Amazing service! Got my remote auto start many years ago when they were still off of Dowling and after a couple years passed, my remote lost signal. I found their new location here on E 5th, same owner, and he restored my signal in a matter of minutes, no charge. Definitely stands by his work. Today, I got my sound upgraded and holy face melt... hearing my dubstep collection in a whole new.. light? Haha.. or decibel? Lol. This bass is sexy AF!! Update - its 12 below zero on a Saturday morning. My 17 year old vehicle is outside, not plugged in. It just started on the first try, and Im nice and comfy inside. Thank you! I bought two remote starts for Christmas, they had a great deal - one for me and one as a gift. The purchase process couldnt be easier - unlike some places they wont surprise you with additional charges. Very pleasant atmosphere, clean and inviting (ignore the surrounding neighborhood). Helpful, knowledgeable, professional staff - the young lady I worked with was wonderful. The remote starts were installed as scheduled and on time, and work perfectly. They are also the only such shop that I know of on this side of town where I live and work, and I appreciate that. Overall a great experience and product.

I live far, and this is still the only shop within a 200 mile radius I’ll take any of my vehicles too. Nick knows the product that he is selling, possibly better than the people who create and design it. Always the first to greet customers with a smile. One time I brought him my dirty car to get tinted. He told me to get it detailed. I did, and came back the next day and got an amazing tint job done as well as a remote start on my manual transmission VW. Nick is definitely someone who is not afraid of any challenge, and he certainly enjoys what he does. 10/10, will be back.

Nick helped me with my sub that I installed by myself. The only thing I bought from the store was amp wire, he didn’t hesitate to answer all questions I had about installing the sub. Haven’t done an install in years and never with a factory amp and radio. Even saved me money by giving me wires I could hook up to my amp instead of buying a head unit

I took my vehicle here to get an alarm and auto start installed. They had amazing service, explained what I was paying for very well(reasonable prices too), and finished the job within a few hours of drop off. Highly recommend and very grateful for such a good experience

We’ve had multiple vehicles serviced here for remote start and audio installs as well as window tint. The owner is always straight forward with pricing and the results always beat our expectations. We have shops closer to us, but Nick makes it an easy decision to make the 40 mile drive to have the work done here.

I just had a new auto start installed by the awesome guys at Anchorage Remote Start and Sound. They got me in right away, despite scheduling in the middle of the coldest month of the year! They talked me through my options and helped me choose the best remote start for my needs! The customer service was very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. They had my car completed in just a couple hours! THE BEST PART was after returning to work, I tested my auto start from my desk. I work in a 13 floor office space and my desk is located on the opposite side of the building and campus from where I park! I used to have to walk to the window closest to the parking lot, and still not always get a successful start with my remote.I pushed the button without leaving my desk chair and it started IMMEDIATELY! I also have an app on my phone that can start my car from literally anywhere. I am so happy with the service and product! Anchorage Remote Start and Sound just tinted the windows of my new SUV and in the past they installed a back up camera for my family. I can always trust them to take care of our vehicles. If youre into really bad installs this is the place for you! Solder? Who needs solder when you can just twist wires together and tape over them, no one will actually check. The best part? in a few years when the connections break down your car will start doing wacky things to entertain you.No hood pin ether so when youre working on it and the thing decides to crank you better be ready for a good time. Hopefully you wont loose a finger or two.Really wish I could post pictures so people can see what high school quality looks like.

Nick helped me out, listened to my needs and expectations, made a few recommendations, and helped me pick out the best unit for my needs. I didnt feel like he was trying to push the most expensive / gee-whiz featured product, but instead listed the pros and cons of different units, and the phone call was done in less than 10 minutes (about 7 minutes 30 seconds).

About two years ago I had my 02 forester tinted and it came out wonderful. About two weeks later my front window had began to peel, so I called the shop and the same day they changed out the tint and my windows have been looking as good as new since. I recently drop off my new Subaru and again, window tinting to perfection. Excellent work and amazing customer service, highly recommended. I also did some shopping around and nobody beat their price around the anchorage area.

Made an appointment there and drove all the way there only to hear that it was too cold to tint the windows and that all of the tinting appointments had been cancelled, but no one from the shop had notified me. I went elsewhere, same day and got it done cheaper. Im so happy there is competition in this town and people actually work to earn business.

I have a push start car and they charged me $250 for the basic install where other places want over 400 for the same work.I highly recommend this place. We had a quote to install an auto start for $200. When I came in to pay for the auto start, they said that it actually costed more than $200, but they still honored the $200 quote. I thought that was really honest of them. They also did a good job on the install and a good job explaining how the auto start worked.

Took my car there to get tinted, dropped it off and 1 hour later the guy tells me he cant do the tint because the window sill has a little bit of pollen or that cotton that falls from the tree.. That the weirdest thing I have ever heard,it is like a mechanic saying he cant work on your car because it has oil in it. Part of window tinting is prep work like cleaning the window sill so the adhesive will stick. Wasted my time, I feel like he needs to put this disclaimer on the website or on the paperwork before people go there. Unless he was just using that as an excuse not to tint the window. Update Aug 30 2018, I took my car to Shades of Competition and they knocked out the tint in 30 min!! as opposed to dropping my car off all day like this place, and no mention of cotton or any other nonsense on the windowsill.

Was immediately greeted by the gentlemen there. I told them I needed a new remote, they just happened to have it in stock, they got it linked with my truck and fully operational in 5 minutes. Brought a remote starter from here. When checking out I had questions about how it operated. The seemed annoyed. No one took me out to my vehicle to go over how to start it. For the price I got it for thanks but I wont be coming back here to get anything done just because of the customer service that day

Needed a replacement remote for my trucks remote start, one look in the truck he knew exactly which system I had and had the new remotes hooked up in 5 minutes.

Got a replacement remote. The experience could have been better, could have been worse.

Was not installed right was hooked up to the wires that read the brain so it kept interfering with trying to read codes and he twisted the wires together and just wrapped it with electrical tape
