This Anaheim Plaza Ulta branch is good customer care shop. Although they didn’t have what we came in for, they still deserve a 5 star rating from me. They have great number of top brands. They are happy to give advice. I like their style: when they don’t have what you want they volunteer to guide you where you may find it

The workers are very helpful. Moné helped me pick out a lipstick that matched a swatch of fabric very well. It looks very good and she was very nice.

No attention to detail. Walked in as a customer . 3 sales people standing at the desk. Not one greeting from any of the three. Moving on to the entire experience. Would not come back. Pay attention to your paying customers.

My first visit to this particular Ulta and found that it didn’t fail to meet my expectations previously set by an Ulta of a different location. Great customer service, stocked product and clean/well maintained store. Would visit again.

Employees are nice. I went to get some brushes and everyone was really helpful from floor staff to the cashiers. My only complaint was that I wish the shelves were more organized, it seems a lot of customers just dont care enough to put products back properly so theres stuff thats misplaced throughout the store and sometimes even stuff on the ground. Otherwise this is a decent Ulta and employees can help you find what you want, theyre all very kind and willing to help you.

I went into the store, and not one person ask if I needed help .I had to ask for help .I was turn to a lady that had spike white hair .I felt I was being rushed, and its not like the store was busy .I dont want to give this store a good rate at all. Poor service.

This store is terrible and I am So very disappointed my apartment is literally right behind this place and I go here multiple times a week spending a couple hundred each time !!! Yet yesterday when I was in store I had a staff member totally disrespect me and act like I was some kind of criminal even when I was trying to ask for her advice feed back on make up ... oh and it continued all the way up un to check out ... she made sure to yell over to cashier to make sure she had gotten all items from me ( as if I was trying to not to pay for something ) I am disgusted and the other employees wouldn’t give me the name of management stay far far from this store unless you don’t mind harassment

Great place to shop for makeup. Staff is polite, nice, happy. Staff definitely knows what they are doing.they are very helpful and help you find exactly what you are looking for. Absolutely amazing employees!

Was an ok experience. It was not busy. I had questions and no one on floor to help except for girls at registers. Staff is friendly. Shelves were not fully stocked. A lot of items out of stock. Inventory online does not reflect what is in store. Save time by calling ahead.

Their Salon service is terrible. Pre Covid and during their reopening. They keep canceling their appointments last minute, or booking appointments then when you get there they tell you you arenot in the system, their stylists never do the job that you ask them to do and you walk out of there spending moneybut you still look the same as you came in. I have so many issues with this location. At this point I rather book elsewhere even another Ulta. This is the first and only Ultra I have had to give a bad review to.

The samples were gross, and they would not stop asking if I needed anything. I had a bag full of items and found those fine by myself. So annoying. Also the store needs to be restocked. Half items I went to buy werent even there. No love for drugstore.

Alright. Been waiting for an item to go back in stock, it said it was in stock on their website and i didn’t want to order $8 shipping when my item is $7 so i went to the store (10 mins away). I couldn’t find a person to ask if they had the product so i looked for it. 15 minutes passed and nothing. An employee was on her way to clock out, i asked her and she said its not in stock but i can ask them to ship it to my house. I went to the cashier and they couldn’t order it for me because their system was down. They gave me free shipping card which is why i added a starThis is the 2nd time I go on the website where it says its in stock and they dont have it. Last time they got my address Wrong and didn’t return the money.Their customers are ok, but they need more employees. Security guy really nice.In summary:1. Need more people for i can ask where a certain item is.2. Whoever is responsible for the “ in stock” stuff on their website needs to update it.3. ITEMS NEVER IN STOCK. JUST GO THERE TO GET FREE SHIPPING.

Nice store with tons of brands and literally everything you need to fix yourself up. They didnt have what I needed unfortunately but I did find a really nice lipstick by Clinique so Im happy. Definitely will go back to explore some more.

I went here and no one asked me if I needed help. They would walk past me to ask others if they needed help. When I finally was able to find someone available they made me wait since they had short staff which they really didnt. But if thats the case they should hire more people.

Love this store... They have most everything a girl would want or need to get pretty! From lotions and hair dye to high end perfumes and yup of the line hair dryers. Oh and almost forgot they have a hair salon and walk ins are welcomed! They have decent coupons sometimes... Like 20% off total purchase .. ... But usually its just $3.50 off of $10 our more. Their mailers are good to watch for also. Sign up fur their rewards card... That also gives cash back after so many points... Ultra is very similar to Sephora... Maybe a little less merchandise but they have enough to keep a girl busy looking for hours!

I got my hair cut here. I loved it. The hair dresser did a very good job fixing it.

I come here every two weeks to get my brows done and they have yet to disappoint. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I have to shout out Yolanda at the Brow Bar. My brows always come out even and proportionate to my face and Ive gotten a lot of compliments. Thank you!

Some of the employees here are rude. I feel they always give me a hard time when I have coupons. The heavier set employee with lots of tattoos is rude! She has been there for a while but I feel like when I go there and I see her she is always giving mean looks to the customers. I don’t go to this store as much as I use to, sad,,, I was always buying my makeup at this store. I guess they need more customer service training.

They dont help black customers. They will walk right past you. When you stop one of them, they get an attitude. Security continues to come around to the same area we are in as if we are stealing products. Do better Ulta.

No help ever. If so it’s not good help it’s run this or that. Apt of the products are either missing and stolen from the packaging which pretty much sucks because it’s often the type of color needed. It gets pretty nasty with the sample makeups and what not and def the organization of the makeup needs help as well. Too much shrinkage and a clean wud make this location better.

This is the best place to get your eyebrows done especially for the first time. I recommend Yolanda she is super nice and friendly and does SUPER NICE eyebrows.

So today on Sunday 09/18/2019 after having a horrible weekend I did my usual run errands on a Sunday if I’m not having brunch with my colleagues and business related friends. I ended up having Marks on my neck where it looked like a bear clawed me 😂 well I felt extremely uncomfortable before coming in. One I am a male and buying makeup products after doing something out of character well I felt the anxiety at an all time high. Stevie and her team made me feel at home. I am going to this store and this store only when I need products. I am so happy an associate walked up to me as I can be an extrovert but in situations like this I am definitely an introvert. Stevie and her team made the experience the most pleasant experience ever. ☺️🖤

This location is the absolute worst Ulta I have ever visited. They are always out of things with multiple workers standing around and no one offers to help you until you go and interrupt their conversation and ask for assistance. Every time I go into this location they say we just got a shipment today but we don’t have any want to put it out even though there are five or more workers standing around. Don’t waste your time going.

Looks like they have everything for beauty in this store. I found the employees very friendly and very helpful. They explained a lot of things about the store to me and answered all of my questions. Ulta is very clean, well managed and this store is busy.

Worst location!! Went in here yesterday to get a few things. Was greeted at the door by the security guard who than proceeded to follow me around the store. I have never felt more uncomfortable in my life. I will continue to go to the one at the Bella Tera where they treat their customers with dignity. Just horrible seeing as this is the closest to my house.

My wife loves this place. Quality name brand cosmetic products all under one roof.

This used to be my favorite go to store. Unfortunately things have changed 2019 is really not their year once again. Every time I go everything is out of stock and they literally don’t want to go look for it. Also the customer service horrible it’s ridiculous! Ulta step up your game please. I will not be returning to this location. I am a regular paying customer (have paid hundreds) for Ulta and normally have a great experience but tonight was a different story. I thought I was going in for a little me time relaxation but I ended up leaving feeling super uncomfortable and humiliated. I received my trim and Lauren did a great job! I also wanted to pick up a couple makeup and hair products while I was there and not realizing it I dropped my service receipt (you use it to pay for your salon service) while I was looking for foundation and trying different ones on. The manager approached me with the security guard to ask if it was mine. Already embarrassed, I apologized. The manager was gracious and complimented my hair. My hands were full at the time since I just came from the salon and neither offered to hold my stuff at the front or provide a shopping bag while I continued to look. I get it, I used to work retail, when someone does something that looks shady then all eyes are on that person. Well as Im trying to enjoy the remainder of my shopping experience the security guard continues to follow me around like Im on FBIs Most Wanted list. No matter what isle I went down he followed me to the point that I felt extremely humiliated and uncomfortable. Totally ruined my entire relaxing me time shopping experience. Needless to say I WILL not be returning to that location.Update - after reading through the other reviews I realize I am not the only one who has had this very humiliating experience. Thank you to those who also posted specifically on this topic. I will also be contacting corporate to inform them of my very humiliating experience and that I will not be returning

This Ulta gets really packed w a lot of customers. The selection of products at this location are not as extensive as other Ulta stores located in Orange County.The customer service was very helpful and kind.

Middle of a Sunday afternoon... We were not acknowledged when we entered and we were ignored as we shopped. Couldnt locate everything we wanted, couldnt get any help, so we left our items on a shelf and walked out empty-handed.

Good selection of products. The only thing that would make this store better is if they would start selling Kat VonDee!

Lots of selections to choose from we got immediate help finding our items. I highly recommend this shop for all your beauty needs

This Ulta is located inside of a very busy retail complex so parking can be extensively crowded on their busiest days (i.e. weekends).Inside the store is a nice layout but if its a busy shopping day then the same dilemma. Tight and crowded on busy days.

I went there recently and the staff were constantly following me and my family as if we were the only ones in the store. It made me and my family uncomfortable to shop there so we left.I decided to give it another chance and went again, but this time the staff on the floor and register kept using strong language and curse words every time she messed up. It was very unprofessional. I also had no help whenever I tried to ask. I decided this location is not for me.

Love going to Ulta! Jachelle is wonderful and does a great job. Recommend her in the salon.

Its so great to have a store like this at the Anaheim plaza. I dont have to go to downtown Disney of the Brea Mall to go to Sephora anymore they have a great selection of top name brand cosmetics and skincare.you wont get the assistance you would at Sephora and the expertise but if you know what you want well Ive been able to run in and grab it and go.They have plenty of testers for all the products and Im very pleased with this store.

Went in looking for some fragrances, but they had to paper strips to try them out on. Noticed lots of trash left around from customers. I know generally ULTA is a bit more put together than what I saw, and it was disappointing not to have found what I needed. Still a great store with a great selection though.

Pretty helpful employees, gave drugstore dupes for high end products and gave me the pros and cons for example two face better then sex has a loreal lash paradise dupe. Only problem with drug store brands is they tend to dry out faster, no problem just add visine and toss all mascara after 3 months cause the reason why mascara slowly gets lumpy is because its growing bacteria....the more you know!

Went to get my hair dyed and I loved how it came out. Both Janet and Pam were really friendly.

The staff was veey friendly and helpful. And they didnt hang over my head which i always appreciate. After forgetting my wallet they were kind enough to hold my items until the end of the day. And told me I can ask to put them on hold again tomorrow if i need to. I love ulta and their employees.

If they had zero stars i’d probably rate it that... i went to go get my eyebrows done because i have trip soon and the lady there ripped a layer of my skin off under my eyebrows and above i don’t recommend going here at all . i’m so mad about how i look and it’s so painful. don’t be like me and don’t go to this ulta ! also the staff here are incredibly rude .

I went one late afternoon to shop for an eyebrow pencil. I ended up grabbing more than just that. I had in my hand more than I could carry and needed to get one more item that was on the bottom shelf. So I put everything on the floor grabbed the item and was looking down to figured how I was going to carry back everything but all of the sudden there was a shopping bag open ready for me to put all my items inside it. I looked up and it was the store manager (Noel). We both laughed, she saw my struggle. I felt so happy and thankful, she came right on time to the rescue.

Was not greeted by anyone. Prices were just outrageous. Was very few help. They had a register closed in the back. This time of the year they should have had that open. One of the cashiers was rude and she called me doll. Another thing is they ask you for to much personal questions. This time of there year asking for alot of information can hole up the lines. I was asked my birthday, email and home address very rediculous ! Store was a mess. Location is good. Nothing wrong with that. They should have been wearing elf hats or Santa hats. Also my husband said this lady cheated a man out of $20 didnt give him his change $20. But if that man would have walked out with $20 worth of stuff hed be in jail. Working at a high end store like that people need to be professional. Also they ran ok ult of stuff its Christmas get more orders so that its in stock. Merry Christmas. Store is always out of stock of different items like dos of colors lip gloss. On top of that on Multiple occasions the Manager Stevie has been so rude to us customers. Such A Unprofessional person as A Manager . One time I walked in and she was behind the register looking for something on bottom shelf well she saw me when I walked in but ignored me and continued her searching. After 10mnts literally me standing infront of her/register with her knowing Im there I proceed by saying Hi excuse me, can u help me ? She rudely picked her head Up and said Wait like what Who hired this individual. First She suppose to be the One to greet, 2nd Her responsibility is to assist a customer or let them know she will assist them in a minute or call someone to help them but instead I get ignored. She heard the door & looked up at me when I walked at 10am . Another time it was a 21day sale going on I was like the 3rd person in line and it was a Long linemy 10yr old son who is disabled needed to use the bathroom so I phone called them and they answered I told them I was the 3rd person in line but store didnt open until 15mnts & my son was disabled needed to use bathroom would they kindly let him use bathroom if not I will loose my spot in Line by having to walk to Ross & use their bathroom. They asked Stevie the manager if my son can use bathroom because I was standing in Line as the 3rd person and she said No okay well I asked can you please hold one item for me cus I will loose my spot and will not be able to get item. Well Stevie said No. Well sure enough when I went to Ross came back nothing left because only a few items were put out for sale. So I told Stevie that was not fair how she handled the problem I was the 3rd person in line and do have a handicap placard so it would have been nice if she would have out of curtosy held one item for me . She rudely and loud infront of staff and other customers said they have no special lines for the disabled and they dont hold items . What a hollow brain I have to say. So I told her that Im sure the other Manager would have handle the matter differently she replied the Black Manager isnt their anymore . I was shock she refer to the Previous Manager as the Black Manager instead of just the other Manager or atleast by her name because she Stevie sure dont look white to me. Anyways now again 21days sale is on March 17 2019 - April 7th 2019 I think thats the ending date. Anyhow on Hot buys paper the Lorac palette is on sale so I go in the morning and ask for it well infront of everyone she raised her voice and said we dont carry Lorac. She was so rude no smile like she thinks shes in a boot-camp !! I told her well its on your sale she said Its an online purchase !!! I told her it would say online only but it doesnt its under hot buys. She was like we dont carry Lorac in our store, then she walks away. Like she so rude, unhappy and miserable and just embarrassed me because I didnt know this Ulta doesnt carry Lorac like atleast be polite and offer a customer to order it online there for us with free shipping to store its bad enough we have to come to this place and put up with a rude manager like her but a careless unprofessional stick up her θ ....Now the girl who cuts hair in the back who yes happens to be black 👍 is top notch customer service also older Hispanic sales associate is very nice and helpfull. Thank God for those TWO staff there or else I wouldnt step foot there I would drive that extra mile to Sephora 100%. ✋No doubt !! Online says stock on hand NOT. As I waited for Miss congeniality (mngr on duty) to check in back..... only 1 of 8 colors in stock. As I waited, most all items in surrounding aisles low or out. Will NEVER be back to this location. Seal Beach or Cerritos it is.😡

Arrived a few minutes after opening (10am). I am a frequent shopper at Ulta, Ive been to 3 different locations in as many weeks & visited one location 3 times with a total of 5 visits in 3 weeks. At each location Ive browsed the majority of both high end & drugstore beauty/makeup areas. In all 3 locations the ColourPop isle end cap was unorganized, outdated (swatched shadows from samples that were not in stock/available/or even listed where new/unopened shadows for purchase were kept), multiple samples missing (one sample so old & disgusting that it had turned a completely different color - a super shock shadow that I own). However, on this particular trip the store employees were in the process of changing the layout of ColourPops display to include foundation. Perhaps the issue at each store has been remedied. The Morphe display has a extremely sad liquid lip/lipstick display. I found multiple samples mixed in with the very few new unopened/for purchase & thought I was being helpful by returning the samples to their rightful place on the display... Only to have them fall completely through the slot in the display. Not surprising that when I opened the samples (thought that if I liked one I could ask if they have the product in the back since perhaps they just had not stocked the display yet - I did find one & someone was able to get the liquid lip from the stock room), they (lipsticks in particular - 4 that I looked at) were so absolutely disgusting that I didnt want to swatch them on my hand or arm. I really love Morphe products & was very sad to see how unkempt their display & how gross the samples were. Hopefully Morphe is also (like ColourPop) updating their display in Ulta stores very very soon.Whew - lengthy review. 😉

Came here because I did the most dumbest thing a girl could do while on vacation... I forgot my makeup bag! I usually go to Sephora and Dillards to get my makeup, but Ulta was closer. I was trying to see if they had Estee Lauder, but they dont carry the brand so she suggested about 5 other products from different brands. She took the time to color match my foundation, as well as color for eyebrows. I really like the Tarte Shape tape foundation she recommended to me, as well as the primer and concealer from Benefit. She was really nice and informative. Would definitely come here again if I am ever around this area again.
