Lol, there is a 5 star review from the owner (I’m pretty sure this is a violation of Google’s policies). That alone should tell you all you need to know about this place πŸ˜‚

I love Paul. It was a pleasure working with him. SAV-ON installed his new FLOORING and we hope he loves it. We look forward to buying some winter gear this year. He has the best prices in town.

Horrible experience.I was told I could not be in the store without a mask despite informing the man, who I assume to be the owner, that I cannot safely wear one and am among those listed on the mayors mandate as exempt. He aggressively told me to leave his store after first saying he would research and read the mandate all the way through. Clearly this man has not read the mayors mandate for himself. He told me I could β€œgo ahead and sue him” and to get out of his store.I felt threatened and attacked. I cannot help that I cannot safely wear a face covering as it would be detrimental to my health.Clearly this business does not care about their customers enough to educate themselves.

Lack of any adult winter footwear... and in feb in Alaska you’d expect an outfitter store to have some.

I would not recommend this business to anyone! They gave me such a hassle because my child wasn’t wearing a mask(15yr). I explained to them he was unable to wear a mask due to him having Down syndrome and various other ailments but the owner refused to listen. He yelled at me and was extremely rude about the situation. I don’t know if it had something to do with me being a black woman or if people are that bothered if my disabled child can’t medically wear one. Every time we vacation up here we visit this store but unfortunately we won’t be back. So heartbroken about this.

I’m 100% about shopping local, but you’ve gotta step your game up if you want to compete with everyone else in town. Sub-par, run down, mediocre. Do not recommend.
