I went to get an oil change to ensure a safe trip. Unfortunately, they didn’t replace the gas cap. Currently, I am stuck in Wyoming 30 miles south of Jackson at 2 in the morning. Thanks Walmart.Will be pursuing reimbursement for damages to my truck.

WORST customer service experience I have ever had! I made an appointment on Thursday to come in at noon on Saturday. I got there 20 minutes early and they said there was a problem with my appointment and they had to re enter it. After that they said it would be a two hour wait!!!! So we came back two hours later and they said there was a mix up and they hadn’t even gotten my car in yet!!!!!!!!! I won’t be able to pickup my car until 4 now. I waited 4 hours just to get two tires put on that I had already bought and made an appointment for two days before. And I had to make TWO trips in to Walmart from my house! I will not be buying from them again and neither should you. There are plenty of other places around town that will get the job done much better and faster.

Went to buy tires and have them put on my wheels. Waited for an hour for the service writer to figure out how to write that up. He didnt figure it out. He went to go look for the tires that was in the system but couldnt locate them, so he sent me to the other Wal-Mart where I waited for an hour and half to be told they were to busy to do it.

The service was terrible waited 3 hours just to change tires that I brought in and then they put the rim on the trailer on backwards.

I left another review for the auto center on the main page but basically if you are looking for fast professional service go somewhere else. John the manager is really nice but the department as a whole needs motivated knowledge employees. They lack communication between the shop and desk. The gentleman who greets you acts like he is going out of his way to answer questions or help you other than the initial check in procedure.

Took 2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. And after it was all said and done, my car wouldnt start. The guy said they may have left a door cracked and killed the battery. Took 30 mins just to jump start the car. There is a very good reason this auto center has more bad reviews then good. The only upside was Sean was super nice about the whole thing. But I wont be going here again.

I noticed there were only complaints on here so I had to add my favorable experiences. Ive had oil changes here for the several months on two cars and I have been very pleased. Its super cheap and they do a good job, especially for the synthetic service.

Been sitting here for over an hour and they have done nothing but walk around talking. They are working on a car then came in a few minutes ago in the next bay. Both one is doing anything with the car in front of mine. So, I will be here, probably, for another hour. First and last time I ever use walmart auto for anything.

Summary: I suspect they are either inept or lazy... dont do business here.Went in for an oil change, they said they would call when ready. Called after two hours to check and they said to come get it, the cap was too tight and they couldnt change the oil. Got the car, returned home, and checked the cap (should have checked there, I know) It was not tight!!! Came off easily! Went back with an hour left before closing time and was refused service because the people who do oil changes had already gone home.Two possibilities, either they employ people too physically weak to do the job, or somebody wanted to go home early and was sandbagging. I suspect the latter, but either way what a poor poor way to run a business.

Went here to get a leakey tire fixed... Easy, right??? .....Wrong......I waited 2 whole hours for my car to be done, and when I go to pick it up they tell me there wasnt a leak in my tire. I knew there had to be one because my tire would go flat at least once a week so I told them to go back and check again! So they did and I waited another hour only to have them tell me again that there was no leak... So I went home having waisted 3 hours of my life...A month goes by and my tire continues to go flat so I finally go somewhere respectable.I go to Quick Lane Tire and Auto Center and guess what they find in my tire... A NAIL was going all the way through! I am now a loyal Quick Lane customer as they where very kind and respectful. I wont be going back to Wal-Mart auto center...

Nice prices but staff is real slow could get cars in and out in better time

Walmart Tire and Auto is horrible. The wait time for oil change is at least 45 minutes every time I called. During the oil change the worker just walk around and take their time and not ever care that Im waiting for my vehicle. At the end they did not set the oil change light so the light came on the very next day to i had to go back to reset the light. I took my truck to jiffy loop to change the oil...it only took 15 minutes. Also Jiffy Loop find out that there was a missing part of the oil filter. I went back to walmart and then manager was straight up denying without even looking around for the part. I ask the manager that i will take my business somewhere else because they are not taking care of me and he said OK. he did not even show any care or worry for losing a customer. I even mentioned to him that his workers are not trained properly because nobody figured out that the part was missing and he admitted no one figured that out. I will take my business somewhere else because the walmart workers dont care and the manager dont care either. I can not believe the manager (I think his name is Kent) is ok losing a long term customer over a piece of the oil filter. That goes to show what kind of manager and employees Walmart in Ammon, Idaho tire and lube department has. i will not reccomend this place to family, friends, or anybody that ask.

We brought in a Honda Odyssey and waited for two hours walking around the store for an OIL CHANGE on a Saturday night. The guy finally told us after we had spent our night walking around that they weren’t able to do the oil change for us and to do it somewhere else. Like what?! If you don’t do oil changes on a specific kind of car, then tell us BEFORE we waste our time. He had no idea what he was doing, and we will never come back to their auto center again. What a joke! Seems like they were just too lazy to do it since it was the end of the day for them.

Took two hour to repair a tire that has less than 50 miles on it. This after having them put the tire on in the first place. They didnt check the bead seal and it was leaking.

After an hour and a half of waiting they told me they couldnt take off the oil plug so they didnt do anything to it. Bad service

This shop went above and beyond to help me out. My passenger side sliding door window shattered on me while I was on hitt rd. Went to Walmart to crash wrap my window. The lady in the shop went into the store for me to get some plastic window wrap and some tape somi could stay with my kid in the car. Then she brought my car into the shop and vacuumed up the glass in my car and her and another shop employee wrapped and tape up my window for me! Im so grateful for their help! They made a stressful situation for me a little less stressful. Thank you!!

Terrible service! Brought in 2 vehicle for brand new tires.. return 2 hours later one is done, but they put the tires on backwards! the other is still parked, they didnt touch it because they didnt have the key to the lug nuts(why would a tire shop not have them anyways?) I left specific instruction before I left that a 1/2 inch drive is a proper tool for it. Get a whole run around that they wont touch it with out the key, so I find the key take the trucks back in the next day get the one fixed and tires on the other, hand them a $1600 check. They dont offer customers Anything( free rotations of flat repair like most shops) very arrogant management. I WILL NEVER TAKE A VEHICLE BACK TO THEM FOR ANYTHING!

Got my tires filled up with air for free, they were quick and got it taken care of.

Brought a battery in that was under warranty. Had to leave it all day for testing. It tested unusable. No refund or exchange because I cant find the receipt even though I have my bank statement. If I dont get satisfaction tomorrow I am going to BLAST this all over public media. NOT HAPPY

Absolutely horrible oil change. I got it changed 2 days ago and now I drive15 min and it overheated I pulled over and checked my coolant and that was fine. I turned to my oil, The cap wasnt on correctly and It was completely empty. I will NEVER bring my car in again

I blew out a tire during Thanksgiving and even though everyone and their brother was getting new tires, they still managed to get me taking care of. Thanks I appreciate it very much.

The absolute worst tire experience ive ever had and I wouldnt say Ive ever had an amazing tire experience. No one ever answers the phone. I was on hold for an hour. staff was rude, manager was belittling. hated it. never again.

Waited an hour after it was pulled in and they are jsit now draining the oil out..... manager asked if he could help me with something I tried to tell him I had been waiting for over an hour and they were just starting to drain my oil and he walked away before I finished my sentence. NEVER AGAIN they don’t know anythOmg about diesels at all!

Over filled oil. Came back told to drain it and its a diesel so dont just jump in and start it. He did...so oil in the drive way. Smoked solenoids. Im one happy SOB

Called to get a quote on tires, was redirected to the walmart phone operator who then told me they were busy and I needed to call back in a few minutes, wouldnt even try to transfer me back. I called back was redirected back to her two more times, finally someone answered and then continued to put me on hold for 10 mins. Then some girl answered the phone saying have you been helped? I told her no, I have been on hold for 10 mins and she then says what do you want? Uh excuse me! I then was offered only one tire they only had available for my car which was over $10 more than the Les Schuab similar tire. She was then rude getting me off of the phone. I went to Les Schuab. Some people need to realize they are not my only option, you dont get my money if you are not polite. Will never go there.

Absolute idiots work here. Spend the extra few dollars and take your car to people who know what the hell they are doing.

Got a oil change. They put the new filter on dry. Which caused it to leak until I got a oil changed again . Told the lube manager about the leak . He didnt even check it out. Took it to jiffy lube and had the oil changed. Hasnt leaked since.

If I got to say anything about Walmart auto care center for tires go elsewhere Walmart is the worst place to buy them from and if you are looking to get tires switched over fast they will not do it for you they take forever a two hour tire change ends up to be for four and a half hours I will not recommend this place to anybody and on top of it when I talk to the manager about it he was rude

They messed up my valve stem on my tire, broke one of my lug bolts and left it in the car.

Like the other negative reviews, either incompetent or just flat dont care about customers. Manager is worthless. Second time Ive brought my car in for an oil change. Go elsewhere.
