A fantastic place downtown to grab simple but delicious food. Their main fare is made to order burritos and sandwiches, both of which have a wide array of choices available and both of which are fantastic. There are also daily soups and specials which are consistently great. All in all, the offerings are a fairly simple array but youre sure to get something thats an enjoyable lunch every time. To top it all off, the service is cheerful and polite.

I love an unexpected twist on commerce, some surprise curve-ball on my automaton-, zombie-role as a consumer: The theater-pub phenomenon is a brilliant recent example. I heard of a band in the Lower 48 whose first gig was in a laundromat-bar in Ohio. K-Street follows a similar trajectory, operating as a convenience store while boasting the best burrito in town and top-notch coffee drinks made with Homers award-winning espresso roaster. Downtown Anchorage is littered with an embarrassing glut of shops selling generic, cliche and humorless t-shirts, hats, and cheap junk & trinkets all aimed at Tourists. K-Street, meanwhile, contains AK-themed treasures & practical items intended for travelers and adventurers: A wall of albums by AKs best songwriters/musicians, tasteful AK-themed wear, and last-minute gear and grub to fill out the weekend out-of-town camping trip. Located in one of the most *convenient* but unassuming locations in downtown, K Street warrants a visit whether youre the new arrival or first-time traveler to AKs biggest city, or youre looking to stock up on a few thoughtful, first-rate AK-themed gifts before catching your flight out of state and back home.

Today I had their chicken pot pie and a chocolate chip cookie. The cookie was the perfect mixture of soft and crunchy. The pot pie was excellent just like the mac n cheese I tried there last week. If Im working downtown and time is a factor they are my go to spot. They also have one of the best breakfast burritos in Alaska.

The girl working the night of 10/04/19 was super friendly and really helpful. The shepherds pie was sooo good. And the fresh-baked chocolate chip cookie too. Also, they have cucumber sparkling water that is sooo good as well. Great place to stop by for a quick bite or a snack.

Nice staff, definetly downtown prices but hey its a convenience store!! heart of tourist city, only thing they need improving on is organizing the shop i felt i was going too knock everything over as i passed by, it just looks messy, i think itd bring in more business other than that its ok if you need coffee, snacks, quick lunch

K St used to have probably the best burritos in town. They now use too much sauce and cheese and their chicken is rubbery. They also have a woman working for them who will take your cash, not change or wash her gloves and go right back to touching food. Pretty disgusting.

K Street is an oasis for the downtown Anchorage dweller and worker. Their food is way better than you might think for a place with the title of Convenience Store. I really like their sandwiches, salads, and breakfast burritos. They have a wide variety of snacks, good things to eat at lots of different prices. Always wonderful staff and a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. I introduce a lot of people to K Street and they usually get hooked.

I ordered a custom cold sandwich. There was nothing particularly special about it, however, the guy making it took tremendous care in its presentation. The ingredients were all in proportion, nothing was hanging off the edge, and it was wrapped neatly.

K Street has really good big fat burritos! They are also known for their awesome Ban-Apple Bread, the stuff is addicting! Very vegetarian friendly, they even have MorningStar veggie sausages on hand! The breakfast burritos are great, made with roasted red potatoes, eggs, pico de gallo, mixed bells, cheese and choice of protein. They have a rotating menu of soups daily, the Smoked Gouda Veggie Chowder is the bomb! They play great music, the staff is rad! HUGE selection of cold drinks and you can also order a ESPRESSO!!! Ride your bike down there, grab a bite and take it outside, there are tables out front and benches lining the street or have a picnic at the park down the hill and enjoy the weather and view of the inlet :)
