was told 45 minutes. Came back 45 minutes later to watch them pull my car in and there are all new people in the waiting room. OVER TWO HOURS LATER my car is done, I’m checking out and my bill is over $130. TO CHANGE ONE WARRANTY TIRE which should have been about $23. Was told they would have to see how much money gets takes off?! The manager went looking for my old tire......very unhelpful. At 10:48 -nearly 3 hours after I got there- I’m finally walking out with a new tire and am EXTREMELY disappointed in Walmart. I have bought 6 tires from them within the last year and my first time going to the Angola location. Never again. 1. WHATS THE POINT OF MAKING A RESERVATION???? I specifically saw over half a dozen people check out and walk out the door who did not have a reservation. Apparently it means nothing. 2. When you buy a tire and add the road hazard warranty, it has a warranty PERIOD. If not, I should have been told when I purchased to warranty. 3. IF taking off one tire and mounting then putting on a tire takes OVER AN HOUR, you may need to work on your time management, just saying.Should have went anywhere else but here!!!!!
A snow came in a day before I went to Walmart and my battery, I have had for a year from Walmart, won’t start. Not considering I also got a nail in my tire. So, my day is already not going the best. Got my car started and made my way to Walmart. The woman at the tire and lube told me it would be about 30 minutes until my car was done getting the tire fixed. I come back in 30 minutes to find myself waiting another 30 minutes. Just find out they can’t fix my flat tire because they can’t jump start the battery I bought from them a year ago. They said they couldn’t jump start the battery, unless I was buying a battery from them. I’ve been around cars my whole life and every Walmart I’ve been to would’ve been more than happy to help jump start someone with a dead battery, especially one still under warranty from them. Needless to say they had to be able to turn the key and my car to start, without a jump box, for them to do any repair on my car. This is the worst experience I have had at a Walmart tire and lube. If I could give this rating a 0, I would. This Walmart really needs some help in satisfying their customers and better management.-From a college student who needs to go home, 4 hours away, after finals. Just wanted to make sure I made it home safe to my family for the holidays.
TERRIBLE service even by #Walmart standards. Called before hand to see if they could check our car tires and a woman named Jessica said come in because it was slow (we were right around the corner). Showed up and service manager (some big bald headed angry man) says, we cant see ya until after lunch - 3hrs later). Complete waste of our time and very rude service manager. Gives walmart corporation a bad name. Manager looks unhappy, so unhappy he should get a new job and not take it out on customers.
About what I expected
Had my tires rotated in my hometown in Illinois. Forgot to have them retorqued, and didnt remember until I was about 10 mins from this auto center. The young man that appeared to be them manager got me right in and retorqued them 5 mins before they closed.
Called to make an appointment for 4 new tires 3 hours before they close. Was told they don’t make appointments, it’s first come, first serve, but they should have room for me. I come in 25 minutes later and get told they are full for the rest of the day and that I should’ve made an appointment. If you have a choice between here and Kendallville, just go to Kendallville.
Very happy with customer service!! I needed 2 new tires and the manager said to give me 2 for free!! They balanced them and everything. Definitely going back!!
Good service
Pointless to offer this service when their is minimal time that they get anything done....closed more then they should be. Get more employees
Nice woman, I dont know her name but she speaks with a strong accent. She is always helpful and attentive.
Convince of quality car maintenance at affordable prices while grocery shopping is unbeatable
Bought tires with the free rotation. On the 3rd one they refused to do it because the tires had un-even wear. What a RIP OFF! i will never be back and Ill make damn sure my friends and family will not be either.
LONGEST WAIT EVER. ONE TIRE IN FRONT OF MINE..literally been here for OVER THREE HOURS! MANAGER OF AUTOMOTOVE IS USELESS.
Twice now Ive been to them for new tires and twice they have turned me away. Today the guy decided that after giving 1 guy his car back and checking out another guy buying kitty litter suddenly they were full for anyone wanting service...3 HOURS before they close....BULL! I WILL NEVER GO HERE FOR ANYTHING RELATED TO MY CAR AGAIN!!!
The experts at walmart told me that they couldnt mount the factory size tire on the factory rim because it currently has a low profile tire on. Cracker jack certification, lazy techs that put more work in coming up with excuses to not work than actually work.
Long wait but inexpensive tires.
Going on a hour and half for a oil change 😂😂 apparently another hour or two of o need tires rotated what is going on here.
Sucked
Does anyone work in this place? Took 15 minutes to find someone, just to find out the department apparently closed over 2 hours early
Good but bad with sensors
Well Im here and it says open but the manager isnt here yet so they wont open . Not a good thing when your manager is late
Sat at this place for over an hour for them to tell us they couldnt help us
Auto center has scaled down items in store
The only lube place that actually vacuumed my floorboards
Great employees
Great work
Service is good
SLOOOOOWWWWWWW
