I came in Saturday morning at 10 am with an appointment booked. Fortunately they had the tire in stock that I needed. They informed me they were a little behind and would get to my car as soon as they could. I asked for them to check out the TPMS sensors to make sure they were working because I have had a light on for awhile and figured that a battery might be dead. They said thats all part of the process and would be checked out. Once they pulled the tires off one of the technicians walked up to me and said the rear brakes need to be replaced and the rotors turned. (I have had no symptoms of pulsing in the brakes so I knew my rotors were okay.) I declined and they finished up the job. I was never told if my TPMS sensors are working and I still have a light on. Today I pulled the rear tires off only to find the lug nuts tightened well above the 85 ft/lbs (closer to 135 ft/lbs) and my brakes were in good condition. Rotors were not worn, no grooves and the brake pads had a good amount of material left. To top it off they did not replace the valve stem covers. Overall tire install was fine but thats it. Be carful and dont trust what they say and get a second opinion. I attached photos of the rotors and pads to review.Update*** I posted this same think in their in house review portal that gets posted to their website. It was denied.
Would give a zero star if possible. I called and was told there should be few spots left for oil change so I brought the car in at 10:30am. I was told oil change, car alignment will take 2 hours. 2 hours later, the status from their link still said technician not assigned. I called them and was told the technician will be assigned now and will take another 1.5 hrs. It is way TOO long to get service. Would NOT recommend unless you have plenty of time to wait.
Took my car in for a battery check. $20 to check the system. They said I need a battery but neither the technician nor the service writer seemed 100% confident in that diagnosis. It was more like “ we’re not sure what the readings mean so we’ll start with a new battery”. I bought the battery. Almost $300 dollars AND THEY STILL CHARGED ME FIR THE SYSTEM CHECK! Also $30 to install the battery. Both charges are completely out if he norm and I told the service writer this. He just said that’s their policy. I’ll never go to pro boys again.
Excellent, they checked my tire pressure. Just because I needed Help... Great customer service :)
Full disclosure I was upset about my flat tire, but feeling like I wasnt important is a regular feeling from ppl who fix cars, this was no exception. I felt like a burden, and unimportant. 3 stars instead of one, because he did try to help me. Im not sure if how long it took for him to focus on my car is a staffing issue, but it was slow enough for me to look into many other options while waiting. A lot of his lack of ability to help seemed out of his control. He made a good effort, but pep boys as a company doesnt seem to want business with Teslas.
Although their self booking reservation option online is convenient, they do need to update their reservation options, for they indicate time slots during their business hours; if one is making a reservation for auto service ie: wheel alignment, they stop taking vehicles at 4pm regardless of they have a reservation & especially if they arrive after 4pm. They know if this problem in their reservation system, so they recommend rebooking or at least calling the location to speak with a service rep.
I called before coming as my car got towed here. Walked in and seen two men sitting down who said nothing. I mentioned I spoke to someone and they all stared at each other and said no. Guy didn’t even look at my car when he already told me that they don’t have my tire. Now I’m stuck here with my son waiting to get another tow truck . If I could give 0 stars I would.
Pep Boys in Anaheim Hills has been taking care of our vehicles for years. They are honest and dont try to upsell repairs that arent needed.
Not much of a selection in the oil filter dept. Wal-Mart has a better selection. Thats pretty sad considering I was looking for a 2001 Chevy truck. Most common filter out there. Settled on a Purolator. It says masks are required, but I saw one cashier wearing one and the other didnt have one on. This location has always been poorly run anyway since I moved here 24 years ago in Anaheim hills.
Going out of business on the inside. Everything half off.
I waited over 2 hours for my car to be serviced for a simple screw in my tire, only to find out they had completely forgotten about my car. I’d recommend if you go here to look around at what cars are dropped off after you so they don’t forget about yours, as well. No compensation for time lost, as well.
There were very busy. Other times there were helpful But not last viset
I had a bad experience with the work done on my 2000 Lexusrx300. The auto was leaking oil and after paying for a diagnosis I was told it was the valve cover gasket. I paid hundreds of dollars to get it fixed. Got my car back sputtering to go uphill (also stopped while wife driving & risked a near accident), and still dripping oil. Took it back to them twice after explaining symptoms and telling them the check engine light goes on. They gave it back to me as is and said they can’t figure out the problem.I took it to a reputable shop down the street and within 5 minutes they explained to me the spark plug boot was not pushed in all the way. Whoever did the job at Pepboys did not finish it correctly. He offered to investigate why it’s still leaking oil (why I went to Pepboys to begin with) but I couldn’t afford it at the time.I complained to corporate and was told to get in touch with the manager Guillermo. I talked to Guillermo and he didn’t so much as say SORRY. I mean we almost got rear ended because of their botched work. He kept saying “um I don’t know what to tell you” repeating that over and over. What kind of manager does that? I thought they were there to fix problems. After expressing my dissatisfaction, he reluctantly asked me to bring in the car and see what we could do. Well guess what. Go ahead and keep my money. I’m not risking my life and more money to have a potentially incompetent person work on my car again. I’m done with pepBOYS. I’ll take my car down the street to the MEN who are great mechanics who are eager to serve. On a side note I’ve never had issues with their oil changes.
Sad to see they are changing to be come advanced auto parts
I been to many Pepboys locations because I moved few times, I moved to Yorba Linda area about 2 years and excited to find out there is Pepboys near by because my past experience with Pepboys was alway exceed my expectation, they are honest and not afraid to compete for your business with local competitors . But my excitement ends here with this location.Made an appointment online for an oil change service, arrived on time but I was told 2 hours wait time and the price they told was different than what was quoted over the phone before I scheduled the appointment. Also, store policy is not consist with other PepBoys locations. I recommend drive little more to Katella location at Orange .
My family and I were on our way home from Aliso Creek Beach, we live in Adelanto, so its a decent drive. Something flew up on the freeway and caught our tire and put a hole in it. We were able to get it into the Pep Boys parking lot at 5:41pm (they close at 6pm) and Jon in the service department helped me. I asked if hed be able to get us in, he said his tech had 3 jobs in front of me and they close at 6. He said hed go ask the techbif hed be able to take care of us. He came back and said yes! I was so relieved, they were able to get it patched up and had us ready to go by 6:10. Jon and that tech were amazing and I truly appreciate them staying after to take care of us, THANKS GUYS!
Ricardo is the best! I took my car for flat tire repair and he was very professional and courteous which I did not expect from Pep Boys.
Going out if business. Everything must go. At 40% off. Id wait till its 60-70% off before I really do some serious purchasing.
Add the right size tire I needed but said they couldnt change it because my truck was too big my truck was too big not sure why that was anywhere else changed it with no problem anywhere else changed it with no problem not very helpful Considering I was stuck and not able to go anywhere
Not a Pepboys anymore, it is Advanced Auto Parts!
Bill the service writer was very professional.Help me get my tire fixed in a short time.Christian was also professional and fixed the tire in short order.Everything I saw was done the right way.Tire was torqued to proper specifications. Not hammered with the air gun till it would not go any further.I was an aircraft mechanic and I know when the job is done right.I was very impressed.Very few places that I have been too that takes the time to do even the simplest jobs right.Keep up the good work!
My car needed a front-in alignment so I called Pep Boys. I was informed I needed to make an appointment and I did for the following day at 10:30. Once I arrived the next day they told me it would take all day, which I wondered why make an appointment if it’s going to take all day but I left my car. I did not receive a phone call until 5pm that day telling me it was ready for pick up. When I was paying for the work done I was informed they couldn’t give me the computer printout of the alignment because the printer was jammed... how convenient. Driving my car home my car was still pulling to the right, almost like nothing was done. I got home and tried calling Pep Boys to let them know my car is still driving the same and I’m on hold so long I decide to drive back there and tell them. I requested a refund because I am so frustrated at this point and I can’t dedicate another entire day for a simple alignment. They agree to give me my money back but they tell me it will take 2 to 3 days to get a credit. The people that work there are complete idiots and I will NEVER give them business again.
I’ve always had a great experience here. Reasonable prices, and great customer service. I love coming here and will always trust you guys with my car. Thanks for all y’all do!
Weve been Pep Boys customers for many years. Weve been very satisfied, and their coupons are very generous too. I was mailed 2 $20 gift cards plus used a 20% off coupon. All are mailed regularly to me. My oil change with synthetic oil was $30! Also they are polite and close by
For some reason, Pep Boys closes at 6:00pm. The other major chain auto parts stores are open much later (9 or 10pm). This is simply out of step. In addition, it is very difficult to search for parts on the website.
The worst auto shop I ever been. I came here to buy a head unit. Employee doesn’t know anything not knowledgeable at all. When I asked front desk girl what kinda harness should I buy. She gave me an attitude no reason. (Aww I don’t know what should you buy for car play I don’t own an audio shop). Save your car don’t come here. THE WORST AUTO place in town.
No auto parts for sale here!it is service only 😢😢😢The Store is changing names/ owners
It’s 9:20 and a line of people are waiting. The lights are on and no one is answering the phone. Someone saw an employee enter. This place opens at 9:00. What’s going on?
Went there for a convenient battery replacement and they scratched up my interior with their toolbelt.
Thank god for this place! My tire shredded on the 91 tonight and even though it was 20 minutes until closing they agreed to change my tire! I was distraught and they calmed me down and were beyond courteous and helpful!
Best experience Ive had getting car worked on so far. I needed my tire patched and my brake lights fixed. My trunk wouldnt open and they found a way around it. They even noticed my window was stuck and helped me close it without my asking. I couldnt afford much so, I think the persons name was Sam, helped me find a coupon to make it more affordable. Sam was definitely an asset to the company. Caring people, excellent service.
Recently had 75K service performed on my truck. Excellent work done. The staff was very professional and courteous as they walked me through the necessary maintenance. They honored my time and kept me aware all along the way through text messages.
FYI, this store is closing, bit is going to be service only. However a new parts store is moving in to the location.
Called in earlier and they had what i needed. In and out thr store quickly.
Great work and reliable.
These guys are AWESOME...Ive been here twice for some minor issues with my Camaro and they have always taken care of me without overcharging me..highly recommend them
I had a blowout, and after waiting 5hrs to even get there.....when I did get there I was greeted with kindness, and a valiant effort was made to get me everything I needed, tho my tires would have to be ordered, and not recieved till the following day, they tried looking for anything to get me on my way....tho they didnt have what I needed they went above and beyond to get me to someone who could.....and for that I will be forever grateful to all the guys here at this pep boys...... thanks guys!!
Worst experience ever. Went here for an alternator replacement, oil change, and new front brakes. When I got home about five to ten miles from the shop my car engine was smoking. Upon further inspection and after spending almost $800 at the shop, my entire coolant tank was not replaced in my vehicle. When I tried to speak to employees outside of a closed shop, they laughed and said they open at ten in the morning but if I wanted corporate or the managers number I’d have to go into the shop and get a card. The shop was obviously closed. When I asked for their names they gave me a made up name, when I asked them to spell it they couldn’t and said they gave me the name of another employee. So I took a picture of the three men and will be at the shop in the morning. If I could give zero stars I would!
XOXO 😘
I needed new tires. The service guy was sketchy about how long it would take and said there were people in front of me. I said I understand and I dont want to wait around for hours. I asked when I should come back so I wont have to wait so long. Then another service guy whispered something in his ear and he told me he could get me in right away. Great, I thought. Three hours later my car was ready. THREE HOURS! If he just would have been honest with me at the beginning I would have been happy to come back another time. I told him I did not want to be there for hours, yet there I was three hours later waiting for my car. Unbelievable. A little honestly and forthrightness would go a long way to stop you from wasting your customers time.
They have the zero weight oil that me Honda requires and the better brand of Castor Oil. Keeps your engine running better and cleaner. Staff is always completely about customer service if you ask. We went one time just for a battery check and they did with no push back. Love these guys.
I took my sisters Chevy S10 to them for an oil change and smog check . The service manager Guiremmo was rude and insulting and the vehicle didnt pass smog and was given no clear reason as to why or how to fix the problem. I would rate them 0 but 1 is as low as it goes. The worst experience to date with an automobile service shop.
Parts department is closed
If I could give ZERO stars, I would. I have been dealing with Pep Boys location in Anaheim hills on Santa Ana Canyon for 2 days now and still have no tires on my vehicle. To make matters worse I just tried to have a conversation with the manager Guillermo, asked to speak to him outside because Im very upset, there are several people inside and didnt want to make a scene in front of other customers. He outright refused to speak to me outside. I also made an attempt at contacting Corp., and the same recording kept looping over and over without the option of even leaving a message, no hours, or other information available. I have been a LONG TIME customer of Pep Boys, NEVER AGAIN! And GUILLERMO NEEDS TO BE FIRED!!!
Brought in a battery on Saturday 01/19/2019 for a warranty claim. I had been informed by a mechanic that he believed it to have a bad cell after testing the battery and alternator of my vehicle. Battery was purchased 10/2018. Receipt was in hand. I was informed it would take a half hour. I asked why and was told it needed to charge. Was told charging usually takes an hour, so I shouldn’t feel too bad about 30 minutes. I left my phone number and went across the street. I was called approximately 10-15 minutes later and was told it was charged and tested fine. There would be no warranty replacement. I explained my issues and was told, even if it tested bad somewhere else they will only rely on their own test. Fair enough. I asked for a written copy of warranty information/terms and after a long period of searching, was given 2 different documents, neither of which explained in detail what would or would not be deemed a warranty worthy issue. The manager called a person, who I believe was a district manager, after which she told me that person would call me on Monday to rectify my issue. I had been there approximately 1.5-2 hours only to be told I would receive a call regarding written warranty terms 2 days later(Monday) when who I believe is the district manager would be back to work. It is now late Tuesday afternoon/evening 01/22/2019 and I have heard nothing.1. I am unhappy about the battery even having issues and not being able to warranty it out2. I am more unhappy that I can’t get in writing the terms of the warranty i.e. what is considered “defective “3. I am even more unhappy that I was told that I would be contacted and my situation rectified only to be blown off.UPDATE 01/23/2019Computer generated auto response here on google reviews asking for my contact information. I already gave my contact information to your management and they haven’t contacted me
Had an oil change that took a long time. However the service was great, price was low, and they removed and fixed my tire that had a nail with no extra cost. Totally recommend this store and service provided. Very satisfied with this store.
Short answer; Great job, caring people. I have an older truck that gave up the ghost regarding my A/C Heater. I independently found that the controls were faulty. They had showed signs of failing for years. The control unit was a difficult to find. My particular year, 1995, had a reputation for control failure. So I found a company that remanufactured a 1996 control part with the proper 1995 install plugs. The 1995 parts have been not available for >10 years. So with part in hand I asked Pep Boys to install.I tried to install it myself but found it too difficult and the new part didnt work. Pep Boys A/C tech Leo was given the job. Well no wonder I couldnt fix it! Leo found at least three other issues wrong with my A/C. This employee was able to find and read the proper schematic and diagnose the separate problems.I could have never done this highly complicated work on my own. I am not afraid to work on my vehicles, but I also know there is also a time to ask for help. I applaud Leo, and his manager for the consciouenous work. Thank you.
Helpful, concise, and knowledgeable. Needed help asap in order to drive to AZ safely and here I am. Great timing too! Will definitely be using them again as I travel back and forth for work.
Stopped by with a car overheating issue. Carlos was very professional and even went out to look at my engine. He gave me his honest opinion despite not making any sale. Will definitely return and purchase automotive items here. Rare these days to find knowledgeable and honest sales/service
Order online, pick up in store. No more going to the store only to find your part is not in stock.I love pep boys!!!
Fast and reliable service. Thank you Pep Boys Auto Parts!
There was a super-helpful and friendly dude who helped me out. Thanks dude! Sorry I forgot your name, chill stranger.
Xlnt for car parts.
They went the extra mile for me in looking up a part that I was having trouble with. It wouldve been totally understandable if she had just said sorry, cant find it. Instead, she googled the info off the part I had brought in and cross referenced it for me to figure out what it was in their computer
Friendly and helpful service staff. On one visit they repaired a tire with a slow leak for a nominal cost (no attempt to trick me into buying a new tire). On my most recent visit, when I actually needed a new tire their service was quick and competent.
I work close by this location so I went to get a smog check, I dropped off my vehicle at noon, I was told it will be ready in 45 minutes and since I am off work at 4pm, I told them I will be there after 4pm to pick it.I get there after 4pm and waited 1/2 hour and they could not locate my paperwork, almost an hour waiting to tell me that the guy who took my service order had an emergency and the smog was never enter into the system and the smog was not done!!!!!Manager here has no customer service, I never received a call or anything that the smog was never done.I have been going here to get my services in all my vehicles for over 4 years and never had a problem, but I do see that the old staff is no longer there, it is new staff now.Worst experience ever, will not recommend this place at all and will definitely not come back.
Weve used the Anaheim Hills location a few different times and weve been very happy with their services.
Very bad customer service. Purchased for new tires on their new store credit card. No one knew how to process the payment. Agent told me to wait for someone to help, then went off to assist other customers without telling anyone. I was left to call the credit card company only to be told that the store has to make the call. Waited in line AGAIN to talk to a different clerk who finally called the card company. This is no way to treat a customer who just spoken $1000.
Ryan was awesome. Helped beyond my expectations!! 1st time here with my Subaru and definitely will be back. Even though its an hour and 15 minutes away from my house. Worth every minute of the drive to deal with guys like them. Thanks again
Went here on 9/22 for a nail removal and tire patch. The next day it was flat. Took it to American Tire Co. and they asked who did the work because it was done so poorly. Definitely didn’t recommend going here.
They always do a good job here and the last 2 times they were able to get me in on a tight schedule and do an oil change and a tire flat. There prices are always pretty good. The only reason they are not a 5 star is I didnt have the best experience a year ago with the smog guy/ women manager. Highly recommend going there for anything tire related.
I gave it 3 stars bcuz guys could have been more friendlier, they were ok maybe tired. Prices are way over priced but understanding everything cost these days. Ok goodnight Im tired myself
Horrible sitiation resolved by Ravis team of professionals. Shout out to Hunter and Alejandro. Everyone went above and beyond to make things right that other stores did wrong/unsafely. Ravi honored Pep Boys agreements and then went the extra mile plus 30 more to help out this customer drive safe while keeping the costs to the minimum. Ravi earns my highest recommendation for turning around this customer and saving the business. I live 25 miles away and it is worth the peace of mind.
I went in to buy oil on a tue morning it wasnt busy. I got my oil took it to the checkout and waited 6 minutes with no one coming to ring me up. While 4 employees stood around 1 computer at the service desk talking. Nobody said just a minute or acknowledge me. I finally put my oil down and left. Simple customer service goes a long way and theres needs work.
Honest staff goes a long way for repeat business. Took our Jeep in to get the battery checked out and they could have sold me one easy, but instead, they told me that my battery was in good shape and that we didnt need one. I will definitely be taking my Jeep back to Pep Boys next time the need arises.
Mark Tavares, an Employee at Pep Boys is such an excellent employee.I went there today to purchase a battery for my car. Mark first wanted to test the battery and took my phone number and started charging the battery.I headed home and 10 minutes later he called and said sorry Tony but the battery is bad.I turned around went back and he had the replacement battery at the register waiting. This is what I call “Excellent Customer Service”.Thanks Mark and Pep Boys for a great experience!Tony King
On our way to Arizona from Orange county our low air indicator came on. We looked for the closest repair shop & found Pep Boys. They fit us in and found no problems which put our minds at ease. They did not charge us. What a honest store. They get our 5 stars.
John at Anaheim Hills helped us immensely one Sunday afternoon with a flat tire. We were coming home from a nice dinner and were 2 exits from home and something slashed our tire. We got off the fwy and we were in and out of Pep Boys in like 10 minutes. He was such a blessing. Thanks again John!! 😃
Good selection of parts. Tried to buy Ford Focus battery at Cosco but they dont carry so Pet Boys was nearby having it in stock and saved the day.
Special ordered my tire, called me when it arrived. I went in the following day, they promptly took my SUV and put the tire on. Great service. 👍
I RATED THE SERVICE LOW BECAUSE I HAD A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE TO GET MY TIRE REPLACED.I wan on scheduled for replacing two rear tire for my car. for 6 pm. i was there on time and there was one lady in front of me talking with the service rep, Mr. Victor.5 minutes later, she left. Then Mr. Victor picked another customer( no idea where he comes from). they talked about 5 minutes and he left.I thought it should be my turn now. BUT Mr. Victor picked one more customer (still no idea where the guy comes from because i was the only one in the line). Then i thought ok, i can wait 5 minutes more for no problem. But they were talking with each other quietly NO-STOP for 30 minutes and still keep talking by 6.40 pm.Finally another service rep saw the problem and took me to his desk for everything. My comment is this is the first time i use Pep boys, but it definitely is my last time!Thank you!
They have most common necessary items needed for a car, a bit pricey but helpful if need anything.
There are a lot of Pep Boys out there but the staff at this location was particularly helpful and personable compared to others Ive been in. Im from San Diego but will wait till Im here to purchase what I need.
The service was adequate but not great. Walked in and was asked right away if I needed help at the service counter. I wanted to have a tire checked for a leak. They told me a price and I was okay with it. When finished I was called up to get my keys and start paying. It was less then estimated which made me believe they plugged a hole in the tire instead of patching from inside which I wanted. I wanted to know what was the object that made the leak and couldnt get a straight answer. I just wanted to leave so I didnt push for evidence. As I got in my car, I stopped to get fuel and decided to check my tires. The tire that was worked on wasnt filled to manufacturer specifications.
Great place to dump your used oil.
I always get exactly what I need at Pep Boys. The staff there is always willing to help. Got help buying a cell phone charger for my Truck. A nice Lady fixed me up with everything I needed. Thats why I come back.
I had a nail in the tread of a newer rear tire that I had requested to have plugged. Of course I was told that I needed a new tire and it was an automatic dismissal after I asked them to put it back on. I took it to another mechanic and of course it was able to be plugged. The 3.3 review is this number for a reason
Fast and friendly no waiting
Went in to get a Spark plug replaced and they wanted to charge me over 300.00 Stay away from this place all they want is to overcharge you.
Towed my truck to this location. My truck was overheating. After waiting for one hour they gave me the bad news. They have to replace the quick connect heater hose, and they have to do both for the amount of 340.00 this price includes. 2 gallons of coolant. The amount that this guys are charging are out of control. I decided not to service the car and towed it home.Did my research and the quick connect heater hose was only $ 6.79 ;the tool to remove the connector $12.79 and the coolant 31.98, two gallons, for a total of $55.75If you ever need a emergency service, for any other reason and you decide to take your car to this location, do your homework first, otherwise they will steal your money, because thats what they do if you dont know about cars. Again try to get more information about you problem that way youll be safe.I WILL NOT RECOMEND THIS FACILITY TO WORK MY CAR.....NEVER....
Made me wait 2 hours before telling me that their machine to smog test wasnt working. Only found out bc I went in to check the status of my car.
Joe in customer service and mechanic Bravo were great. VERY helpful! After a weekend of camping, the car was not getting us (family of five) home. Thanks to Joe and Bravo, only $20 later, we’re back on the road.
Not helpful nor friendly, thus not impressed.
This place is exactly the type of auto shop you fear going into because they will rob you blind. I have a broken automatic window on my driver side that was fully down. All I asked for was the panel to be taken off and for the window to be pulled up manually if possible. Generally it is a regulator problem, but I was hoping once the panel was off they could have a look and maybe it was something else (and cheaper). They guy told me it would cost $177 JUST to take the panel off and pull the window up. Then he said it was probably a regulator, but who would know for sure without looking at it or at least listening to it (which he didnt). I took the car home and took the TWO screws out and took off the panel, then pulled up the window. It took me 10 minutes at most. $177 bucks just to diagnose the issue. Dont bother with this place.
Took my girlfriends car in to get a new battery. They were knowledgable and helpful. We also bought windshield wipers and they installed them for free.
I made an appointment for a routine service for 2:00 pm, days in advance. I arrived at 1:55 and was told they wouldn’t even be able to look at my vehicle until 5:00. What is the point of making an appointment if they are not honored. I am extremely upset and disappointed and will be taking my business elsewhere.EDIT: Don’t be fooled by the fake concerned response below. I emailed as requested and, surprise, never heard anything back. Nice.
Mingo and Pep Boys have always taken care of all of my vehicles, as well all the members of my immediate family. Great service, Great prices. I cant recommend this location enough and have been a loyal customer for over 10 years.
A waste of time i needed to get my rotors and breaks done here about two weeks ago and they said I’d need new pads because one was 90% left and the other was 50% and they tried to charge me over $500 for it. They think they can get away with over charging people because it’s in a more wealthier place... DONT BE FOOLED!!!!
They have serviced my Mazda and Infiniti. Overall they do a good job at reasonable prices compared to the car dealers. They do once in while miss a small detail on a repair. I just recently had a radiator replaced on my Infiniti. Overall a good job. One small detail missed? They forgot to fill the coolant reservoir to the minimum. Minor detail. But thats what makes a quality repair! Will still go to Pep boys. Hope there quality is not slipping? I really like my location.
Couldnt find what I needed and the fellas were super helpful.. ended up finding just what I needed.. great job..
Waste of time. Made an appointment for a brake job, dropped it off on time. Waited 3 hours for a call (as they were going to inspect them then quote me a price.) Called them, got hung up on twice, finally reached someone who said it hadnt been looked at yet. 3 hours with an appointment and it was still parked in the same spot? No apology from anyone just a they should have told you we are short staffed today. So thanks Pepboys for wasting my time and $20 on a back and forth Uber trip. Ill take my business elsewhere.
Great people and service. Only four stars because of the over-long promised wait, but I was given a discount for not complaining, LOL, so that was cool.
Im not a car girl. On an errand for my husband, I went in, asked for Transmission Fluid. Was told which aisle. No offer to help me find which type. Took a bit to figure out even which to ask about. Took 2 bottles up to cashier, she told me which one, then let me walk back the wrong one. I also asked about service for my car. Not much info there. Just pointed toward the service desk.
Quick oil change, wasnt up sold and swap spare on for no charge when they found a nail. Very quick and courteous service
Came here to pickup my item that I ordered on line. Item was not there. I asked the person to contact the web customer service and see what happened to my item. He said he couldnt do it. He suggested it might have been delivered to another store. Asked him to call the other store, says he couldnt do it. Made me wait for over an hour, while serving other customers that had arrived after me, to just waste my time.
Anaheim Hills location was too busy to do an oil change. Service writer was too busy to call their Orange store fortunately I called Orange and was able to get the oil change in just under a hour! Cudos to the Orange store.
Great service! Got me in and out quick when I had a nail in my tire.
So friendly and knowledgeable and fast
Cheaper than your dealer, and more honest too. Take your car here for a price comparison and you wont regret it
